The Fleuret Family has many purposes, whether it is to provide you a group of loyal friends to socialize with, give you many opportunities for role-play, or just to belong. We are primarily a role-play oriented clan; however that does not mean we are STRICTLY a role-play clan.

Like many other clans, the Fleuret Family has two different types of role-play - public and private. We have set criteria for both types of role-play. The criteria are generally common sense and breaking them will obviously not earn you rewards. We also have different overall themes for both types of role-play, which will be described below.

PUBLIC
======

In public, our role-play revolves around a 'group of outcasts' sort of theme. Perhaps we could call ourselves a group of nomads, a roving clan/family, or whatever you would like to refer to it as.
lead by the mysterious tall woman who has been known to go by Luna, she set this roving tribe/clan up as she became disillusioned with the world as it is today, and decided to set up the old alliance between bandos, armadyl and saradomin followers.
of course, as it can be made up from a number of humans who have just been outcast, or joined for reasons such as love, revenge, Whatever it may be.

In public, we encourage our members to follow the rules set by the community, follow the lore created by runescape. We have fairly simple criteria that aid in protecting the clan's reputation. We simply ask that our members who like to mess around, invade other people's business, or (dare I say) troll do not do so in the name of Fleuret. This does nothing but cause people to think "Hey, he's a Fleuret and he's trolling! Therefore, all Fleurets are trolls!"
And to be perfectly honest, we don't like trolls or haters either, some of us hate the haters, troll the trolls - you have been warned.
When it comes to role-play skills, we encourage you to have an open mind to improve, and again referring to the paragraph above, a person is their own person, they don't represent the skill level of the clan. We have people who have Role-played for 10 years, some who are brand new.
We do accept different themes of roleplay; we believe that a romantic theme is just as much part as a fighting theme, as well as having a peaceful setting. We also ask you don't obsessively run around meta-gaming, fighting and generally upsetting peoples roleplay.

PRIVATE

In private, we let the de facto rules of roleplay go a little. We are much more lax on things such as lorebreak or overpowering. For obvious reasons, we aren't going to bring an AK-47 up in dis hood or be some omega demon with seven and a half arms (don't ask about the other half). Of course, messing around with each other will be fine amongst us as we won't have to worry about being suddenly blacklisted for having a little fun.
So this is how it goes, you can be whoever you want, whatever you want, we've met roleplayers who don't want to stick to the lore BY the letter, so we will allow you to roleplay in private on a different world, or in the citadel at set times. In response to the following statements up top, we do like you to have common sense, we don't want you to be something unbeatable or something totally out of the picture.
An example to what people wish to roleplay on here but cannot: neko, friendly werewolves and demons (cough) and dragons. we won't accept something like a black dragon cerebus vampyre werewolf hybrid! who's saradomin and zamoraks love child! and guthix is his bro!

We follow the wolf pack hierarchy, proposed by a few members, adding to the role-play feel of the clan, but we are NOT a furry-exclusive clan, and accept all interested members.

Alpha Male: No-One can stand up to the challenge. Very slight chance of this rank ever existing (It seems that all who achieve the position takes it for granted, and thus loses it.)

Stick around long enough and you might hear Luna talk of the Black Hand, they deserve mention here. The Black Hand is an elite handpicked group of fighters that deal with all the problems Fleuret ever has to deal with. They won't vacant the clan chat, as some of them are not one for people, the rest is keep the ace cards hidden away.

We LIKE to say we don't have many rules in Fleuret. We do ask that you keep in mind the rules set by Jagex. Encourage the rules of public roleplay, adhere to them and respect them.
With regards to how you treat others, we ask that you follow the quote "do unto others as you would have done unto yourself." Basically, if you start insulting clan members or roleplayers without a just cause then don't be surprised when we treat you the exact same way as you treat them.
With regards to clan chat behavior, we like everyone to kick back and have fun. We are mature enough to allow 'mature words' to slide in our clan, mature themes or whatever may be spoken. We expect you to handle these appropriately. If people are joking about themes you may deem inappropriate then we ask that you notify the most senior ranking member in the clan chat at that point - DO NOT kick off an unnecessary argument.
Remember that Fleuret is a group of people with various beliefs, faiths and sexual orientation. We ask that you respect this if they choose to disclose it with the clan.
As regards to activity, which is part of the topic in the next post, comes to your activity in the clan, we like you to be on a majority of the time, we like you to join in a majority of the time. We won't however, force you to join in.

Because we are not just restricted to roleplaying 24/7, we will find ourselves doing other stuff at times, however events are never mandatory. The citadel is recently being constructed because people want to roleplay there/it's annoying to see people try when others sit around, we don't ask for much - just that you put your bit in.
Events will always be strummed up if enough people want it, but if you want to make it a clan event, ask around or ask one of the beta's to run things.
