A rare sub-type of Slime. Rather than a transparent body, they have solid liquid bodies that imitate the color of metal. These colors can range from platinum, bronze, copper, gold, iron, lead, and even realm silver. Oddly enough, the type of metal their bodies take after has an influence on their disposition. Due to this, it is speculated that they have a higher thinking power than other species of slime.

Cowardly by nature, a Metal Slime will often times disguise themselves in plain sight. This will include the mimicry of shapes such as piles of gold coins, weapons, ingots, and other various items. If an adventurer discovers them, they will cast an involuntary charming spell on the man as they make their escape. Depending on the type of Metal Slime, this can even lead to symptoms that appear to be as if the man has been struck by a maddening greed. This is especially the case with Gold Slime, and men who fall prey to their lustrous shine have been noted to be under the effects of "The Ecstasy of Gold".

Despite their cowardice and mimicry, Metal Slime can and will attack the men who seek them out. Upon spotting the man who has fallen prey to the charm magic, they will feel a great happiness within their hearts. The stronger a man's lust for them, the more and more the slime will go out of their way to be discovered. When they realize that the man's drive for them is insatiable, she will go on the offensive, weighing him down with her metal-like body as she straddles him. The warmth of the slime as well as the luster of her body will drive the man deeper into madness and pleasure. Sex with a metal slime will not stop until the man has given himself completely to the pleasure of having sex with a monster.

Strangely, metal slime prefer to remain in a static human form after obtaining a husband. While they can never be seen as truly human, they remain completely devoted to their husband. Often times, they will serve as housewives, business partners, and even bodyguards. To provoke a metal slime is to invite disaster, however. Due to their rapid and unlimited shape-shifting ability, there are nearly an infinite amount of attack patterns they can perform. In the years of previous Demon Lords, metal slime were nearly hunted to extinction by adventurers looking to make a quick profit and to gain renown, due to their natural instinct of flight over fight.

There has been speculation in the past as to whether or not they are truly slime monsters. Some scholars have believed, after seeing the hunting mannerisms of several varieties, that they are more like advanced automatons. Whether or not this speculation has any credence has yet to be seen.

Furthermore, the jelly of a metal slime is nigh indistinguishable from the mineral or ore that their body mimics. This comes as a great boon to their husbands, as they view the giving of their jelly and the receiving of their partner's seed as a "great circle of love". Blacksmiths in the Demon Realm who forge weapons from a realm silver slime often proclaim the weapon's malleability and semi-sentience.
