Stop hooking things

Alexithymiaa: -Steph waasn't have a very good day and wasnt altogether thrilled to be at the mall, but costumes were necessary if they were going to pull off this party on Thursday. She was walking with her arms crossed over her chest, trying not to look as shitty as she felt as they headed in the direction of the Halloween store, staying mostly silent.-
Covet: Felix looked over at her as he gave a frown watching. "What's on your mind Red?" He asked her as he put a toothpic into his mouth walking to the halloween store excitedly, because halloween things.
Alexithymiaa: -Snapped out of her transe, she glanced up at him as she walked, her shoulder jerking in shrug. "I just feel like an asshole for dragging Cadence into my shit. She's got enough going on without having to deal with Keegan too."-
Covet: "Cadence already said it was fine though. Why are you stressing over it so hard. I got most of it cleaned off this morning It came off pretty quick with a hose and a scrub brush" Felix said looking over at Steph . "C'mon let's find us some costumes. I need a hook Jacket."
Alexithymiaa: "Because this is what I do. I stress. I'm good at it." She protested, following him into the store. "I know, and thank you for cleaning up for her. I know she really appreciated that." She forced a smile onto her face, beginning to make her way toward the men's section of the store. "I guess it's not just that. I got rid of my favorite jeans today because I couldn't even get them to button. Which just made lunch harder and by that point I'd ruined my entire day." She sighed, reaching out for a bunch of plastic gold necklaces to look at.-
Covet: "Hey, but that's good. that's progress. I'm proud of you. If you want we can go look at some new jeans for you?" He asked her putting an arm around her shoulders. "You aren't serious about me wearing that are you?" He asked curiously about the gold necklaces.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "I have new jeans. I just liked those... they had just enough holes to still be considered pants...." She pouted, thinking about how many times she'd put her foot through the hole and killed them. "No. I just wanted to look at them. You're going to be a sexy Hook. That doesn't involve excessive plastic treasure." She put the necklaces baack on the rack before spotting a pair of ultra platform sneakers that were definitely part of a spice girls costume, making a beeline for them.-
Covet: "Oh good god, you with the tall shoes." Felix said with a laugh. "Yeah, I need to find a good fake piercing for my ear. Too bad I can't grow any scruff though." He said feeling his face.
Alexithymiaa: "Leave me alone, I'm allowed to like feeling taller. Maybe I want to reach the top shelves without help. Problem?" She asked, giving him a little bit of shit as she clutched the shoe to her chest. "I can stipple some scruff onto your face, that's easy. You need a hook and a jacket. I can't fake that with make up."-
Covet: "Nope.. I'll just never understand your short person complex." He said with a laugh, then raised an eyebrow, " Make up beard? Won't that look totally obvious?" He asked her.
Alexithymiaa: "Because you're moderately tall. I spent my whole life trying to be shorter because I picked like the one thing that benefits being short. The rest of the world does not cater to short people and therefore I want to be a tall person now. Do you know how hard it is to find long dresses that don't swallow me? They're all made for super models with legs for days. It's bullshit." With the shoe in hand, she walked over to a pirate section, inspecting an eye patch and a hook hand. "You're worried about a beard looking obviously fake, but not the hook?"-
Covet: "Well I'm sorry that Dresses are such an inconvenience for you. You should just stop wearing them.. or clothes at all." He said with a cocky smirk because he was an ass. "The hook won't look THAT fake." He said exasperatedly.
Alexithymiaa: -She reached out to smack him with the large shoe. "We'd have to stay home all the time if you expect me to stop wearing clothes. And there are things like class and work and friends and eventually a wedding that all require clothes." She picked up the hook, passing it to him. "Here. Now you just need a jacket."-
Covet: "I mean, I could be okay with that. All of that." Felix said with a laugh clearly just joking. "Oh, hello hook." He said taking it as he started grabbing things around with said hook.
Alexithymiaa: "How do you expect to afford the house if we never go to work? And you better believe we are eventually getting married. You can't take it back now. It's too late. There's no escape." She laughed, knocking his hook away as she started to browse again in search of a jacket.-
Covet: "We will find jobs where we can work from home, Duh." Felix said as if she was the brainless one." I don't intend to take it back, and I guess you can put clothes on for the wedding." He said then frowned as she knocked his hook away, "Hey, that's abuse to the disabled."
Alexithymiaa: "Kinda hard to be in a band if I don't ever leave the house." She said in a sing songy voice, picking up a faux leather jacket and beginning to check sizes. "You guess? You better believe I will drive myself and Cadence up a wall looking for the perfect dress. That's why I'm so not ready to start in on any of that stuff. It will just be me driving everyone crazy."-
Covet: "Oh right... the band, I forgot about them too." Felix said then scoffed, "Good, you drive her up the wall, because I'm going to love whatever it is you wear, so I will not be helpful at all." He said shrugging it all off because it was no biggie to him.
Alexithymiaa: "You're not supposed to see it beforehand anyway. That's bad luck. Besides, I know better than to ask for advice on clothes with you. I could wear a paper bag and you drool. Because you're easy." She said with a wide beaming grin, pushing a jacket into his hands. "Try this on."-
Covet: "Bad luck doesn't apply to me." He told her then nodded his head, because she was right about that much at least, "You're just as easy." He mumbled as he took the jacket from her and put his arms through the sleeves.
Alexithymiaa: -She set her giant shoe down and pulled the front lapels closed on his chest, looking it over. "Am not. We established this when you gave in first, remember?" She asked, walking around him to look at the shoulders. "I think this looks really good on you."-
Covet: "I'm pretty sure you gave in first. I don't remember giving in first." He said looking at her as he was primped up by her. "Cool, let's get this one then. I want to go look at you try things on."
Alexithymiaa: "Did not. You did. And it took literally just trying on lingerie to get you to cave, too. Because you're easy." She turned and grabbed the giant shoe again, hugging it to her chest. "I'll try these on?"-
Covet: "Nope, I think that means you caved because you're the one who purchased the lingerie with no point and purpose, if I remember correctly." He told her then looked at the boots, "I'm not even going to argue, because you're going to bring them home with us anyways."
Alexithymiaa: "There was plenty of point and purpose. I got rid of older things that didn't fit anymore and I bought new stuff to replace it. Makes perfect sense. It's not my fault you have no self control." She stuck her tongue out at him and walked back to the wall of shoe boxes to find her size, sitting down to pull her own boots off. "This is what I'm comfortable trying on for now."-
Covet: "I like to think I had plenty of self control that night thank you very much." Felix said feeling offended. "I could have just picked you up and walked you right back to the bedroom and torn all of that off you. BUT.. I didn't"
Alexithymiaa: "You didn't because you knew that would mean you lost. And you know how we feel about losing. Also if you tore my brand new lingerie I'd have killed you, so there's that too." Lacing up the platform shoes, she climbed to her unsteady feet, putting her arms out for balance until she was stable. "How do they look?"-
Covet: "Doesn't change the fact that it renders your arguement invalid, because I did have self control. SO HA!" He looked at her in the boots, "You sure you don't need a helmet in case you fall over?

Alexithymiaa: -She lifted one foot at a time to deliberately walk, struggling a bit. "I just have to get used to them. Each pair of shoes is different. These are just... heavy." She walked in front of him, barely having to look up because of the stilt shoes. "You're so full of shit. Any bit of temptation and you squirm."-

Covet: "Okay, well, you're getting them though right?" Felix said as he watched her walk staying close by in case she fell. "Squirming is acceptable. Doing anything out of control, is not." He told her as he started making his way to the check out assuming she'd follow along in her stilts.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhuh..." She trailed off, walking up behind him to stop him from going to the register. Grabbing his hand, she pulled him to her, raising her brows. "I think you have more things to try on. Come on, I'll help you." Grabbing any random costume off the rack as she dragged him toward the back where the dressing rooms were. Between last night, the leather jacket and how empowering she felt when she was in tall shoes, now she was the easy one.-
Covet: "Oh.. okay..." He said raising an eyebrow, not getting it at first, then it all made sense as he was drug away for sexy times in the dressing room.
