  2. Just going to make it clear that the sentiment that zoo was only a salty echo chamber is a gross oversimplification. I know that it's such an easy and convenient scapegoat, but it's a poor choice to take the easy way of oversimplifying it to something that it's easier to hate and blame. It's also really easy to try to take the moral high ground and say that people should have left it when it changed without having any actual first hand experience of what happened in the zoo
  3. The zoo itself in the past few months has not been some salty echo chamber. After the initial server was deleted due to an admin's security issue, it actually stopped a lot of that. The zoo is not what exacerbated current problems. It has not been something that has exacerbated current problems for months

  7. And while Weir is also an easy scapegoat, and even easier to make cheap jabs at in regard to a server people are pretty misinformed on ("Probably because Weir isnโ€™t there lol"), this is something that seriously needs to stop. Like I said, I know he's such an easy scapegoat, but Weir was usually one of the general peacekeepers of the zoo. He rarely ever participated in drama, and he almost always stepped away when he got heated, and came back and apologized if he had said something wrong while he was heated(edited)
  8. but even those incidents were extremely rare
  9. While I can't say for sure on if Weir did or didn't do the anon comment, just as none of us can say for sure, Weir is also an easy scapegoat for the anon comment; but for the past few days, he's been thinking of leaving the zoo because he's looking forward to completely separating himself from URPG, and the zoo was just a big reminder of it. He's left now(edited)
  10. Weir also has very valid reasons to feel the way he does about Elysia; he wouldn't need to make up some petty bullshit. He has plenty of actual things he would have talked about if he'd had suddenly decided to get involved enough again to do an anon report
  11. So while I know blaming him for everything is an easy way to vent your frustrations, it's not healthy, and it's not right, and it's the kind of impassioned, vendetta'd outbursts that we need to stop
  12. If you want to present things in a more neutral way and with actual evidence vs. impassioned claims, you're perfectly free, but that kind of oversimplification and vicious, targeted remarks are exactly what got us here in the first place
  13. I don't know about you, but I'm so ready to actually be done with these kind of problems instead of just history repeating itself over and over again, and I'm sure you are too
