Ralsei x Anon Short: Caffeine Edition

[spoiler]my first shot at doing a Ralsei POV, be gentle[/spoiler]


>Be in the flowershop, where Ralsei is currently at the local flower shop, talking to his boss, Asgore
>The two of them are walking around, having a conversation about how Ralsei was voted for employee of the month!
>...despite the fact that he was the only employee working in the shop aside from Asgore.
>Regardless, Anon was so proud when Ralsei told him about this, and rewarded him in kind by taking him out to his favorite restaurant and a movie he was really looking forward to for the past few weeks.
>”You've really brought this place back from the brink, Ralsei. I knew you was the perfect person to hire the moment you  walked into the door!”
>Ralsei can't help but smile and blush, looking down as he adjusted his sunhat
>”A-aw, it was nothing Asgore! I love working here with all the flowers… it's honestly a really peaceful and relaxing place to work. It feels like I'm working in my own garden!”
>As humble as the gote was, he did feel proud of himself secretly. He had introduced his own cleaning and plant care regiments, as well as his plans to organize things better than before
>Ralsei had also taken control of delivering flower shipments by driving Asgore's pickup all across town
>He was always exhausted after so much work when he came home, but Anon always made sure to make him feel relaxed and happy, just as he always does whenever Anon come home
>Ralsei was forever grateful for Anon… aside from Kris and Susie, Anon was the lightner that really made him see the best in life and what he could do and experience.
>Today was his day off, and he figured he would make sure Asgore was doing alright and pick up some flowers to plant across the front yard
>Perfect weather for it too!
>”Will that be all for today?”
>Ralsei nods, placing the plants and packets of seeds onto the counter neatly, As he begins to go for the money in his pockets, Asgore raises up his paw and shakes his head.
>”No need! Consider this on the house.” Asgore smiles as he began to put the seeds in a small bag.
>”Asgore…” Ralsei said raising his eyebrows, “You know we both agreed on not giving away stuff for free as often anymore…”
>Asgore then gave a hearty chuckle in response, shaking his head.
>”Do not worry, Ralsei! I've learned my lesson. Just consider this as a thank you for all that you've done here.”
>Ralsei then smiled up at Asgore as he took the bag and the plants.
>”Thank you.. I'll see you tomorrow!”
>”Of course! And please tell Anon I said hello!”
>”I will!”
>The two of them waved goodbye as Ralsei walked out of the shop and into his Mercedes, neatly storing his newly acquired items as he began the short drive back home.


>After getting home and getting the clothes and supplies he needs for gardening, he prepares himself to plant the plants on the border of the yard…
>Or at least he would, if he could find his gardening gloves
>The smol gote shuffled all around the house, looking for them as he grew more desperate and irritated
>He made his way upstairs to his and Anon's bedroom, looking under the bed and inside the dressers, until he found them on the top of the computer monitor
>”Ah, finally… wonder how they got here?” Ralsei mumbled to himself as he smiled, grabbing the gloves and preparing to put them on…
>Until his eyes settled on a black aluminum can beside the keyboard, with a really odd looking logo that seemingly resembled an ‘M’.
>...it was colored in his favorite colors!
>And it's already opened too…
>...He never saw this before in how long he's been in the Light World
>”Does Anon drink this…?” He wonders to himself, grabbing the can with his paws as he examines it
>Then, he gives it a small sip out of sheer curiosity
>...
>and with that
>his eyes dilate.



>be Anon, in the break room of your job, bantering with your friend and coworker, Logan, waiting to clock out for the day
>”-some bullshit man. He really should've won that fight.
>”Good thing I didn't spend money on that Payper View then. Got me a new game instead of watching that crap.”
>”Oh? What'd you pick up?”
>”I got that new Division game at a discount thanks to a friend.”
>”Really? I figured you'd get a more… uh, nonviolent game, considering your goat and all.”
>You smile and chuckle a bit, “Well, he doesn't necessarily have a problem with me playing the games. It's just he doesn't want to see or play them. I always let him know when I'm gonna be playing one of ‘those games’, so he doesn't walk in and get scarred for life or something.”
>”He really doesn't wanna give those games a shot?”
>”He doesn't even curse, dude. Besides, I won't force him or anything. If he ever wants to see or play ‘em, then that'll be on his ter-”
>Before you could finish your sentence, your phone begins to ring
>You look at the screen, recognizing the phone number as Ralsei's and quickly answering the call
>”Hello? What's up, hon-”
>”ANON”
>You jerk your head back at the sudden shout, growing increasingly worried
>”Wh-”
>”ANON HOLY SHIT, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT THIS.”
>You just stare ahead with a blank expression, eyes wide as you're now really worried.
>Meanwhile, Logan is just laughing his ass off, able to hear what Ralsei just said clear as day.
>You look at the phone for a moment, double checking the number to be sure it really is Ralsei
>sure enough, it is.
>...and he really did just curse.
>”Uh… uh, tell you about what-”
>”THIS DRINK ANON, THIS AMAZING MONSTER DRINK. IT TASTES SO GOOD AND I FEEL SO ENERGETIC AND LIKE I CAN DO ANYTHING!”
>oh fuck.
>”R...Rals, how in the hell did you drink something like that-”
>”IT WAS ON YOUR COMPUTER DESK AND I DRANK ALL OF IT SINCE MOST OF IT WAS STILL THERE AND I JUST FINISHED CLEANING THE HOUSE AND PLANTING THE FLOWERS AND STUFF AND NOW I'M GONNA MAKE US A PIE BECAUSE I'VE REALLY BEEN WANTING TO MAKE ONE OKAY BYE HONEY I LOVE YOU SEE YOU HOME SOON TAKE CARE EE-”
>Before you could even open your mouth to speak, he already hung up.
>All you can do is just stare at your phone, your friend pounding his fist paw onto the table, dying of laughter.



>After your break, you clock out and manage to get a ride home thanks to Logan. You notice that the front yard is well done… the borders neatly decorated with freshly potted plants of various types. When you walk back into your house, you see your loving hyperactive gote, completely crashed on the couch, a half eaten cake on the living room table
>You just can't help but smile, guessing right that Ralsei had crashed just before you called him to pick you up from work
>Kneeling down beside the tired gote,you kiss his forehead and slowly pick him up, holding him close as you walk upstairs to the bedroom
>As you do, your heart is instantly melted when your gote nuzzles into you, letting out a very soft bleat as he softly whispers your name afterwards.
>”Anon…~”
>You smile and kiss his head again.
>...
>You are never drinking or having any caffeine related items in your house ever again.
