  1. >You are the teacher at the elementary school
  2. >You're not getting paid much but it seems you like this job
  3. >Maybe because you like to help children to study things, to learn something new.
  4. >You had a lot of students before
  5. >There were good ones, there were bullies
  6. >Some of them were just bad at studying but you showed them the right way
  7. >Some of them were lazy but you told them why studying is important and they started to study.
  8. >But this
  9. >This time you have some special student.
  10. >Her name is Twilight Sparkle
  11. >And she is dumb.
  12. >Dumb, stupid, lazy
  13. >A lot of words to say
  14. >She can't study because she doesn't know anything
  15. >And she doesn't want to know something because she's lazy
  16. >So lazy so she's not even listenning to you when you trying to explain her about how important studying is.
  17. >The class is not interested in her at all
  18. >If Twilight answers bad they don't say anything
  19. >If she answers correct they still don't say anything
  20. >Nothing
  21.
  22.
  23. >Here's another time you try to help her
  24. >You close the door into the class
  25. >Here goes first quesiton
  26. "Twilight, do you understand what I say?"
  27. >She nods
  28. >You repeated those questions so much you can't even say if there was a time when you didn't ask her
  29. >Here goes question number two
  30. "Why you don't want to study?"
  31. >"Because I won't need it"
  32. >You heard that a lot.
  33. "You will need it! Without studying good you won't have anything!"
  34. >"I don't care. I don't need it"
  35. >You take the chair and sit infront of her
  36. >You watch in those eyes
  37. >They're filled with indifference
  38. "Why do you think so?"
  39. >"I don't think so. I know this"
  40. >She's so young and already thinks that she knows everything
  41. >Somehow you started to think about how you was studying back at elementary.
  42. >And your study was... bad. Just like her.
  43.
  44. >You were lazy. Dumb. Just like her.
  45. >But at some lesson you watched at the blackboard and found something interesting.
  46. >That's how you started to study. Since that moment you were pretty good.
  47. >You didn't notice that you're staring at Twi for like 15 minutes.
  48. >"Well it seems you don't have anything to say to me. I gotta go."
  49. >She stands up and heading towards the door
  50. >You stand up and stopping her and turning her to yourself
  51. >She looks a bit scared but understands that you want to say something
  52. "Twilight. You need to start doing something with your studies. Things won't happen by themselves. I used to be like you back at my elementary school. I was lazy and didn't want to learn anything. But at some day everything has changed. So I want you to start studying. If not for me but for yourself!"
  53. >For some reason you felt like you want her to study becasue she's something important to you
  54. >Not like you're just a teacher
  55. >She watched at you for a minute or something
  56. >You can swear you saw something in her eyes. Some fire.
  57. >"You want to know why I don't want to do anything? I will tell you tommorow. Don't think you know everything!"
  58. >This was the first time ever she did something active.
  59. >You was scared
  60. >She went to the door and left you alone in the class
  61. >After she left the class you saw her running away.
  62. >Did you just make her cry?
  63. >A little girl that doesn't want to study?
  64. >First time in your whole life you do that
  65. >You feel bad.
  66. >For her and for yourself
  67. >You put on your jacket, take the bag and go home with sadness on your face
  68.
  69. >New day comes
  70. >For some reason you decided to wake up early
  71. >After a breakfast you watch TV for a few minutes
  72. >You put books and other stuff in the bag and then put on your jacket and go to school
  73.
  74. >School
  75. >You're sitting on your chair in the class waiting for students to come
  76. >There's not a lot of things to do so you're just reading some newspaper
  77. >Caught by newspaper you don't notice that already half of your students is in the class
  78. >You wake up and put newspaper down
  79. >What's the first lesson?
  80. >Maths
  81. >Lesson begins
  82. >You stand up infront of class
  83. "Good morning, students"
  84. >"Good morning, teacher!"
  85. "Sit down, please"
  86. >Students sit down and you're watching at the class
  87. >Everybody's here
  88. >You randomly point at some student
  89. >It's Trixie you're pointing at
  90. >You ask something easy
  91. "7 + 8 is...?"
  92. >"Fifteen"
  93. "Good"
  94. >Now you're pointing at Moondancer
  95. "5 + 12 is...?"
  96. >"S-seventeen..."
  97. "That's right"
  98. >You watch at the students and look for someone to ask
  99. >You see Sugarcoat playing with some toy
  100. "Sugarcoat. 8 + 23 is...?"
  101. >Sugarcoat can't answer. She was too distracted by playing toys
  102. >Students start to raise their hands
  103. >You wait till she answers
  104. >After a moment you see some hand raising from the end of the class
  105. >You're quite suprised.
  106. >Twilight Sparkle just raised the hand
  107. >You try to look not exited
  108. "Yes, Twilight?"
  109. >"Thirty one"
  110. "Correct"
  111. >The rest of the lesson is just being normal except for Twilight answering for a couple of times
  112. >Did the conversation yesterday make her study?
  113. >You don't know
  114.
  115. >Second lesson: Reading
  116. >Now it's the time to read
  117. >You give each student a text
  118. >Each a few pages long
  119. "Listen, students. I give you ten minutes to read the text and then I will ask you to retell it"
  120. >Students nod in agreement and start to read
  121. >You watch at the end of the class and see that even Twilight is reading
  122. >You're impressed now.
  123. >After a couple minutes you see somebody raising the hand
  124. "Yes, Trixie?"
  125. >"The Great and Powerful Trixie is ready to retell the text!"
  126. >She said it in her special voice that she uses to introduce herself to others
  127. >Trixie retells the text pretty good and you can't complain.
  128. >The next hand is Twilight.
  129. "You want to retell the text, Twilight?"
  130. >"Yes"
  131. >She comes to you and puts the text on your table
  132. >Twilight retells the text...quite bad.
  133. >You ask her to read it again and come in 5 minutes.
  134. >Other students retell their texts neither bad nor good
  135. >Some need to retell the text again like Twilight
  136. "Twilight, come here"
  137. >She comes to you again
  138. >Retells the text
  139. >Pretty good this time
  140. "Well done, Twilight. Sit down."
  141. >The rest of the lesson you read some interesting tale but it seems boring for students
  142.
  143. >Lesson three: Writing
  144. >Someone smart placed writing after reading
  145. >For some reason you don't like to make students write after reading
  146. >But work is the work
  147. >Today's the day when your students need to show you their knowledge of grammar
  148. "Today you are going the test, students"
  149. >The class sighs
  150. >The test is just two pages of text where you need to fill gaps in words
  151. >And that's it
  152. >Test lasts a whole lesson so you can have a little more rest
  153. >After 10 minutes of filling the gaps Twilight comes to you
  154. >Everything done right without any mistakes
  155. "Sit down"
  156. >After her there's coming Moondancer; her work is done well too
  157. >Students one by one come to you and give their works.
  158. >Lesson ends.
  159.
  160. >Fourth lesson: History
  161. >Today you're telling your students about Christopher Columbus and his discovery of America
  162. "Today we are talking about Columbus. Who knows what did Columbus do?"
  163. >Moondancer raises the hand
  164. "Yes, Moondancer?"
  165. >"H-he discovered A-America..."
  166. "That's correct. Well done."
  167. >Why she always stutters?
  168. "So, let me tell you about this more. In 1492 Christopher Columbus started his voyage to undiscovered lands..."
  169. >For at least 15 minutes you were telling them about how was America discovered and etc.
  170. >Then you asked a couple of questions and lesson ended
  171.
  172.
  173. >Fifth lesson: Painting
  174. >Usually teachers in elementary don't teach how to draw but for some reason you do.
  175. >Lesson begins
  176. >It's one of your favourite lessons because it's the lesson where your students can show you what's on their mind
  177. >Actually you need to teach them how to draw but you like to give them theme for painting and watch how they draw
  178. "Today's theme - morning in the pinewood. Show me how do you imagine it. Maybe it's a part of pinewood where some people having a picnic or something else
  179. >You sit down on your chair and decide to draw something too
  180. >You begin with marking where you're going to draw trees
  181. >While drawing your picture you stand up sometimes and watch what others draw
  182. >Trixie's drawing something like stage between a couple of pinetrees.
  183. >There is a person on this stage. Trixie herself.
  184. >Moondancer is drawing a campfire nearby pinetrees and the sun on the background. Looking good.
  185. >Octavia is drawing some person with cello standing among trees.
  186. >Twilight is drawing... something dark. And snowy.
  187. >You watch at Twilights picture
  188. >She notices it
  189. >"Morning can be dark. You didn't say anything about what season it is. So it's winter"
  190. >She's pleased with herself
  191. >At the end of the lesson everybody give their works to you and leave the class
  192. "Bye, students!"
  193. >The students leave the class leaving you alone
  194. >Or not alone
  195. >Twilight is still in the class
  196. >You remember things you were talking about yesterday
  197. >She has to tell you why she doesn't want to study
  198. >Or why she didn't want to study because today she was really active
  199. >"Teacher, it seems you wanted to talk with me..."
  200. "Yes. Actually, you have to explain me why you don't want to study but today you impressed me a lot"
  201. >"I-it's h-hard to explain..."
  202. >She starts to stutter
  203. >Like Moondancer
  204. >"My parents moved to the other c-city for work and left me with my aunt Cadence"
  205. >You know that
  206. >"She's working herself to death as a teacher. I don't want to be like her; I don't want her to be like this."
  207. >And that's it?
  208. >That's ridiculous
  209. >You think that it's strange.
  210. >You see tears in her eyes
  211. "You're doing it wrong, Twi."
  212. >Did you just really call her like that?
  213. "Your aunt would work herself like this at any work because you're living alone. You'd help her more if you start to study better."
  214. >You see more tears in her eyes but those tear are not tears of sadness, they're tears of understanding.
  215. "Go home, Twilight. You done well today"
  216. >Smile appears on her face and she is going out of class.
  217. >You feel nice.
  218.
  219. >You're in the class
  220. >Waiting for students to come
  221. >Reading newspaper again
  222. >This time you see them come in and stand up
  223. >First lesson today is Reading
  224. >Last time you gave your students homework about tale you were reading
  225. >They had to write their feelings about any character of the tale
  226. >That's pretty easy because they can be only good or bad
  227. "Good morning, students!"
  228. >"Good morning, teacher!"
  229. "Sit down, please."
  230. >They sit down
  231. >You point at Twilight
  232. "Twilight, what did you write?"
  233. >She wrote about main hero of the tale who was good and helped some people
  234. >She reads you about the hero and good things he done during the tale
  235. "Well done, Twilight. Sit down"
  236. >Next you ask Sugarcoat
  237. >Unlike Twilight, she hasn't anything at her table
  238. "Sugarcoat? You didn't do your homework?"
  239. >"Y-yes, I didn't."
  240. "Why?"
  241. >"I forgot to do it."
  242. >Acutally, Sugarcoat almost everytime does her homework, so you can't be mad at her
  243. "I won't do anything this time but Sugarcoat, you need to understand that you have to be more careful next time"
  244. >You point at Trixie
  245. >"Trixie did her homework and ready to read it!"
  246. >Trixie wrote about a villain and bad things he did
  247. "Good job, Trixie. You can sit down"
  248. >You come back to your table and take another tale
  249. >Now you need to listen to all of your students
  250. >You give the book to the student at the first desk from the right
  251. >It's Sour Sweet desk
  252. >She starts to read
  253. >Each student needs to read one page of text
  254. >After reading a page student gives book to the other desk
  255. >"Once upon a time..."
  256. >As she starts to read you sit down at your desk and start to listen
  257. >Your job here is to listen how students pronounce the words and how fast they can read
  258. >Sour Sweet was reading with cute voice but at the end of the text she said something to you in slightly angry voice
  259. >You don't pay attention
  260. >She didn't make mistakes and pronounced words correctly
  261. >So did the others
  262. >Lesson ends.
  263.
  264. >Break between lessons
  265. >You sit in the class and wait for lesson to begin
  266. >Next lesson is Maths
  267. >At the break Twilight comes to you with her homework
  268. >"C-can I ask you?"
  269. "Yes, of course"
  270. >Last lesson you gave students homework, they had to do sums at home
  271. >She shows you her workbook
  272. >"Did I make any mistakes?"
  273. >Everything is correct
  274. >Of course it's correct she did it at home
  275. "No, everything's fine"
  276. >She smiles and goes away
  277. >Lesson begins
  278. >You need to give them a test
  279. "OK children. Today you're writing a test."
  280. >You give each student a list of sums
  281. >They have 5 minutes to do them
  282. >5 minutes pass pretty quickly
  283. >Students give you their works and sit down at the desks
  284. >Lesson continues without anything special
  285.
  286. >Other lessons passed so quickly you didn't even notice
  287. >That's boring.
  288. >As always at the end of the day you stay with Twilight and talk with her
  289. >That's kind of tradition already
  290. >"Did I pass this test, teacher?"
  291. >She points at stack of papers at your table
  292. >Maths test
  293. >She acutally made a lot of mistakes in it
  294. >Half of sums were right
  295. "You did correctly only the half of the test, Twilight."
  296. >Her face gets sad
  297. "There's no need to worry, Twilight. Everyone makes mistakes. You'll become better soon, I know!"
  298. >Why are you even trying to help her?
  299. >She smiles and thanks you
  300. "Bye, Twilight!"
  301. >"Bye, teacher."
  302.
  303. >Evening
  304. >You're at home
  305. >Watching TV after school work
  306. >You think about a lot of things
  307. >For example, Twilight Sparkle
  308. >And what will she do.
  309. >Does she need to stay after classes when she started to study?
  310. >Because last time she just asked you about test results and then left
  311. >Somebody knocks on the door
  312. >Your doorbell is broken so you put a note on your door for people to knock hard
  313. >If it's somebody who wants to sell you something - you're going to hit him
  314. >You hate those guys
  315. >Can't they find another job?
  316. >Despite bad expectations you open a door with smile
  317. >It's not the selling guy
  318. >It's Twilights aunt
  319. >Cadence
  320. "Hello! I didn't expect to see you. Come in! Welcome!"
  321. >"Hello mister Anon! Thank you"
  322. >She comes in
  323. >You go to the kitchen
  324. "I'll make a coffee for you! Go to the room and sit down at the table!"
  325. >You hope you left one more chair near the table
  326. >You take a big plate and place two cups of coffee and a few cookies
  327. "What did bring you here?"
  328. >That's actually interesting
  329. >Why did she come to your home?
  330. >Maybe something happened to Twilight?
  331. >"I came to talk about Twilight study"
  332. "Something's wrong?"
  333. >"No, it's actually good, she finally started to study but..."
  334. "What happened?"
  335. >"She started to act a bit strange. She sits in her room and reading a lot of school books like maths or some tale. And she always writes down something. Her room is just filled with papers.
  336. >That impresses you. She really started to learn things. Maybe a bit too hard.
  337. >"Today she came to home with depressed face..."
  338. >Oh, you know why she's sad. The test.
  339. >"She took a lot of blank papers and started to do sums. It was like 10 or 15 lists of sums. I hardly stopped her."
  340. >She took it too serious, did she?
  341. >"I need to go to my job right now but I can't let her be home alone. She'll kill herself with this work!"
  342. >Oh no. You hope she will not say what you think.
  343. >"I need you to help me, mister Anon."
  344. >No no no no no no no no no no
  345. >"Can you please come to my home and stay with her for a few hours till I come?"
  346. >Shit.
  347. >It's not like you don't like this idea of staying with Twilight. She's a nice student after all.
  348. >But you don't want to have such an influence at her studies.
  349. >You can't say no for some reason
  350. "Yes, of course"
  351. >"Thank you so much!"
  352. >Cadence goes out of room and closes the door, waiting for you to change clothes
  353. >You won't go to Twilights home in your home pants, right?
  354. >You put on your jeans, t-shirt and a black hoodie
  355. >And you need your bag
  356. >Cadence is waiting for you at the door
  357. >TV is off, lights are off. Time to go.
  358. >You come out of the room and go outside
  359. >When you come out to outside Cadence throws something in the pocket of your bag and goes fast to her car
  360. >It's good you have yours because it'll be really ashame to make her drive you to Twilight
  361. >You watch what was thrown into your pocket
  362. >Money
  363. >It's like $15
  364. >Now you feel bad because she thought you need to be paid
  365. >But also you feel good because it's money
  366. >Everybody love money
  367. >You get into your car and start it.
  368.
  369. >Cadence gave you an address, the key and things that need to be done at home
  370. >The last one contains washing the dishes and other stuff
  371. >Here you are. Twilight's home.
  372. >After a few minutes you're standing infront of the door.
  373. >You open the door
  374. >Lights in lobby are off
  375. >You see lights on in the next door
  376. >And sound of somebody writing with pencil
  377. >She's doing it again.
  378. >You close the front door and come closer to the door where lights are on.
  379. >You listen closely and hear Twilight groan with despair
  380. >It seems she's trying really hard
  381. >You open the door
  382. "Hello, Twilight"
  383. >She scares and literally jumps off the chair
  384. >"Teacher?!"
  385. "Don't worry. Your aunt asked me to sit with you for a few hours while she's working"
  386. >Twilight still looks scared
  387. >She didn't expect you to come
  388. "Actually, she said that you don't need to study at home that much."
  389. >She frowns
  390. >"I want to understand. But I can't."
  391. "Why?"
  392. >"I missed a lot of lessons because I didn't want to study and now I'm like far behind everyone in the class"
  393. >Well that's kind of true
  394. >Almost everyone in class did maths test right
  395. >Only she didn't do it right
  396. "Put your papers away and take a rest for 30 minutes. I will explain you how to do some of those sums"
  397. >"R-really?"
  398. "Yes. Now lie down on the bed and take a rest. I'll go wash dishes."
  399. >You making sure that Twilight isn't doing anything and go to the kitchen
  400. >Wow. That's a lot of dishes.
  401. >After 15 minutes of washing things you watch next thing on the list.
  402. >You need to wash floors. You've done it already.
  403. >Next thing is... cook? That can wait.
  404. >Another thing. You need to sort spices in the kitchen cabinet
  405. >That sounds good
  406. >You need to sort them into 3 parts : spices for meat, spices for soup and spices for fish.
  407. >You're having a little problem while sorting
  408. >Some spices can be sorted in two or even three groups
  409. >You waste 15 minutes of your time sorting those spices into groups they fit better
  410. >You spent 30 minutes doing work at home except cooking.
  411. >Time to help Twilight
  412.
  413. >Twilight is already sitting at the chair and waiting for you
  414. >"I am doing maths. Will you help?"
  415. "Yes, of course"
  416. >You sit down near her and she gives you a paper with sums
  417. >She points at the first sum. 36 : 5.
  418. >"How do i do this?"
  419. >She doesn't know decimals.
  420. "Look here"
  421. >You write down 36 : 5
  422. "To divide 36 by 5 you need to do a long divison"
  423. >"What's that"
  424. >You write 36 divided by 5 using long divison
  425. >"Oh, that thing"
  426. "First you try to divide 3 by 5. You can see it's not possible."
  427. >"Yes"
  428. "Then you try to divide 36 by 5. For this you need to get 36 by multiplying something by 5."
  429. >Twilight starts to think
  430. >"There's no such a number that can give 36 when multiplied by 5."
  431. "Right. So you need to get number that is close to 36."
  432. >"35? 7 times 5 is 35."
  433. "Right. So you write 35 below 36. Then you subtract 35 from 36. You get 1."
  434. >"Yes. What's next?"
  435. "You can't divide 1 by 5. But you can't add some other number to 1 because there's no other numbers."
  436. >"So what do I do?"
  437. "If there is no numbers and you can't divide this number you need to add 0 near it. So you get 10. 10 can be divided by 5. You get 2."
  438. >"So, the answer is 72?"
  439. "No. After adding 0 to the number that can't be divided you put a comma in the answer. So after 7 we write a comma and then 2. 7,2."
  440. >"I got it!"
  441. "Well done. Do some like this and I will go to kitchen and make some food"
  442. >"OK"
  443. >You move to the kitchen and think what can you cook.
  444. >In the list it says "Anything that is delicious"
  445. >You decide to make some soup with meat.
  446. >First you take some potatoes and peel them.
  447. >You peel potatoes and put them into a little pan
  448. >While potatoes being cooked you take meat and start to cut in into pieces
  449. >"Teacher, come here, I've done them!"
  450. >You put away the knife and go to Twilight
  451. >She shows you a list of sums
  452. >They're done correct
  453. >Next you decide to teach her how to multiply things
  454. >After the explanation you go back to kitchen
  455. >Potatoes are cooked
  456. >You cook the meat and other ingredients
  457. >You put everthing in one pan and wait for it to be ready.
  458. >Twilight calls for you again
  459. >You come and see her having other paper of sums
  460. >Now they're a bit harder
  461. >They include subtraction, addition, multiplication and division.
  462. >You explain Twilight that first she needs to divide numbers then multiply and add, at the end she needs to subtract.
  463. >And you explain thing about brackets
  464. >You come back to kitchen and watch at the soup.
  465. >Not ready yet.
  466. >You decide to make some tea for you and Twilight while she's doing maths.
  467. >Soup will be ready in 15 minutes
  468. >You bring tea to Twilight
  469. >"Thank you, teacher!"
  470. >It seems she's really glad that you helped her with maths.
  471. >After drinking the tea you think that soup is ready and go to the kitchen
  472. >Twilight goes with you
  473. >You take a spoon and give soup a try
  474. >Delicious
  475. >You take two bowls, for you and Twilight
  476. >"You can cook, Teacher?"
  477. "Yeah, a bit"
  478. >You bring two bowls with soup to the table
  479. >Twilight of course has less soup than you
  480.
  481. >After eating soup Twilight asks you to read some tales with her
  482. >"Please, Teacher! They're interesting!"
  483. >She gives you the book with tales from different writers
  484. >You sit on the couch
  485. >Twilight jumps on the couch and sits really close to you
  486. >Nearly lies on you
  487. >You start to read the tale
  488.
  489. >After reading four or five tales you see something fall on the book
  490. >Her glasses
  491. >You didn't pay attention to them at all
  492. >You always remember her in glasses and never saw her without them
  493. >She's lying on you
  494. >You turn your head to her
  495. >She's...sleeping?
  496. >You stand up quiet for Twilight not to wake up
  497. >You take Twilight into your arms and bring her to her room
  498. >Before going away you turn all lights off
  499. >Time to take all your stuff and go back home
  500.
  501. >You're home
  502. >Finally the day ends.
  503. >As you come home you fall into your bed
  504. >You feel tired
  505. >But at the same time you feel good.
  506. >Time to sleep.
  507.
  508. >You're at school
  509. >Sitting at your table as always
  510. >Getting ready for the lesson
  511. >First lesson is Reading
  512. >You've brought a book with a lot of tales and stories in it
  513. >Lesson begins
  514. "Good morning, students!"
  515. >"Good morning, teacher!"
  516. >You decide to do the same thing you did last lesson.
  517. >You give the book to Sour Sweet. She needs to read one page and give the book to other student
  518. >She starts to read
  519. >Her voice sounds... starnge.
  520. "Sour Sweet, stop. What's with your voice?"
  521. >"I have a sore throat"
  522. >You allow Sour Sweet not to read.
  523. >You decide to choose a student for reading
  524. >Your finger points at Moondancer
  525. >She looks scared a bit but takes the book and starts to read
  526. >"In t-the distant l-land..."
  527. >Even though she's stuttering you let her read more and decide to let her read untill the end of the lesson
  528. >For some reason you like like when she speaks like that
  529. >That's not OK but you don't care
  530. >The lesson ends pretty quickly
  531. >Break
  532. >Next lesson is Maths and you're preparing your book and other stuff
  533. >Lesson didn't being but Moondancer comes into class
  534. "Yes, Moondancer?"
  535. >"I wanted to ask you, t-teacher"
  536. >Moondancer doesn't ask you something often
  537. "Yes?"
  538. >"Why did you ask me to read more?"
  539. >This. You don't know what to answer, actually.
  540. >"And you looked at me l-like something's w-wrong"
  541. >Wait
  542. >Did you watch at her for a full lesson?
  543. >You didn't even notice
  544. "I was j-just really interested in your r-reading..."
  545. >"Were you?"
  546. "Yeah, I just wondered why you-"
  547. >"Stutter a lot?.."
  548. >She started to speak faster and looked at you with suspicious eye.
  549. "Yes. That's why I made you read more. And it seems that I did the right thing!"
  550. >She started to stutter less, so that has to work.
  551. >"Oh. I didn't even notice. Thank you, teacher!"
  552. >Wow. That was pretty easy.
  553.
  554. >Lesson beings
  555. >You write a few sums on the blackboard for students to do.
  556. >When you finish writing the sums you sit down and watch at the class
  557. >Somebody is missing
  558. >Sour Sweet and Octavia
  559. "Where's Sour Sweet and Octavia?"
  560. >Students say that parents took Sour Sweet back home. Octavia's parents allowed her to go with Sour.
  561. >First who comes to you with list of sums is Twilight
  562. >13 out of 15 sums done right.
  563. >You point Twilight at her mistakes and explain how to not make them again
  564. >She asks for a few more sums for herself
  565. >You write 5 more sums for her and she's going back to her desk
  566. >Other students come one by one to you and you explain each of them how to do things
  567. >Except for Trixie
  568. >She did everything correct
  569. >"Great and Powerful Trixie never makes mistakes!"
  570. >Other part of the lesson goes on without any accidents
  571. >Lesson ends.
  572.
  573. >Break
  574. >Twilight comes to you
  575. >Probably to ask you about maths resluts
  576. >"Teacher, may I ask?"
  577. "Yes, of course"
  578. >"I wanted to know about what you were talking with Moondancer last break?"
  579. >Oh god.
  580. >Does this need to happen in one day?
  581. "I just wanted to help her with her reading."
  582. >"So, I'm not the only one you're helping to study"
  583. >What?
  584. >She said this almost whispering and with such dissapointment in her voice
  585. >Was she upset because I helped Moondancer?
  586. >That's nonsense!
  587. >Well, you didn't really mean to help Moondancer. But you did help so you can count that as a help.
  588. "What do you mean?"
  589. >"Nothing."
  590. >She starts to leave
  591. "Stop! Come back here!"
  592. >She comes to you
  593. "What's wrong?"
  594. >"I-I j-just..."
  595. >You see tears in her eyes
  596. >Holy crap. Not this not now.
  597. "I will need you to stay after the lessons. Now let's forget everything that happened and talk about that later, OK?"
  598. >"Y-yes."
  599.
  600. >Lesson beings
  601. >Maths
  602. >Twilight seems to look calm
  603. >You don't want her to cry at the lesson
  604. >You don't want her to cry at all.
  605. >Today you need to do some equations with your students
  606. >After explaining students some simple things like how to find minuend or something you ask them to do like 15 equations
  607. >Students are not even suprised that you gave them a lot of work again.
  608. >Well, that's how you do it.
  609. >Twilight is shaking a bit while writing
  610. >Her tears didn't fade away
  611. >Trixie comes to you and scares you by screaming that she did the equations right in your ear
  612. >"Trixie has done her equations and she is absolutely sure that they're correct!"
  613. >You think she's going too far with her announcements
  614. >Trixie's work is actually good, no mistakes but a few blots making work look not perfect
  615. >She promises to write better next time
  616. >After a few students here comes Twilight
  617. >She snuffles and wipes her tears
  618. >"H-here."
  619. >You expect to see a work without any mistakes
  620. >But there's literally two of fifteen done right.
  621. >You have to say that. Or you're not teacher but just a guy who looks like teacher.
  622. "Twilight. They're not done right. I am waiting you after the lessons."
  623. >Tears appear in her face again.
  624. >Your heart hurts. You just can't see her crying over a some maths test.
  625. >Plus she's sad about things happened at the break
  626. >You feel guilty
  627. >After a few more students lesson ends
  628. >Other lessons pass pretty quickly because nothing interested happened.
  629.
  630. >Twilight is in the class waiting for you to start saying something
  631. >You have to start or you will stay here for like an hour and she'll go away
  632. "What's wrong, Twilight?"
  633. >She stares at you, her eyes wet
  634. >"I-I thought I am s-special f-f-for you.."
  635. >Here are tears
  636. >"I wanted you to h-help m-me..."
  637. >Did she really think that you have to help only her?
  638. >Why'd she think like that?
  639. "Twilight. Listen. I am a teacher. You are my student. Moondancer is my student."
  640. >She lifts up her head and watch at you.
  641. >Face covered with tears
  642. >She's crying without making any sounds.
  643. >Or you didn't notice.
  644. "I am a teacher and I have to help my students. Whoever they are, I am the one who will guides them. So I do with you, so I did with Moondancer.
  645. >She watches at you with understanding
  646. "I hope you understand me, Twilight. I don't know what happened to you but I hope you will not be upset any--"
  647. >While you're speaking Twilight starts to sob and rushes to hug you
  648. >"Sorrysorrysorrysorry, forgive me, teacher!"
  649. >She hugs you tight and crying in your shirt
  650. >You hope there's not a lot of people nearby class because Twilight is crying pretty loud
  651. "Sorry for what?"
  652. >"I made you feel bad!"
  653. >She still hugging you and keeping her face in your shirt
  654. >But did you feel bad?
  655. >You felt guilty a bit.
  656. >But you'd feel like this even if any student would act like that
  657. >Almost any.
  658. >Or not.
  659. "Come on now, Twilight. Everything's OK."
  660. >She sniffles and wiping her tears
  661. >Her eyes are still a bit wet.
  662. >"D-do you forgive m-me?"
  663. >You can't say that there's no reason for her to apologize because if you will say this she'll start to cry again
  664. "Yes, of course"
  665. >Tears appear on her face
  666. >But now, they're tears of joy.
  667.
  668. >After Twilight is finally calm you start the conversation again
  669. "So, now about your maths test"
  670. >You take her test from the table.
  671. >It's easy to understand that she wrote it bad because she was worried a lot.
  672. >You tear it into pieces.
  673. "I allow you to write it again."
  674. >"R-really?! Thank you!"
  675. >You give her blank test and she starts to work.
  676. "Don't be so fast, you have enough time."
  677. >She slowes down her writings and looks deeply into the test.
  678. >You see that she's not understanding something.
  679. >But you're not going to help. She has to do it herself.
  680. >After 20 - 25 minutes of thinking and writing Twilight comes to you with test.
  681. >It's done better than her first try but still it has mistakes.
  682. >You pick up a pencil to fix her mistakes but suddenly door to the class opens
  683. >You see a familiar face
  684. >Cadence.
  685. >"Moondancer told me that you're here, Twilight. Oh, hi, mister Anon! You're helping Twi, right?"
  686. "Yes I am. She's doing well. What brought you here?"
  687. >Cadence comes closer to you
  688. >"It seems I have to work at night again, mister Anon. You understand what I mean, right?"
  689. >She's smiling to you and comes more closer.
  690. >Cadence's holding something in her hand.
  691. >"If you want, you can take her to your place, mister. I'd come in a few hours."
  692. >Taking Twilight to your home would be... nice.
  693. >You can explain her how to do equations and other maths.
  694. >You also can speak with her a lot and she'll get happier.
  695. >Cadence comes to your bad and slightly touches it and suddenly comes to hug Twilight
  696. >"Be a good girl and don't disappoint teacher!"
  697. >"Of course!"
  698. >It seems Twilight is really glad to see her aunt.
  699. "I can take Twilight to my home while you're working, Cadence."
  700. >"Thank you very much, mister Anon."
  701. >She gives you a smile then checks her watch and says goodbye to you two.
  702. >Time to go home. With Twilight.
  703. "Take your stuff, Twilight. We're going to my place."
  704. >"Awesome!"
  705. >She's really glad.
  706. >Well, same thing with you.
  707. >You two come out of school to your car
  708.
  709.
  710. >Home.
  711. >Twilight is standing behind you, watching how you open the door
  712. >You turn on the lights, take your shoes off and head to your room
  713. "Sir here, Twilight."
  714. >You point at the chair near the table
  715. >"Can I look around? Pleeeeease?"
  716. "Do you really want to? I mean, there's nothing interesting..."
  717. >"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease"
  718. "Eeh. OK. If you want to."
  719. >"Thank you"
  720. >She stands up from the chair and comes to a bookshelf.
  721. >While she examines books you go to kitchen to make some tea
  722. >Tea is ready and you bring it to the room
  723. >You see Twilight trying to get some book.
  724. >But she can't reach it. Bookshelf is higher than she is.
  725. >"C-could you help, teacher?"
  726. "Yeah, sure."
  727. >You come closer and Twilight points at the book she wants.
  728. >You give it to her.
  729. >"What's this?"
  730. "Franz Kafka. The Metamorphosis"
  731. >"Metamor-- what?"
  732. "Transforamiton."
  733. >"Aah."
  734. "Character turns into something."
  735. >"Got it. Can I read this book?"
  736. >You're not sure if she'll understand.
  737. "Are you sure? Let's get over with your maths and then talk about other books, Twilight."
  738. >She frowns a bit but then agrees and you sit at the table with two cups of tea
  739. >You start to explain her what equations she did wrong.
  740. >It's evening outside
  741. >For a moment you cast a glance at the window.
  742. >What a beautiful evening.
  743. >You, Twilight and chill conversations about something easy.
  744. >You wish that evening last forever.
  745.
  746. >Last evening was nice
  747. >You helped Twilight with her maths and explained everything
  748. >She did some another test and you let her go with Cadence
  749. >Twilight really wanted to take that Franz Kafka book
  750. >You've read it already so there's no problem
  751. >Also she asked to give her that Alexander Blok poem collection
  752. >Reading some foreign literature is good.
  753. >It's nice that she got those books because you gave students a task to write about character from another book
  754. >Time to go to school.
  755.
  756. >School
  757. >First lesson is Reading
  758. >lesson begins
  759. >You decide to ask Twilight because it'd be interesting to listen to her
  760. "Good morning, students!"
  761. >"Good morning, teacher!"
  762. >You point at Twilight
  763. "Twilight stand up please and read us your homework."
  764. >"T-teacher, can I answer later, please?"
  765. >She's trying to hide some piece of paper
  766. "Why?"
  767. >"I d-don't feel good so I want to answer after a few students answer so I can focus on my answer."
  768. >Judging by piece of paper in her hands she's not quite ready for the lesson but you give her a chance
  769. "If you want so, Twilight. Sugarcoat, can you answer?"
  770. >"Yes. I am going to tell about Robin Hood and what he did"
  771. >While Sugarcoat is reading her work you cast a glance on Twilight's desk and see that she's furiously writing something
  772. >Sugarcoat's work wasn't bad so you just tell her to sit down
  773. >You see Twilight is not ready so you decide to ask some another student
  774. >Vinyl Scratch.
  775. >She's listening to music again
  776. "Vinyl!"
  777. >She's putting her little headphones down
  778. >"Yeah, wha?"
  779. >She's always acting like this but you're not mad about that
  780. >Despite her behavior she's having strong "B" almost at every subject
  781. "Read us your homework."
  782. >"Oh, yeah. Wait a second"
  783. >She's standing up with her workbook
  784. "What are you going to tell us about?"
  785. >"I wrote about Optimus Prime!"
  786. "Well let's lis-- Wait that's not a book!"
  787. >Did she really wrote about Transformers?
  788. >"Oops. I guess I was too distracted yesterday."
  789. >Well, it'd be interesting to listen about Optimus Prime.
  790. "Fine, you can read it but don't think you'll get a good mark for it."
  791. >And she started to read
  792. >It acutally wasn't that bad as you thought
  793. >She even used some epithets
  794. >But she almost after every two sentences added something like "and then he shoots and everything BOOM WHAM"
  795. >Or "and after this he just WHOOSH and hits everyone"
  796. >After two minutes of reading she ends and sits down.
  797. "Well done but if you wrote about a character from book it'd be A. But for now it's B."
  798. >"Thanks!"
  799. >She shows you thumbs up and continues to listen to music
  800. >You see Twilight ended her writings and waiting for you to ask her
  801. "Twilight, are you ready to answer?"
  802. >"Y-yes"
  803. >Even from another part of the class you can see that things on her piece of paper are unreadable
  804. >She tried to begin
  805. >"I-I've read Kafka's story called Metamorphosis..."
  806. >Then she started to read something and failed after two words.
  807. "You stay after classes, Twilight."
  808. >She nods and sits down.
  809. >The rest of the lesson goes without anything interesting
  810.
  811. >Next lesson is Maths
  812. >You've decided to spend whole lesson on doing equations and other things instead of explaining something new
  813. >Students have to know everything you've taught them well especially when it comes to maths
  814. >You write task on the blackboard for your students
  815. >Task is written and you watch at the students
  816. >Everyone is doing their equations
  817. >Somebody is doing them fast, somebody is thinking on every step
  818. >And you see Twilight is having problems
  819. >As a teacher you're pretty sure when your student is having a problem
  820. >It can be seen in the eyes
  821. >Lesson comes to an end and still nobody has given the work to you
  822. >Here comes... Moondancer?
  823. >"H-here's my work, teacher."
  824. >You take the work and gesture her to sit down at her desk
  825. >Work is done pretty well
  826. >Better than always, acutally
  827. >You check the work one more time and find it's done correct
  828. "Well done, Moondancer. "A"."
  829. >She literally jumps up a bit filled with joy
  830. >"Thank you!"
  831. >She's really happy
  832. >Well, she should be because she is not good at maths and her getting "A" is really impressive.
  833. >The lesson ends and you ask students to give their works to you
  834. >Most of people in the class stand up and give you their works and go to a break.
  835. >A few stay at the class a little bit longer and do last equations.
  836. >The last student is Twilight.
  837. >She's shaking a bit
  838. >You try to look into her eyes from other side of the class
  839. >Even though you're pretty far away you can see that she's having troubles.
  840. >You come close to her
  841. >she notices it and gives you the work
  842. >A few tears in her face
  843. >You can't say anything as she comes out of class pretty quickly
  844. >You check her work and see that there's a lot of mistakes and only one of all equations is done right.
  845.
  846. >Next lessons passing pretty fast
  847. >You decided not to ask Twilight anymore
  848. >All lessons ended and here you are alone in the class with Twilight.
  849. >She's sitting at the desk and waiting for you to say something.
  850. "Twilight. Why you didn't do your homework?"
  851. >She starts to stare at the floor
  852. >"I didn't want to..."
  853. >What
  854. >You thought you told her to study
  855. >You convinced her!
  856. >What's wrong?
  857. "Why, Twilight?"
  858. >She clenches her fists and say
  859. >"I was playing games..."
  860. >That's stupid.
  861. "You didn't do your homework because of games? But why?"
  862. >"In time when I wasn't doing my homework I was playing a lot of games. Y'know, computer ones. And playstation as well."
  863. >Oh, you almost forgot that she wasn't studying.
  864. >"I've acutally read this Kafka book I wanted from you but..."
  865. "What happened?"
  866. >"Cadence left for work again, she said she's going to work at night for a few days more. I felt lonely and decided to play some games."
  867. >She wipes out some tears from her face
  868. >"And I was playing until like 3 AM"
  869. >Oh fuck that's a long time.
  870. >And wait, why did Cadence leave Twilight alone?
  871. "Twilight. I know you feel alone if Cadence isn't home but I'd not recommend spending a lot of time at the computer when your study isn't good."
  872. >She nods
  873. >"T-teacher? May I ask y-you s-something?.."
  874. >She began to stutter a bit
  875. "Yeah, of course."
  876. >"C-Cadance s-s-said that I could ask y-you to come..."
  877. >Oh.
  878. >Well, that's not bad.
  879. >If you come, you can help Twilight with her studies.
  880. >And she won't be alone.
  881. >But why does helping Twilight feels so... good?
  882.
  883. >After 30 minutes you're in Twilight's home.
  884. >Twilight is setting up her books for homework.
  885. >You sit down near her and begin to explain those equations that students were writing in the class
  886. >She listens to you really carefully
  887. >And literally watches at every move of your pencil
  888. >While you explain things she always nods and almost asks no questions.
  889. >"Teacher? You want some tea?"
  890. >You don't mind some tea, acutally.
  891. "Yeah, with two sugarcubes, please"
  892. >You decide to stand up from the table and look around.
  893. >There's a few photos with Twilight
  894. >One's with Twilight and her parents
  895. >Another with Cadence, Twilight's parents, a couple of other people and Twilight herself in the middle with a smile from ear to ear.
  896. >You hear Twilight coming from the kitchen
  897. >A few cups are clinking as they hit each other while Twilight is brining the tray with them to the table
  898. >There's a few bagels on the tray
  899. "Oh, that's nice, Twilight! Thank you!"
  900. >She blushes a bit
  901. >"That's nothing. You're helping me so I have to do something for you..."
  902. >Wow. That's really nice.
  903. "You don't have to, Twilight. A greatest thanks to the teacher is that you understand everything teacher explains you."
  904. >She blushes more
  905. >"T-thanks."
  906. >You eat bangels and drink tea in silence.
  907. >After eating you hear Twilight yawn.
  908. "You need to sleep, Twi."
  909. >Oh shit you called her like that again.
  910. >She doesn't seem to notice.
  911. >"Y-you think?"
  912. "Yes. Don't play games today. You need to sleep well for tomorrow."
  913. >"I think you're right."
  914. >You two head to Twilight's room
  915. >She turns lights on
  916. >Room is filled with different posters and magazines
  917. >Not that pink ones.
  918. >Some cars magazines, comic books.
  919. >Posters are about Superman, Spiderman.
  920. >A lot of superheroes
  921. >"Oh. These are..."
  922. >She stops
  923. >You watch at her and see blush on her face
  924. >"...things."
  925. >You see her computer.
  926. >It's not bad, really.
  927. >Some really good computer.
  928. >Computer is off so you don't know what Twilight is playing
  929. >Twilight is taking her glasses off
  930. "Oh, I need to go out for a minute."
  931. >She needs to put on her pajamas
  932. >After a minute she says you can come in.
  933. >You enter the room and see her standing here in her purple pajamas with a lot of stars on it.
  934. >Looks good
  935. >Twilight goes to bed.
  936. >"T-teacher?"
  937. "Yes?"
  938. >She blushes once again
  939. >"I want to ask y-you to do s-something..."
  940. >She covers her head with blanket
  941. "What's wrong?"
  942. >"I j-j-just want y-y-you to..."
  943. >She really can't stop stuttering
  944. >What does she want?
  945. >"...s-sing me a l-l-lullaby..,"
  946. >What?
  947. >Wait, what?
  948. >A lullaby?
  949. >Really?
  950. >She takes off the blanket and watches at you
  951. >Her face is red
  952. >"Sorry! That's s-so s-s-silly! You c-can j-just g-go!"
  953. >Oh
  954. >You feel that you need to sing for Twilight
  955. >But why?
  956. "It's nothiing, Twi. I can sing."
  957. >"T-there's no need!"
  958. >She covers her again.
  959. "But I want to, Twi."
  960. >You called her like that third time in one evening.
  961. >She's your student! You can't talk to her like she's your relative or something!
  962. >But you don't care for some reason.
  963. >She starts to take off the blanket and sees you
  964. "I will sing. Listen."
  965. >"Thank you very much, teacher."
  966. "Hush now, quiet now, it's time to go to bed..."
  967. >And you start to sing that old lullaby your mother used to sing to you when you were a kid.
  968. >You feel something warm in your heart.
  969. >Like you're doing something that you really have to do.
  970. >After you sing a lullaby you kiss Twilight in forehead
  971. "Good night, Twi."
  972. >You turn off the lights
  973. "Sleep well."
  974.
  975. >You're at home.
  976. >It's almost 8:00 AM
  977. >Acutally you've got to be in school and teach students
  978. >But you've got a message that said you can come later because some students from middle school come to your school for practice.
  979. >You decide to head to school in a 30 minutes.
  980. >You make yourself a coffee and sit down at the table
  981. >What happened last night?
  982. >You were at Twilight's house
  983. >Everything was nice
  984. >Then you had to bring her to bed
  985. >And then she asked to sing a lullaby for her.
  986. >You can't say you're not okay with that
  987. >It was nice to sing for Twilight and make her happy
  988. >But that was so... strange.
  989. >She's so lonely
  990. >Her aunt works at night and Twilight has to be alone all day.
  991. >You hope nothing bad happens at class when you're not here.
  992. >When you end your coffee it's time to go to school
  993.
  994. >You walk in the hallway to your classroom
  995. >It's actually pretty silent in other classrooms
  996. >You come to your classroom and hear... somebody is... crying?
  997. >Who's this?
  998. >You listen carefully
  999. >Oh
  1000. >It's Sugarcoat.
1001. >You rush to the door
1002. >If something made Sugarcoat cry then it's something REALLY bad
1003. >You open the door and see some guy laughing at Sugarcoat
1004. >"Ha-ha you're so pathetic, sitting here, playing your toys and can't even do a simple quadratic equation!"
  1005. >What a disgusting piece of shit.
1006. >You come to him and see how his face gets scary when he understand that you saw him laughing at Sugarcoat.
  1007. "What is this?!"
  1008. >"I c-can explain..."
1009. >The guy starts to step back
  1010. >You sigh
1011. "Get out of the classroom. Now."
1012. >You point at the door and the guy runs away
1013. >There's some paper on your table
  1014. >It says "Efficiency of Student-Teacher"
1015. >There's a few lines in it like "Teacher's behavior" or "Teacher's efficiency in teaching students"
  1016. >After each phrase there's a gap
1017. >You as a teacher supposed to write in this gaps what do you think about that aspect of Student-Teacher
  1018. >You write everywhere "F (Terrible)"
1019. >After gaps there are words "Your general comment about Student-Teacher"
1020. >You cast a glance at students and see that they're really sad
1021. >It's not hard to understand that he was bad.
1022. >Comment is written and you sit down at your table and think about something
1023. >Suddenly you hear the guy scream from the hallway
1024. >"Please! Don't write anything bad! I need those good marks!"
1025. >How can he say that?
1026. >He just made one of your students cry
1027. >How can you give somebody like that a permission to be a teacher?
1028. >But on the other hand you didn't see him as a teacher only as a bully.
1029. >That's why you can't give him a good comment
1030. >There's nothing good he has done
1031. >You're so pissed and head starts to hurt
1032. "Students, you're allowed to go home. No lessons today."
1033. >Students thank you while leaving the classroom
  1034. >Sugarcoat comes to you
1035. >"Thank you, teacher! If you didn't come I don't know what would have happened"
1036. >Only Twilight is in the class
1037. >Door is closed and the guy is waiting on the outside
1038. "Why are you not leaving, Twilight?"
1039. >She comes to you and sits at the chair near your table
1040. >Then she lays her head on your shoulder
1041. "Did he do something bad to you?"
1042. >"No, he just yelled at the whole class and that..."
  1043. >You watch at her
  1044. >Twilight's eyes are wet
  1045. >"...m-made me c-cry... I don't know w-why"
1046. >She hugs you tight and starts to cry on your shoulder
  1047. >Oh god.
  1048. >Your hand is shaking
1049. >This guy is making you mad.
1050. >Actually you know why Twilight cried
1051. >You never yelled at anyone in class. As far a you can remember.
1052. >Even when you asked someone to stay after lessons you didn't yell.
  1053. >The guy comes in.
1054. >His face is sad and eyes are wet a bit
1055. >Even if he looks sad you can't forgive him
  1056. >No way.
  1057. >"I didn't want to do this..."
1058. "I see how you didn't want to do this."
  1059. >You point at Twilight.
1060. >He notices that Twilight cries
1061. >"I am so sorry! I didn't mean to make them cry!"
  1062. >The guy comes closer
1063. >"I just wanted to become a teacher and there was such a chance for me..."
1064. "Why did you yelled at students?"
1065. >"They weren't paying attention and one of them was playing with a toy! I thought that they need to listen to me. And then this girl with a toy said that she knows how to do equations I was giving..."
  1066. >He sighs
1067. >"And I gave her quadratic equation. A simple one. And then... this."
  1068. >He has some point.
1069. >It's hard to admit but he did SOMETHING good.
1070. >Guy tried to teach the students but thought that they were not listenning to him.
1071. >You start to talk with some pauses
1072. "A teacher...in elementary of course...has to be kind of interesting person. You have to make information...interesting for students. You need them to be interested in things you say..."
  1073. >Guy nods
1074. "If I'd start to explain maths or something else with emotions in my voice, with no attempts to make information interesting, nobody would ever listen to me, even though I am teacher."
  1075. >He wipes away a few tears
1076. "They'd just think I am boring. That's why I always try to make my lesson interesting and explain everything clear and answer student's questions."
1077. >"And that's all secret? I just need to be nice?"
1078. "Nice and smart. You can't teach somebody if you don't know basic things."
1079. >"Got it. Thank you, sir. I'll try better next time if they will give me a chance after your marks."
  1080. >Oh.
1081. >You wrote that he is terrible.
  1082. >Everything is covered with "F"
1083. >This guy was bad, no doubt.
1084. >But on the other hand right now he is on his way to become a good person.
  1085. >Should you give him a chance?
  1086. >Probably yes.
1087. >You take the paper and show it to the guy.
1088. >And then tear it apart.
  1089. >"What?!"
1090. >His eyes are open wide as he understands that you just tore apart his bad marks
1091. "I didn't want to do it, but I will give you a second chance."
1092. >"Thank you so much! I will become better! I promise!"
1093. >His eyes are filled with joy
1094. >Congratulations! You just saved someones life!
  1095. "You may go."
  1096. >"Thank you, sir!"
  1097. >He runs away.
1098. >You notice Twilight is standing behind you
1099. >She's smiling with a few tears in her eyes
  1100. >"Y-you're s-so k-kind to ev-everyone..."
  1101. >Oh god.
  1102. "Of course I am."
1103. >Truth to be told, ten minutes ago, you'd give this guy a strong slap in the face.
  1104. >Twilight hugs you tight
  1105. >"Thanks for help, teacher."
  1106.
  1107. >Home sweet home.
1108. >At least you don't need to teach anyone today.
1109. >This guy is really strange.
  1110. >You didn't even ask his name.
1111. >You were to busy thinking about what he had done and how to explain him that everything he had done is not quite good.
1112. >Well, at least he understood and promised to become better.
1113. >You make yourself a tea and sit down at the sofa
1114. >Some shitty cartoon is going on TV. Colorful horses.
1115. >You switch the channel to news.
1116. >Nothing interesting but for some reason news make you feel better.
  1117. >Your phone rings
1118. >If it's someone who will try to sell you something - you'll kill them.
1119. >You take the phone and see the number.
  1120. >Oh
1121. >It's the principal. Mrs. Harshwhinny.
  1122. "Hello."
1123. >You hear strict voice with strange but familiar accent
1124. >"Hello, Mister Anonymous. It's Harshwhinny. I got a message about the situation at your classroom today."
  1125. >Oh shit.
1126. >Mrs. Harshwhinny is tough sometimes and it's no good that she called you directly.
  1127. "Y-yes?"
1128. >"I have to admit I never thought you could do such a thing"
  1129. >Shit shit shit
1130. >Well, you can accept that everything you did was bad and you are really sorry for that and things like this would never happen
1131. >But did you do a bad thing?
1132. >Sure, you screamed at the guy and almost ruined his dreams, but after this you did something good, didn't you?
  1133. >It can wait
1134. >You need to get out of pile of shit you made for yourself
1135. "I am r-ready for a-any punishment you choose and I am sorry for everything!"
1136. >"Eh? Punishment? I know that I am quite professional... but punish someone for a good job? That's too much even for me!"
  1137. >She giggles
  1138. >Wait
  1139. >Good job?
  1140. >Is she for real?
  1141. "G-good job?"
1142. >"Oh of course! Some students told me that they saw you kicking this guy out of class! That's amazing! So much love for students! I am impressed."
1143. >It's kind of rare thing to hear Mrs. Harshwhinny say something like that.
  1144. "Thank you!"
1145. >"I will raise your wages for this month as a reward"
1146. "Thank you very much! You are generous person!"
1147. >"There's no need to thank me. If there is someone who has to be thanked, it's you."
1148. >She ends the call and you sigh
1149. >That's way better than you thought.
  1150.
  1151.
1152. >Weekend passed pretty quickly as you had nothing to do.
  1153. >School.
  1154. >First lesson is Reading.
1155. >You sit at your table and wait for students
1156. >Time passes and you hear them come into class
1157. >You see Sugarcoat come closer to your table, holding something in her hands
  1158. "Yes, Sugarcoat?"
1159. >"T-teacher. I have to thank you for your help yesterday..."
1160. >She places something covered with paper on your table
1161. >"It's my favourite. Please take it."
1162. >You take the thing, take off the paper and see... a pony.
1163. >A pony from that cartoon on TV.
  1164. >Power Ponies, huh?
1165. >You remind calling it shitty.
  1166. >Well, it's a present. You can't just say that you don't need it.
1167. "Thank you very much, Sugarcoat!"
  1168. >"Y-you like it?"
1169. "Of course! How can I not?"
1170. >She smiles and then goes to her place.
1171. >The toy she gave to you is a pony with rainbow hair and dressed in something black.
1172. >Well, it looks fancy, let it be.
1173. >You stand up infront of your students.
  1174. "Good morning, students!"
  1175. >"Good morning, teacher!"
1176. >You need to say something about situation that happened yesterday.
1177. "Students. I do remember what happened yesterday and I want to say that everything is alright. I have talked with this guy and he promised to never do something like that."
1178. >The class stays silent but you see understanding in their eyes.
1179. >Time to begin the lesson.
1180. >You put out a book about English writers.
1181. >Next few lessons of Reading you need to tell students about various writers and what things did they write.
1182. >Good for them, they don't need to do anything.
1183. "First writer today is Rudyard Kipling..."
  1184. >Students begin to listen.
  1185.
1186. >Lesson ends quickly as you read about Rudyard and his "The Jungle Book".
  1187. >Next lesson is Maths.
  1188. >lesson begins.
1189. >Today you're explaining your students about Cartesian coordinate system.
1190. "Please, draw this in your copy-books"
1191. >You point at Cartesian plane on the blackboard
1192. >Students nod and start drawing
  1193. >"Teacher?"
  1194. >You hear Vinyl ask
  1195. "Yes?"
  1196. >"Do you have a pencil? Mine's broken."
  1197. "Yeah, of course"
1198. >You give the pencil to Vinyl.
1199. >After a few minutes you start to explain what is y-axis and x-axis, what is origin and everything else.
1200. >Then you give students a task to mark some points using the plane.
1201. >Everyone do the task right and lesson ends.
  1202.
  1203. >"T-teacher?"
1204. >You hear voice of Moondancer
  1205. "Yes, Moondancer?"
1206. >"M-my mom asked to give you this..."
1207. >She puts some envelope at your table
1208. >"For everything you've done yesterday. It's not much but..."
1209. >For God's sake are they trying to give you money again?
  1210. >That's enough.
  1211. "Sorry, but I can't take that."
1212. >"You have to! We can't take it back..."
1213. >Why does everybody try to give you money for helping them?
1214. >Can't they just say 'thank you'?
1215. >In addition, Moondancer's family is not very rich, so taking the money from them is going to be bad for them.
1216. "I will not take this."
1217. >That's not enough, she'll not go away.
1218. >You need some cogent argument.
1219. "If you will keep trying to make me take this money I will consider this as an insult!"
  1220. >That should work.
1221. >Even if this sound a bit silly.
  1222. >"Oh. O-ok. I will t-tell m-my mom"
1223. >She took the envelope from your table with her hands shaking a bit.
  1224.
  1225. >Time for Writing.
  1226. >lesson begins
1227. >You decided to read some text to your students and ask them to retell it on the paper.
1228. >Text is not that long but students ask you to repeat it two more times
1229. >The whole lesson goes without any sounds, only sounds of writing and thinking
1230. >You like when students think.
1231. >lesson ends and students give you their works.
1232. >You see Twilight's work and it's done not bad.
  1233. >About Twilight
1234. >She didn't say anything during the whole day
  1235.
1236. >Other lessons pass pretty quickly
1237. >Students are going out and you see Twilight is coming to your table
1238. >After a full day of silence she probably wants to say something
  1239. >"T-teacher, may I ask you something?"
1240. >She hold her arms together and stays infront of your table with her head looking at the floor
  1241. "Yes?"
  1242. >"M-my aunt called s-some workers to r-repair something so I am n-not able to be at home f-for a f-few hours..."
1243. >Oh, she is going to ask you to be with her for these few hours, isn't she?
1244. >"I w-wanted to ask you to b-be with me until the w-workers are g-gone..."
1245. >Is she herself asking you or she is asking because Cadence asked her?
1246. >Anyways, you have to help.
1247. "Yeah, I'll help. Where do we go?"
1248. >She smiles and watches at you with eyes filled with happiness and some sort of relief.
  1249. >"I don't know"
  1250. >She giggles
1251. >Well, if there is some place for kids - it's some festival.
  1252. "How about festival?"
  1253. >Twilight frowns a bit
  1254. >"I don't know. There'd be so much people..."
  1255. "I'll be around."
1256. >As you say this you slightly push Twilight to yourself.
1257. >Her face goes red and you see how she nods.
1258. "Good! Now let's go to my car."
  1259.
  1260. >After 30 minutes you're at the festival.
1261. >This festival is held by some woman Carrot Top who is the head of some big carrot company
1262. >You're not sure if they're growing carrots or just making something out of them.
1263. >But still, this festival is all about carrots.
1264. >Twilight is standing behind you
1265. "Let's go have some fun!"
1266. >You say this and start to search for something interesting
  1267. >Carrot eating contest?
  1268. >Nah.
1269. >Lessons about how to grow a carrot?
1270. >Nah, that's not interesting even for you.
1271. >You see some cafe at the middle of the field where contest is held.
1272. "Let's go over there, we may buy something delicious!"
1273. >Twilight nods and follows you.
1274. >At cafe you decide to buy some carrot pie and carrot juice for both of you.
1275. >After eating carrot pies you decide to watch some show.
  1276. >Show is boring.
1277. >It's just a few guys in the costumes of carrots, singing about how carrots are healthy and other stuff
1278. >In the middle of the show Twilight says
1279. >"Teacher? Can we go, please?"
1280. >To say that you are glad to leave this place is an understatement.
  1281. "Yes, of course."
  1282.
1283. >You leave the festival and ask Twilight about where she wants to go
  1284. >It's library.
1285. >You have a few hours to read some books with Twilight
1286. >Not very interesting thing, but books are unusual.
1287. >You'll find something to talk about.
  1288.
1289. >After you got in the library you ask Twilight to lead the way
1290. >She goes in the SciFi section and you together take some book
1291. >Twilight took "The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams
  1292. "Did you read it?"
1293. >"Yes, I wanted to show it to you..."
1294. >You actually read it already.
1295. >Amazing book, by the way.
1296. "I've read it. You wanna talk about it?"
1297. >You see fire in her eyes
  1298. >"Yes! Of course!"
  1299. >Twilight says it a bit loud
1300. >After understanding that she closes her mouth with the hand a her face blushes a little bit.
  1301.
1302. >You two go to the little table
  1303. >Twilight starts to speak
1304. >Converstaion goes on and on
1305. >Your favorite character is Ford Prefect and hers is Arthur Dent.
1306. >You couldn't even imagine that Twilight reads that much.
1307. >She looked like she didn't give a shit about studying
1308. >But she knows about books so much that you are assured that she read a lot of books.
  1309. >From SciFi to history-related books.
1310. >One of them you were reading, it's like the story about two girls going to Crusade.
1311. >It's not historically accurate, but it's still interesting.
1312. >You spent two hours talking about different books
1313. >"Are you bored, mister teacher?"
  1314. "No, of course not!"
1315. >She was asking this from time to time
1316. >You're not bored and you don't know why she thinks like that
1317. >Two hours passed pretty quickly and when you saw Twilight reading a message from Cadence you got upset a little bit.
1318. >"We need to go, Cadence says everything is done."
  1319. "Yeah, of course."
1320. >It was the nicest time you had in library.
1321. >Talking with Twilight is making you feel so... warm inside.
1322. >Like a cup of hot tea in the winter.
1323. >Like someone whos valuable for you.
1324. >Why does it feel so good?
1325. >Is it how you have to feel with your student?
1326. >You are ready to do anything to be with Twilight at least for a few more hours
1327. >The way she talks when she's not hesitating
  1328. >The way she thinks
1329. >You were talking with her about that Douglas Adam's book and she was giving you so many different theories
1330. >You could make a fanfic from one of them, that's for sure
  1331. >Well, it's time to go.
  1332.
1333. >You are in the car with Twilight sitting next to you
1334. >"That was awesome day, mister teacher! Thank you very much!"
1335. >You feel how your face goes red
  1336. "I-it's nothing."
  1337. >Way to Twilight's home took about 40 minutes.
  1338. >You stop near Twilight's home
1339. >"I need to go, teacher. Thank you for such an amazing day."
  1340. "Glad to help."
1341. >Twilight closes the door of your car and runs away.
  1342.
1343. >You didn't notice how much time it took you to get to home
1344. >You come in and hear the sound of TV
1345. >It seems you let the TV on.
  1346. >News.
1347. >You take out a figure of pony out your pocket
1348. >Maybe you should watch this show?
1349. >You switch the channel to some cartoons channel
  1350. >Power Ponies.
1351. >You quickly run to the kitchen, take the soda out of the fridge and take some cookies with you
  1352. >Like in old times.
1353. >As you run back to the couch a thought comes into your mind
1354. >Does Twilight like Power Ponies?
1355. >Maybe you should watch this show with her?
  1356. >Those questions can wait
  1357. >It's time to watch.
1358. >You try to sit more comfortable and start to watch.
  1359.
  1360. >Morning
1361. >In 30 minutes you need to be in school
1362. >While trying to find your bag you remember what you were doing yesterday evening
1363. >Watching these Power Ponies was pretty interesting despite you thought that they're shit
1364. >Your favourite characters are Masked Matterhorn and Radiance.
1365. >You even thought about buying figures of them
1366. >Does Twilight watch Power Ponies?
1367. >You're gonna know at school.
  1368.
  1369. >School.
1370. >First lesson had to be History but principal said that every teacher has to tell their students about Freedom of Speech, how important is Independence Day and etc.
  1371. "Good morning, students!"
  1372. >"Good morning, teacher!"
  1373. >Students sit down
1374. >You open your mouth in attempt to say something as you hear somebody knocking on the door
  1375. "Come in!"
  1376. >Principal comes in.
  1377. >Students suddenly stand up.
1378. >"You may sit, students. Mister Anon, could you please come out for a few seconds?"
1379. >She gestures towards the door
  1380. "Yes, of course"
  1381. >You follow Mrs. Harshwhinny
1382. >As you come out of the class she closes the door and comes closer to you
1383. >"Mister Anon. I was thinking about my reward to you for that thing you did few days ago. I thought that raising your wages for this month isn't good. Your wages will stay the same but instead of it..."
1384. >She puts something out of her pocket and puts it in yours.
1385. >You quickly check what was that
1386. >A piece of paper folded a few times.
1387. >You unfold it and see...
  1388. >It's money
  1389. >Kinda a lot.
  1390. "W-why?"
1391. >"I appreciate your work, Mister Anon. I really do."
1392. >She apparently goes too far with it.
1393. "It's m-my job, Mrs Harshwhinny. It'd be wrong if I'd not do this."
1394. >"Just accept it, Mister Anon. You've earned this."
  1395. >Maybe she's right.
1396. >But that still leaves some strange feeling inside of you
1397. >"Oh. I almost forgot. I invite you to a dinner with me."
  1398. >What
1399. >Your boss is inviting you for a... dinner?
  1400. >That's kinda... not okay.
1401. >Sure thing, Harshwhinny is a nice woman and all.
  1402. >But a dinner sounds a bit wrong.
1403. >Well, you can't say no because she just gave your reward.
1404. "Yes, of course I accept your invitation, Mrs Harshwhinny! It's an honor for me!"
  1405. >You smile at her
1406. >"Thank you, Mister Anon. I'll see you later."
1407. >She waves you and goes away
  1408. >That's strange.
1409. >You come back to class and continue to speak.
1410. >The lesson ends and students leave the class.
  1411.
  1412. >Next lesson is Drawing.
1413. >You decide to give students a task to draw their favourite characters from cartoons
1414. >That's how you going to know if Twilight watches Power Ponies!
1415. "You can draw any character you want, students. It can be a character from anime or even Power Ponies."
  1416. >Students begin to draw
1417. >You walk from one side of class to the other, looking at student's pictures
1418. >Moondancer is drawing something looking like a strange blue bird
1419. >Sour Sweet is drawing the Simpsons
1420. >You can't understand what everyone else is drawing so you decide to sit at your table and wait until lesson ends
1421. >While lesson goes a few students ask you to give them a pencil or something else
1422. >After lesson ends students come to you and give their works
1423. >Trixie drew some guy with orange hair and big sword
1424. >Sugarcoat drew Zapp from Power Ponies
  1425. >Looks cool.
1426. >Works of other students are not that interesting for you
  1427. >You look for Twilight's picture.
1428. >Finally you find two pieces of paper signed by Twilight
1429. >One of them is a girl in red glasses with some katana
  1430. >And other is...
  1431. >Masked Matterhorn.
  1432. >You smile.
1433. >That's one more thing you can do with Twilight when she needs help!
  1434.
1435. >After lessons end you come out of the class and see Mrs. Harshwhinny come to you.
1436. >"Hello there, Mister Anon. I hope you didn't forget about our dinner today. I'll meet you nearby school in 2 hours."
1437. "Of course! I will come!"
1438. >Harshwhinny smiles at you and goes away
1439. >You've got nothing to do at school so you decide to go home to wait
  1440.
1441. >When you get home you put off your clothes and go to bath
1442. >After a bath you put on some clear clothes you have
1443. >You have an hour left so you decide to drink some coffee and then head to school.
  1444.
1445. >You see Mrs. Harshwhinny standing near school's doors.
1446. >She comes to you car as you stop infront of school.
1447. >"Mister Anon! Glad to see you! Are you ready?"
1448. >She sits in the car.
1449. "Yes I am. Where do we go?"
1450. >Mrs. Harshwhinny takes her phone out and watches at the map.
1451. >"It's 'Inserer le nom aleatoire ici' restaurant not far away from here."
1452. >She tries to say the name of restaurant but fails and shows it to you.
1453. >You manage to read the name and eyes of your boss are open wide
  1454. >"You know French?"
1455. >Acutally, you can READ French but you don't understand shit
1456. >You don't know how you manage to do that.
  1457. "Heh..."
  1458. >You blush a bit.
1459. >Ten minutes pass and you are already near the restaurant
1460. >"By the way, you look really great, Mister Anon."
1461. "Thank you! You're looking nice too!"
1462. >She's wearing purple jacket, green shirt and dark purple pants.
1463. >It's her ordinary outfit but for some reason she looks somehow charming this time.
1464. >And you are actually looking like you're going on a date.
1465. >You did put on black jacket, blue shirt and red tie.
1466. >You like that tie, for some reason it makes you look better with any clothes.
1467. >Two of you come to a table that Mrs. Harshwhinny booked
1468. >As you sit down waiter comes to you
1469. >"What's your order?" he asks and smiles at you
1470. >"What do you want, Mister Anon?"
  1471. >You acutally don't care
  1472. >So you say.
  1473. >"Alright, then I'll order for you."
1474. >Waiter comes to her and takes her order.
1475. "Sooo... is there some purpose for our dinner? I don't want to be offensive but you didn't call me there for nothing, right?"
1476. >"Yes, I wanted to talk about one thing."
  1477. "And what's that?"
1478. >She starts to answer but here comes waiter with meals.
  1479. >"Your order!"
1480. >She ordered spaghetti and roasted beef for both of you.
  1481. >"Let's it, Mister Anon."
1482. >You nod and start to eat.
  1483. >It's pretty delicious.
1484. >while you eat waiter brings two glasses of water.
1485. "So what you wanted to talk about, Mrs. Harshwhinny?"
1486. >She frowns a bit then sighs and starts to speak
  1487. >"You see... there is a problem."
  1488. >A problem?
  1489. "What problem?"
1490. >"I see you started to spend a lot of time with one of your students."
  1491. >Oh. She's talking about Twilight.
1492. "Yes, she needed help because of problems at home."
1493. >She looks into your eyes
1494. >"That is what I am talking about, Mister Anon"
1495. >Her voice gets more severe.
1496. >"I mean, you spend too much time with her."
  1497. >What?
1498. >"I think you should stop doing that."
  1499. "Why?"
  1500. >"Because this is unacceptalbe."
1501. >She raises her voice, but not too much, for others not to hear.
1502. >"It can affect your work as a teacher. You will be too distracted with helping that girl."
  1503. >She's not right.
  1504. >At all.
1505. "It will not affect anything! Why can't I help my student when they need help?"
1506. >You start to speak a bit louder.
1507. >"Because I don't want to know that other school think that our teachers are not professional enough!"
1508. >She hits the table with her fist, spilling water from one of the glasses.
1509. >"I started to work with people from Crystal Prep Academy and I need my students to be strong and smart!"
1510. >You watch into her eyes and see fire.
1511. >But she's not right! You're helping her to be more smart! She didn't even study before you started to do something!
  1512. >Why she's thinking that you don't help?
1513. "I want you to know that since I star--"
1514. >"Enough! One more word and you will be fired, Mister Anon! I need something more than skills. I need you to be professional!"
  1515. >What?
  1516. >Fired?
  1517. >But for what?
  1518. >That is stupid.
1519. >You stand up from the table, leaving some money at the table.
  1520. >$50 should be enough.
  1521. >You're angry now.
1522. >If you stay at this restaurant, you will kill someone.
1523. >As you come out of restaurant you feel cold air and start to breathe.
1524. >That's enough for this dinner. You need to go home.
1525. >You sit in your car and drive your way home.
1526. >You don't notice how you get to home.
1527. >When you get home, you sit down on a sofa and turn on the TV.
1528. >You have 15 episodes of Power Ponies recorded.
1529. >That's gonna be nice night.
  1530.
  1531. >School.
1532. >You're sitting at your table and waiting for students
  1533. >First lesson is Maths.
  1534. >lesson begins
  1535. "Good morning, students."
  1536. >"Good morning, teacher!"
1537. >You hear somebody lower their voices while saying 'good morning'
1538. >You have no idea why did they do that.
1539. "Today you have the test about Cartesian plane."
1540. >You write a bunch of coordinates on the blackboard and sit down at your table
  1541. >Whole lesson is silent.
1542. >lesson ends and students come out of class.
  1543. >Twilight comes to you.
  1544. >"Something's wrong, mister teacher?"
  1545. >She asks you
1546. "Why something has to be wrong?"
  1547. >You answer with a question
1548. >"You looked like something bad happened..."
1549. >You don't want to hear that from her
1550. "Everything's fine. You may go."
1551. >You hear her sigh as she goes out of class.
  1552.
  1553. >Writing begins
1554. >You read the text and students write it down.
1555. >After reading the whole text you give students 5 minutes to check if everything's OK.
1556. >Then you ask them to give their works to you and allow them to do anything they want until lesson ends.
1557. >This situation with Harshwhinny makes you mad.
1558. >What you are going to do?
1559. >What if Twilight will ask for you again?
  1560. >What will you say?
1561. >What you have to do?
  1562. >Say no?
1563. >But it will hurt her.
1564. >It seems that you are her only friend
1565. >And it seems that her aunt can't affect her studies, so after you will stop helping her she'll abandon studying and will never do something again.
  1566. >That looks bad.
1567. >lesson ends and students come out of class.
  1568.
1569. >Other lessons end pretty fast as you're trying to speak less
1570. >You can do something bad if you're mad.
1571. >After the last lesson Twilight comes to you again.
  1572. >"Mister teacher!"
1573. >She starts to speak louder when all students are gone.
1574. >"I insist on you telling me the truth. What happened?"
1575. >She's trying to look strong and powerful by making her voice severe.
1576. >That makes you giggle a little bit.
1577. >But you're still trying to save your seriousness
  1578. "Nothing happened, Twilight."
  1579. >"Something did happened, teacher."
1580. >Should you tell her the truth?
1581. >Or you should tell her to go away?
  1582. >Second option isn't really nice.
  1583. >Oh god.
1584. "OK. Something happened, alright. But I don't want to talk about it."
1585. >You stand up from your table and head to door.
1586. >As you try to get to the door you feel something blocking you.
1587. >Twilight is standing with tears in her eyes.
  1588. >"P-please, teacher. T-tell m-me..."
1589. >Why she wants to know?
  1590. >It's nothing about her.
1591. >Well, it is something about her but she doesn't know.
1592. "Why you want to know?"
1593. >She tries to speak while she cries
  1594. >"B-because y-you a-a-always h-help m-me..."
1595. >She rushes to you and hugs really tight.
  1596. >"P-please..."
1597. >Your heart is about to explode.
1598. >You must tell her the truth.
1599. >Or you will count yourself as a selfish idiot for the rest of your life.
1600. "OK. I will tell you everything."
1601. >Twilight calms down a bit and goes back.
1602. "Yesterday I had a dinner with Mrs. Harshwhinny. Our principal."
  1603. >She nods
1604. >You decide to end this faster
1605. "A-and during this dinner she told me that she saw us together many times and that I have to stop doing that or I'll be fired."
1606. >The end of the sentence you spoke really fast.
  1607. >But Twilight understood everything.
  1608. >She starts to sob.
  1609. >"B-but w-wwhy?"
1610. >You sit down at the table and gently pull Twilight closer to you.
1611. >Now it's your time to hug her.
1612. >She sits on your knees.
  1613. "I don't know, Twilight. I don't know..."
  1614. >You hug her tighter.
1615. >As you hug her a brilliant thought comes to your mind.
  1616. >Who cares?
  1617. >Yeah, you'll be fired.
1618. >You can work as a teacher at other schools.
1619. >You can become teacher at the middle school!
1620. >You have "A+" for Physics, by the way.
1621. >But you chose elementary school because it's easier and more chill that middle and high school.
  1622. "I don't care, Twilight"
1623. >She instantly turns her head to you as you say that.
  1624. >"W-what?"
1625. "I mean, yeah, I can get fired. But I will help you. That's my job. I'm a teacher, at the end of the day."
1626. >She looks at you with eyes filled with astonishment
1627. >"You will help me even if you can get... f-fired?"
  1628. "Yes, I will."
1629. >She's grinning all over her face.
1630. >"Thank you so much, mister teacher!"
  1631. >She hugs you.
1632. "Well, it's time for me to go. Do you need help?"
1633. >"No, this time Cadence's at home. Thank you again, mister teacher!"
1634. >Twilight runs out of class with grin from ear to ear.
  1635.
  1636. >Home.
1637. >You're glad that Twilight is happy.
1638. >You start to think about places where you can work in case you get fired from this school.
1639. >It's going to be kind of hard to get into Crystal Prep because of Cinch.
1640. >But there are a lot of places.
  1641. >Acutally, that can wait.
  1642. >You need a sleep.
1643. >And what is perfect for a sleep?
  1644. >Power Ponies.
1645. >You're already sleeping after two episodes.
  1646.
  1647. >School.
1648. >You're sitting at your table
1649. >For some reason principal allowed all of the students to come on the second lesson.
1650. >You hope she didn't hear your conversation with Twilight yesterday
1651. >Well, you're still there that means she didn't hear anything.
  1652. >That's good.
1653. >First lesson goes slowly and boring without students
1654. >You literally have nothing to do.
1655. >Half of the lesson passes
1656. >You hear somebody open the door.
  1657. >It's Twilight.
1658. "Hello there. Why did you come?"
1659. >"Hello. I just wanted to come earlier."
  1660. >Kinda strange
1661. >She always was the last one to come to school.
1662. >But she never was late, actually.
1663. "You can sit at your desk if you want."
  1664. >"Thank you."
  1665.
1666. >Time passes and students come to the beginning of second lesson
  1667. >Reading.
  1668. "Good morning, students!"
  1669. >"Good morning, teacher!"
1670. >You put out a book about English writers and get ready for reading.
1671. "OK, students. Today we are reading abo--"
1672. >Sound of radio interference and scratching noises stop you from reading.
1673. >Did somebody bring the radio?
  1674. >Wait.
  1675. >Isn't it that intercom?
1676. >School workers were saying that it's broken.
1677. >You start to hear fuzzy but still familiar voice.
1678. >"Every teacher in school shall come to principal's office. Now!"
1679. >Why'd Harshwhinny need everyone now?
  1680. >You don't know.
1681. >You cast a glance at your students and see how they nod.
  1682. "I'll be back soon"
1683. >You come out of class and head to principal's office.
  1684.
1685. >"I need everyone to understand. Principal of Crystal Prep is coming to our school today. She needs to check how good our school is." says Harshwhinny
1686. >You and bunch of other teacher stand infront of Harshwhinny while she speaks.
  1687. >You see someone raising a hand.
  1688. >"Yes, Cozy Pencil?"
1689. >Cozy Pencil is Drawing-only teacher. He is the head of Drawing club at the school.
1690. >He has slightly grey hair and always wears grey outfit.
1691. >But still, his skill is indescribable.
1692. >What is unusual in this situation is that Cozy Pencil asking somebody a question is quite a rare thing.
1693. >He never asks somebody about anything.
  1694. >Cozy's just a quiet person.
1695. >It's interesting, what will he ask?
1696. >"Why does principal Cinch visit our school? I don't remember us having any contact with her."
  1697. >Harshwhinny raises a brow.
1698. >"We are working with Crystal Prep for a week now! You have to know such a thing!"
  1699. >She speaks pretty loud.
1700. >Cozy steps back with his face sad.
  1701. >Poor man.
1702. >"I don't remember ya mentionin' somethin' 'bout that lady Cinch, Mrs. Boss"
  1703. >Braeburn comes in.
  1704. >He's PE instructor.
  1705. >"Me neither!" says Soarin.
  1706. >Another PE instructor.
1707. >They're always together for some reason.
1708. >Maybe they're kinda swore friends or something.
1709. >"I don't care! The main thing that everything has to be perfect. No one has to dissapoint our guest. We have to be impressive!"
1710. >Is she obsessed with this Crystal Prep?
1711. >All of you say 'yes' and start to go away from principal's office.
1712. >"That's some crazy thing, huh?" you hear Cheerilee say as she slightly hits your shoulder.
  1713. "Yeah."
1714. >"I heard you had a dinner with principal."
  1715. >Cheerilee giggles.
1716. "Ooh. That's not the best thing to talk about."
1717. >"Aww. I thought that you're going to be promoted. What happened?"
1718. "Nah. I'll tell you later, OK?"
  1719. >"If you want, man."
1720. >Cheerilee is acutually the only teacher you speak to most of the time.
1721. >She's kind but awesome and intersting at the same time.
1722. >You come back to class and continue reading.
  1723.
1724. >After the lesson you decide to come out of the class and check how everything is going.
1725. >It seems that principal Cinch is already in the school building.
1726. >Well, school's not big so she'd be there no longer than a few hours.
1727. >You hear some of students calling you
1728. >"Mister teacher! Come play with us!"
  1729. >Eh?
1730. >Oh. That's right. Sometimes teachers play with their students.
1731. >You didn't do that really much because you were always sitting in the class.
1732. "Sorry, I can't. Gotta get ready for the lesson!"
1733. >You say and get back to class.
1734. >After sitting down at your table you hear somebody knocking on the door.
  1735. "Come in!"
1736. >Door opens and you see Twilight coming in.
  1737. >"Teacher? May I ask you something?"
1738. >It's better to help her before Mrs. "Everything-has-to-be-perfect" comes.
  1739. "Yes, of course."
1740. >Twilight comes closer to your table
1741. >There's something in her hands
1742. >A toy, to be exact.
  1743. >Masked Matterhorn.
1744. >You saw commercials on TV.
1745. >This one is pretty expensive.
  1746. >And nice.
1747. >She brings a toy closer to you
1748. >One leg has a crack on it and there's part of hair missing
1749. >Twilight holding it in her hands
1750. >"C-could you please repair it, teacher?"
  1751. >You can't say no.
1752. >You take the toy and part of its hair
1753. >You remember having some glue in your table.
1754. >After searching through lots of stash the glue is finally found.
1755. >With accurate and careful moves you glue broken leg together.
  1756. >It takes time, acutally.
1757. >Carefully, you begin to work on hair.
1758. >When you place broken piece right in the place it was before, you start to work.
1759. >The toy is done and you have to wait till the glue dries up.
1760. "Take it when the lesson ends."
  1761. >"Thank you very much!"
  1762. "No problem."
1763. >She comes out of class.
  1764.
  1765. >Maths.
1766. >Today you need to ask your students questions about everything you've taught the for past few months.
1767. "Moondancer, tell me about divisibility rule. By 2, 3 and 5."
1768. >Moondancer stands up and starts to speak
1769. >"If the last d-digit of number is even - number is divisible by 2. If the sum of digits equals 3 - number is divisible by 3.
1770. If the number's last digit is 5 or 0 - number is divisible by 5."
1771. >Pretty good but she made one mistake.
1772. "Good, Moondancer but you've made one mistake. Who's going to be the one who will say the correct answer?"
  1773. >Sugarcoat raises her hand.
  1774. "Yes, Sugarcoat?"
1775. >"If the sum of digits is divisible by 3, then the number itself is divisible by 3."
  1776. "That's right."
  1777. >You point at Twilight.
1778. "Twilight, tell me please divisibility rule by 6, 10 and 15."
  1779. >Twilight stands up.
1780. >"The number is divisible by ten if...if its last digit is 0. Uuh.."
  1781. >Twilight can't answer.
  1782. "OK, Twilight sit down."
  1783. >Trixie raises her hand.
1784. >"If number is divisible by 2 and 3, it's divisible by 6. If nubmer's last digit is 0, then it's divisible by 10 and if number is divisible by 5 and 3, it's divisible by 15."
  1785. "Excellent, Trixie. Well done."
  1786. >"Thanks!"
1787. >After a few more questions lesson ends.
  1788.
1789. >You decide to come out of classroom at this break.
1790. >You need to give Twilight her toy and maybe you have to try doing something with your students.
  1791. >Maybe.
1792. >You see Twilight standing alone
1793. >It seems she doesn't speak to other classmates.
1794. >You come closer to her
  1795. "Here's your toy."
1796. >She smiles and gives you a hug
  1797. >Infront of the others.
  1798. >"Thank you, teacher."
  1799. >But no one cares.
  1800. >And that's good.
1801. >"Ahem." you hear somebody behind you.
1802. >You turn your head towards the voice.
  1803. >Harshwhinny.
1804. >"I have to talk to you, Mister Anon."
  1805. >Shit.
  1806. >Shit shit shit.
  1807. >You follow her.
1808. >She leads you somewhere near your class and checks if there is any student.
1809. >"Listen here, Mister. I've told you that you are not allowed to do that."
1810. >She comes closer to you.
1811. >"Not obeying the orders might be bad for you."
  1812. >Closer.
1813. >"And you know what can happen if you'll continue doing this."
1814. >She's so close to you that you hit the wall with your head while stepping back.
1815. >"I'll keep my eye on you."
  1816. >Harshwhinny goes away.
  1817. >Shit, you were almost a goner.
1818. >You come back to Twilight.
1819. >Her eyes a bit wet, other students are worried for some reason too.
  1820. >"What happened, mister teacher?"
  1821. >Trixie asks
1822. "Nothing! Just talked to Mrs. Harshwhinny a bit. Why'd you ask?"
1823. >"Ah. OK then. Just never saw you talking with her much."
  1824. >Students calm down but Twilight doesn't.
  1825. >She gives you a worried look.
1826. >You come closer to her and give her a hug.
1827. "It's all right. Nothing happened."
1828. >She steps back and smiles.
  1829. >"Thank you."
1830. >You come back to classroom.
  1831.
  1832. >History.
1833. "Tell me, Octavia, how long did it take for Hundred Years' War to end?"
1834. >Octavia clears her throat before answering
1835. >Suddenly, Vinyl stands up and shouts:
  1836. >"A hundred!"
  1837. >Well, she tried.
  1838. "Wrong. Sit down, Vinyl."
  1839. >Octavia giggles at Vinyl's nonsense.
1840. >Vinyl blushes and sits down.
  1841. "Octavia?"
  1842. >"116 years."
  1843. "Correct."
1844. >"What idiot came up with an idea of calling a war that lasts 116 years "Hundred Years' War"?"
  1845. >Students laugh
1846. "When did the war begin? Twilight?"
  1847. >"The war started in 1337."
  1848. "When did it end?"
  1849. >"In 1453."
  1850. "Correct."
1851. >You look for someone who is busy with something else except for the lesson
1852. >Trixie is brushing her hair.
  1853. "Trixie, tell me."
1854. >She puts away the comb
1855. "Who were main belligerents at this war?"
  1856. >"U-uh. France..."
1857. "Yes. One more. Who was fighting against France?"
  1858. >"Scotland!"
  1859. "No. It's not Scotland."
  1860. >"Urgh!"
1861. "You need to pay more attention, Trixie."
  1862. >"I know, teacher. Sorry."
1863. >You decide to move on.
1864. "Who knows when did the Frist Crusade begin?"
  1865. >Moondancer raises her hand
  1866. >"1096."
1867. "Correct. When did it end, Sour?"
  1868. >"1099."
1869. "Right. Who called the First Crusade? Twilight?"
  1870. >"Pope Eugene II?"
  1871. "That's not correct."
1872. >Strange, you thought she has to know about such things. You're not sure why.
  1873. "Moondancer?"
1874. >"Pope Urban II of course!"
  1875. "Right!"
1876. >Other part of the lesson goes pretty well
  1877. >lesson ends
1878. >Break begins and students walk out of the classroom.
  1879.
1880. >This break you're going to be inside.
  1881. >Next lesson is Drawing.
1882. >You're taking a few albums from your bag
1883. >Somebody knocks on the door.
  1884. "Come in!"
  1885. >Cheerilee comes in.
1886. "Hello there! How it's going with Harshwhinny?"
1887. >"It's OK with me but did you hear what happened to Soarin?"
  1888. "Huh?"
1889. >"He accidentaly slapped the butt one of his students when Harshwhinny was entering the gym."
1890. >You drop an album on the floor and start to laugh out loud.
1891. >Cheerilee starts to laugh too.
1892. >"You'd see how I laughed when I saw her face"
1893. >She tries to copy Harshwhinny's face but fails and laughs even more
  1894. >So do you.
1895. >After a good minute of laughing Cheerilee starts to speak
1896. >"Be careful, Anon. I heard she got you too"
1897. "Yeah, she said she'll keep an eye on me."
1898. >"I hope nothing bad happens with you."
  1899. "Same."
  1900. >The bell rings.
1901. >"Oh. Good luck, got to go!"
  1902.
  1903. >Drawing.
1904. >Today is the day when you don't give a shit what your students need to draw.
1905. >You just give them a random theme.
1906. "I need you to draw a place where you'd like to live."
1907. >Students nod and start to draw.
1908. >Actually, you could help some of your students with other subjects.
1909. "Anyone who will finish their work can come to me and I'll help you with Maths and other things."
1910. >Students nod again but some of them begin to draw faster.
  1911. >Especially Twilight.
1912. >After 10 minutes Moondancer comes to you with her picture.
1913. >Some sort of fortress is drawn here. White japanese houses with orange roofs and a wall with a wooden gate.
  1914. "What is this?"
1915. >"Soul Society... place where dead people go."
1916. "You'd like to live there?"
  1917. >"Y-yes..."
  1918. >She says really silent
1919. >She's afraid of getting a bad mark.
1920. >Judging by instructions that were given to you, it is a bad work.
  1921. >But who cares?
1922. >You always thought that it is not right to give students bad marks for drawing.
1923. >Drawing is an expression of your thoughts, desires.
1924. >Just like music and dancing.
1925. >You write "A+" and listen to what Moondancer wants to say
1926. >She wants you to give her a few easy equations.
1927. >You do so and wait for other students.
  1928. >Next comes Twilight.
1929. >She drew some tent in the forest.
1930. >Nearby this tent there's a girl with something in her hand
1931. >And right behind her there's standing some man
1932. >For some reason this man is looking like you
1933. >And girl is looking like Twilight.
1934. >You better let that be and listen to what Twilight wants you to explain.
1935. >"C-could you help me with History, t-teacher?"
1936. "Yes, of course. What do you need?"
1937. >Twilight takes a book and comes closer to you
1938. >"How do you remember all of these things? It's like 15 pages long and you didn't even look in the book!"
  1939. >You giggle.
  1940. "Look, Twilight."
1941. >She comes so close that you can feel her breath
1942. "You d-don't have to learn every word in here by heart. Read it a couple of times and then try to find some 'key words'"
  1943. >"Key words?"
1944. "Yes. Or you can do even better! Make a summary of the text!"
  1945. >"A summary?"
1946. >She'll keep asking about every word?
1947. "Yeah. Read the text and write down it's main things."
  1948. >"That... may work. Thanks!"
  1949. >She hugs you
  1950. >Class doesn't care
1951. >Suddenly, you hear the door open.
1952. >You look at the door but see it closing.
  1953. "Come in!"
  1954. >Door closes.
1955. >Maybe some student got classrooms wrong.
  1956.
  1957. >Next break.
1958. >You're out of classroom again.
1959. >Looking at what your students doing
1960. >Sometimes Cheerilee comes to you and talks a little bit
1961. >Maybe you should come out of classroom more often.
1962. >Students decide to play a game with a ball.
1963. >They throw it to each other.
1964. >The ball looks not heavy so nothing bad will happen.
1965. >Sugarcoat throws the ball to Moondancer and she barely catches it.
1966. >Moondancer throws the ball to Octavia.
1967. >Octaiva immediately throws the ball to Vinyl and she throws it... to you?
  1968. >"Catch it, teacher!"
1969. >You catch the ball and studets are impressed.
  1970. >Ball is really easy.
1971. >You throw it back and watch how students continue to play.
1972. >At one moment, Sour Sweet throws the ball to Vinyl.
1973. >Vinyl decides to return the ball with a powerful strike.
1974. >Ball flies near Octaiva's head and hits Twilight causing lens to pop out of her glasses.
  1975. >Twilight starts to cry.
1976. >You run up to her and look at the glasses.
  1977. >You can fix it.
  1978. >And you will!
1979. >"Sorry for that, Twilight!" you hear Vinyl say
1980. >You take the glasses and Twilight follows you
1981. >You enter the glass and Twilight sits down at your table.
1982. >There has to be some tools in this classroom.
1983. >You start to check every locker nearby your table.
1984. >Finally you find some box with "TOOLS" written on it.
1985. >You find a driver inside and check if it's going to help.
1986. >You need to unscrew a small screw near the place where lens was before.
1987. >You don't know much about glasses but this is the only possible way for you to repair them.
  1988. >That driver won't work.
1989. >You look for a smaller driver and you find it.
1990. >Carefully you unscrew this small screw and rim opens.
1991. >You put the lens in and screw it back.
1992. >You're trying to be as careful as you can.
1993. >Sweat appeared on your forehead.
1994. >Finally the screw is screwed.
1995. >You give glasses a wipe and hand them to Twilight.
1996. >Twilight takes the glasses and puts them on while you go out of the classroom.
1997. >Students are playing the game.
1998. >You hear somebody running out of class.
1999. >Twilight runs up to you and hugs you tight.
  2000. >"Thank you so much!"
2001. >You hug her back and pat her head.
2002. >"I've had enough of this!" voice of your boss breaks the hug.
  2003. >Twilight hides behind you.
2004. >Harshwhinny comes closer to you and taking you by your hand.
2005. >She walks away from students and then nails you down.
2006. >"I've had enough of this, Anon! This is overkill! You are getting fired right after Cinch leaves the school!"
2007. >Harshwhinny yells at you and you Twilight winces.
2008. >"I don't want to have a teacher in my school that looks like a pedophile!"
  2009. >What?!
  2010. >Is she crazy?!
2011. >Your eyes are open wide.
2012. >"I don't want to see you there anymore."
2013. >You hear somebody cough and then speak
  2014. >"And I don't want to see YOU anymore."
2015. >Harshwhinny turns to the person.
  2016. >It's Cinch.
  2017. >H:"W-what?"
2018. >C:"I saw what you were doing to this man for the whole day! He is taking care of his students! I have even heard about him from Twilight's brother in Crystal Prep! This man is the kindest teacher I've ever met! And I saw what you've done to that PE instructor for his accident! I don't think that I want to work with a perverted person like you!"
2019. >Harshwhinny is stepping back from both of you and then runs away in tears.
2020. >"Well done, mister Anon. I want to see you at Crystal Prep. I am sure that she'll fire you after this... situation."
  2021. >She sighs.
2022. >"It is definetly sad that you are having a boss like that. If you're fired, come to my academy. You're welcomed with open arms."
2023. >Wow. Being a teacher in Crystal Prep is a good thing.
2024. >But Twilight... and the others...
2025. >"I'm letting it on you. But it's obvious that you'll get fired."
  2026. >Cinch is leaving.
2027. >You come to your students.
2028. >Nobody is playing the game and eveyone is looking at you.
2029. "You got it right, students."
2030. >Most of them begin to cry a bit.
2031. >Twilight rushes to you and starts to cry too.
2032. >You all go to classroom.
  2033.
2034. >"Thank you for everything, teacher!" - Trixie says while wiping few tears from her face.
  2035. >Moondancer comes to you.
  2036. >"This is for you..."
  2037. >She gives you a picture.
  2038. >It's you and... a pony?
2039. >It's Radiance from Power Ponies!
  2040. "Thank you, Moons!"
  2041. >She hugs you.
2042. >They're so nice to you.
2043. >Every single one of your students is wishing you the best of luck at the next job.
2044. >This lesson for some reason was longer than always.
2045. >You drew so many drawings with them, sang songs.
2046. >But all good things come to an end.
2047. >The bell rings and each of the students is promising to study good even without you.
2048. >Everyone leaves the class except for Twilight.
  2049. >"Teacher..."
  2050. "Yes?"
2051. >"Thanks for everything... I'll never forget you."
  2052. "Thank you very much!"
2053. >"If it weren't for you, I'd be the dumbest person in the class!"
2054. "Don't say that! You are pretty smart now! A bit of a good work and everything will be perfect."
  2055. >"Thanks!"
2056. >Twilight starts to leave the classroom.
  2057. "Twilight!"
  2058. >"Yes?"
2059. "I'll come tomorrow. Maybe something will change. Just keep that in mind."
  2060. >"I will!"
2061. >Twilight comes out of class.
  2062.
  2063. >Morning.
2064. >You wake up early this time and don't want to go to bed.
2065. >What a shitty day you had yesterday.
2066. >You're getting fired. One hundred percent.
2067. >After a cup of coffee you sit on the sofa and watch TV.
  2068. >Some silly cartoons.
2069. >Time goes by and it's time to go to school.
  2070.
  2071. >School.
2072. >You try to be careful and get to your classroom as sneaky as possible.
2073. >Harshwhinny will see you anyways, but the longer you are in school the more you'll have chances to speak with your students for the last time.
  2074. >First lesson is Writing.
2075. >You wait for your students to come.
2076. >After a few minutes of waiting you hear somebody knocking on the door.
  2077. "Come in."
  2078. >You say carefully.
2079. >The door begins to open
2080. >Please be someone good, please be someone good...
  2081. >Cheerilee.
  2082. >You sigh.
2083. "Hello there. Close the door faster, I don't want *her* to know that I am here."
  2084. >Cheerilee closes the door.
2085. >"Hello. Making sure that the last day of your work is gonna be as long as possible?"
  2086. >You nod.
  2087. >Cheerilee takes a chair near you.
2088. >"I hope you'll find a good job." Cheerilee sighs.
2089. >You look at her but see only sadness in her face.
2090. >Looks like everyone is upset that you're getting fired.
2091. >Cheerilee and you speak for a few minutes and then the bell rings.
  2092. >"Good luck, Anon."
  2093.
  2094. >Writing lesson.
2095. >Students are coming into the classroom.
2096. >You see their faces shine brighter than the sun as they see you while coming into classroom.
  2097. >"Teacher!"
2098. >Trixie rushes to you and gives you a hug.
  2099. >"Are you gonna stay?"
  2100. "I-I don't know yet..."
2101. >She gives you sad look.
2102. "We'll talk about that later, please get to your desk."
2103. >When students are standing near their desks, you decide to begin the lesson.
  2104. "Good morning, students!"
  2105. >"Good morning, teacher!"
2106. >For some reason their voices seem to be louder this time.
2107. >Maybe they're happy to see you again.
2108. >This is your last day at the school.
2109. "Okay students. Today I need you to write a composition about..."
  2110. >You think for a second.
  2111. "Anything. Literally anything."
2112. >You see some of your students grin in excitement.
2113. >Students begin to work as you lean back.
2114. >You hear some of your students whisper between each other.
2115. >You decide to let them be.
2116. >Time goes by and it's time for lesson to end.
2117. >Students give you their works and leave the classroom.
  2118. >You check their compositions.
  2119. >First you see Moondancer's composition.
2120. >[I want to tell you about my teacher. His name is Anonymous and he is the best teacher in the world...]
  2121. >What?
2122. >You read the text quickly.
2123. >Moondancer wrote about how great you are.
2124. >Your hands are shaking and eyes go wet.
2125. >You take the other composition. It belongs to Octavia.
2126. >[My name is Octavia and I want to tell you about my teacher. He sure is one of the most magnificent people I have ever seen...]
  2127. >God.
2128. >You take another compositon. This one is written by Trixie.
2129. >[Trixie is great and powerful, no doubt. And there was nobody greater and more powerful than Trixie. Untill Trixie met one man. Her school teacher. And since then Trixie is trying to find the way to become more great and powerful than her teacher...]
2130. >Did they all write about you?
2131. >You check composition by composition and see that they all about you.
  2132. >Every single one.
2133. >You hear somebody coming into the classroom.
  2134. >"Anon? I hope you're not busy."
2135. >You hear Cheerilee's voice as she coming into the classroom.
2136. >"Oh dear! Why are you crying?"
  2137. >Wait.
  2138. >What?
2139. >You didn't notice how you started to cry.
2140. "Ah! I-It's n-noting! There's something in my eye! Yeah, something in my eye!"
2141. >You start to wipe your tears.
  2142. >"What happened?"
  2143. >You sigh.
2144. "I was just reading compositions my students wrote... And they're all about me."
  2145. >Cheerilee checks your table.
2146. >"That's awesome! Your students love you so much!"
2147. "Yeah... Unfortunately, I am leaving this place soon. And, probably, forever."
2148. >Cheerilee lowers her head and frowns.
2149. >"About that. I am here to talk about this."
  2150. "What do you mean?"
2151. >"I want you to talk to her."
  2152. >What?
2153. "Are you crazy? I am trying to hide here to be with my students as long as it's possible! And you are telling me to go to her?"
  2154. >Cheerilee nods.
2155. >"I understand what are you feeling, Anon. But there's still a chance that she will understand your motives! Why should not you try?!"
2156. >You just stare at Cheerilee in silence.
  2157. >She is right.
  2158. >Goddamn right.
2159. >You need to talk to that bitch and you need to do it now.
2160. >You stand up from your desk and head to principal's office.
  2161. >Now or never.
  2162.
  2163.
2164. >"Oh I was waiting for you to come, mister Anonymous! Come in, come in!"
2165. >You shiver a litte bit and step in.
2166. >As you do your first step in the principal's office, you hear Harshwhinny say:
2167. >"Good job! And now...you're fired. Get out."
  2168. >Shit!
2169. >You need to do something. Maybe she'll forgive you if you will explain her everything.
2170. "Listen to me, Mrs. Harshwhinny! I want to--"
2171. >"Fired! Get out of my office, I got work to do. Getting back what you have ruined."
  2172. "I didn't mean to do this, all I--"
2173. >"FIRED! GET OUT OF MY OFFICE, NOW!"
2174. >She yells at you with such power that you have to take a few steps back.
  2175. "I can explain everything!"
  2176. >"GET. OUT."
  2177. >Why can't she listen?
2178. >Is it so hard to listen to someone?
2179. "Mrs. Harshwhinny, give me a chance to say something!"
2180. >"If you are not leaving this place in next five seconds, I am calling the police."
  2181. >What?!
  2182. "Listen!"
  2183. >"Five."
2184. "Please, Mrs. Harshwhinny! Give me a minute to explain!"
  2185. >"Four."
2186. "I just wanted my students to be happy!"
  2187. >"Three."
2188. >What is wrong with her?
  2189. >"Two."
  2190. "Okay! Fine. I'm leaving!"
  2191. >You leave principal's office.
2192. >There's nothing you can do.
2193. >You lost your job, your students.
2194. >Emptiness appears in your soul as you close the door.
  2195.
2196. >You enter the classroom and see your students sitting still.
2197. >You decide to leave as fast as you can.
2198. >You quickly take your stuff from the table.
2199. >Students give you worried looks.
2200. >"What happened, teacher?" Trixie stands up and runs towards the door.
  2201. >Now she's blocking the doorway.
2202. >"Are you leaving?" Sugarcoat says, making everyone in the classroom wince.
2203. >Every student in the classroom is staring at you.
2204. >You try to say something but words just don't come out of your mouth.
2205. >After a few seconds of mumbling you hear Sugarcoat ask:
2206. >"Teacher? Why are you crying?"
2207. >You didn't notice how you started to cry.
  2208. >Again.
2209. >What is wrong with you?
2210. >You kneel down on the floor, closing your eyes with your hands and start to cry out loud.
2211. >You want to be with them.
2212. >You don't want to leave this place.
2213. >Some student stood up from their desk and rushed to you.
  2214. >"Don't cry!"
  2215. >You hear Twilight's voice.
2216. >You look at her and see that she cries too.
  2217. >Twilight gives you a hug.
2218. >After a couple seconds everyone in the classroom is hugging you.
2219. "I don't want to leave." you whisper.
2220. >"Then don't leave, mister teacher!" Moondancer says as she takes you by the hand.
2221. >She's sitting on the floor close to Twilight.
2222. >They both look at you with their eyes filled with compassion.
  2223. >They're so adorable.
2224. >You try to get up on your feet and fail, but your students are taking you by the arms, helping you to stand up.
2225. >You wipe away your tears and look at your students one more time.
2226. >Where are you going to go now?
2227. >This job was your dream job.
2228. >Yeah, you can become a teacher in middle or high school.
  2229. >But you don't need that.
2230. >You got used to these kids.
2231. >Trixie and how she refers to herself in the third person.
2232. >Vinyl with her works filled with a bunch of expressions.
  2233. >And... Twilight.
2234. >Twilight with her laziness in the beginning.
2235. >Now she's trying to study. And she's trying good!
2236. >You put so much effort in her studies.
2237. >And she's always glad to see you, glad to spend time with you.
2238. >By the way, you're her only friend.
2239. >That'd be a biggest loss for her if you'll leave.
2240. >If you leave Twilight, she'll stop studying. She will become lazy again.
2241. >There'll be no motivation to her.
2242. >Octavia stands up from her desk, coughs and starts to speak:
2243. >"We shan't stay there anymore. We shall get to the principal's office and tell her about our teacher. If she hears us, she will change her mind and let Mister Anonymous stay with us!"
  2244. >What?
  2245. >You can't let them go.
  2246. >They'll make things worse.
2247. >She already thinks that you are a pedophile.
2248. >What'd she think if she'll see a whole class coming to her office only to defend you?
  2249. >Right. Nothing good.
2250. "No. There's no need in that, Octaiva."
2251. >"Why? She fired you! We need you to get unfired! And you want to come back as well!"
2252. "Because it will cause troubles, Octavia. Troubles not only for me but for you. That is the thing I am afraid of."
2253. >"Trixie does not care about troubles! There is only one trobule for her and that trouble is her teacher leaving!"
2254. >Other students start to nod and agree.
2255. >Octavia opens the door and looks at other students.
2256. >"If there is some doubt in you, students, then stay here. The ones who want to have their teacher back - follow me!"
2257. >Octavia quickly leaves the class.
2258. >So does a big part of the class.
  2259. >Everyone except Twilight.
  2260. "Why didn't you go?"
  2261. >"You didn't want me to."
  2262. >Sounds legit.
2263. >"W-why do you think that talking to p-principal Harshwhinny will not help, t-teacher?"
2264. >Twilight's coming closer and takes you by the hand.
2265. >Her eyes are wet but she's trying to hold her tears.
  2266. "You see, Twilight..."
2267. >You stop for a second, trying to find words that could help you.
2268. "I've met people before. I know what furious boss is able to do if some workers will try to assure him or her in letting fired employee to stay. I saw how dozens of people got fired because of that."
  2269. >Twilight gulps.
  2270. >"B-but we are not w-workers..."
2271. "That doesn't mean that she can't expel you."
  2272. >"E-expel?"
2273. "Forbid you to attend the school."
  2274. >Twilight winces.
2275. >"How can she do that?! There is nothing bad in our wish to have you back!"
2276. "People have their own mind. So does Harshwhinny."
2277. >Twilight starts to cry and rushes to hug you tight.
2278. "Take it easy... maybe we'll meet at the other school! Like in the middle school or in the high school."
2279. >"I don't want to loose you!" Twilight cries so loud that you think she's heard for a miles away.
2280. >You hug her and pat her head.
2281. >"All those evenings... all that time we spent together! Why?"
2282. >Twilight buries her head in your chest.
2283. "There there... Everything will be OK, don't cry."
  2284. >"H-how..."
2285. >You notice how Twilight tries to say but fails because of crying.
  2286. >"H-how c-can it be OK? I want you b-back... Teacher!"
  2287. >Twilight cries even more.
2288. >Maybe you really should've listened to others and move to principal's office?
  2289. >Maybe Harshwhinny isn't a bitch who can't forgive you?
  2290. >And maybe it's too late.
  2291. >"Why...why..."
2292. >While Twilight cries you hear a lot of steps outside the classroom.
2293. >Students. But why they're not running here?
2294. >The first who enters the class is... Harshwhinny.
2295. >All students stay behind her with worried looks.
  2296. >"Mister Anon. I have heard..."
2297. >Harshwhinny glances back at students.
2298. >"A story about you and your attitude to these students. Also I had a request about letting you stay there from," - Harshwhinny searchs for something in her pockets. It's a piece of paper, - "about 30 people, including all of your students, Cheerilee, both PE instructors and others."
2299. >Wow. Did everyone in the school worry about you so much?
2300. >"Also I have heard the cry of this girl." - Harshwhinny points at Twilight.
2301. >You hope she'll not do anything bad about this.
2302. >It would be sad if she kicked you out because of this.
2303. >"I see how students want you to stay, so..."
2304. >You and students start to carefully listen to Harshwhinny's words.
2305. >Can it be true that she will let you stay?
2306. >"I will think about this. But don't think you are not fired still. You are allowed to be here untill I say my word. Don't annoy me with that question anymore."
2307. >At this moment, every student rejoiced.
2308. >Students rush to you and start to hug.
2309. >Harshwhinny gives you a short smile and leaves the classroom.
2310. >You start to hug students back.
2311. >"I told you, mister teacher! Told you!" exclaims Octavia.
2312. >You didn't expect that Harshwhinny will accept the request.
2313. "Thank you. Thank you all. I am so glad... so glad."
2314. >Now you notice how you start to cry.
2315. >Suddenly, you hear Cheerilee's voice near the door to the classroom.
2316. >"Now these are tears of joy, aren't they?"
  2317. >Cheerilee giggles.
2318. >You did notice how you started to cry but you didn't notice how you fell on your knees.
  2319. >Trixie sits near you.
2320. >"There there, teacher. Be strong!"
2321. >After these words you want to cry even more.
  2322. >You are staying here!
  2323. >Yes!
  2324.
2325. >You decided to cancel all the lessons for today.
2326. >One interesting thought comes to your mind when students start to leave the classroom.
2327. "I want to invite everyone to a cafe."
2328. >Students turn around and watch at you.
  2329. >Sugarcoat raises her hand:
2330. >"Isn't cancelling the lessons for your benefits is prohibited by school rules?"
  2331. >Shit.
  2332. >It is.
2333. >You need to find an excuse for bringing your students to the cafe.
  2334. >You think for a minute.
2335. "We will have a town tour. I will tell you the story of our town and how people were living there before! And visiting the cafe will be a part of the tour!"
  2336. >You clap your hands.
2337. >Sugarcoat starts to speak again:
2338. >"But we know the story of our town, isn't it useless?"
2339. >You see how students started to smile when you brought an arugement of you visiting the cafe and see how they nodded when Sugarcoat pointed at the fact that it's useless.
  2340. >But who cares.
2341. >You can always say that you did that for them to remember the story of our town.
2342. >Your teacher was doing that.
2343. "Repetition is the mother of all learning. One tour won't be bad for you."
2344. >Students rejoice and follow you as you leave the classroom.
  2345.
2346. >After you quickly tell the story of the town you get to the cafe.
  2347. >Waiter comes to you.
  2348. >"Can I take your order, sir?"
2349. >You tell the waiter to ask every student's order.
  2350. >He comes back in a minute.
  2351. >"It will cost you, approximately, $100"
  2352. >Well, it's not too much.
2353. >You have money to pay.
2354. >You order a cup of tea and a muffin for yourself and let the waiter go.
  2355. >Moondancer comes to you.
2356. >"But how will we pay?"
  2357. "It's on me."
  2358. >Moondancer's cheecks go red.
  2359. >"Y-you don't h-have to..."
2360. "I want to do this, Moondancer. I'm okay with this."
  2361. >You blush a little bit.
2362. >A few minutes pass and waiter starts to serve all of you.
2363. >Even though students had a free choice, they didn't order lots of food.
2364. >Some soda, tea and cupcakes with muffins.
2365. >Students are sitting on the tables.
  2366. >There's no free table.
2367. >Only free spot is the table with Twilight and Moondancer.
  2368. >It seems they're talking about something.
  2369. >You decide to join.
  2370. "May I join?"
  2371. >Twilight instantly blushes.
2372. >She mumbles something and nods.
  2373. "Thanks."
2374. >Moondancer pulls out a phone and sighs.
2375. >"I am sorry, teacher. I got to go. Mom needs help at home. Thank you very much for everything!"
2376. >She takes her bag and runs away from the cafe.
  2377. >"Thank you, teacher..."
  2378. "Uh?"
  2379. >"For m-meals..."
2380. "It's no big deal, Twilight. I'd say that this day is a holiday!"
  2381. >Twilight smiles.
  2382. >"Thank God you're back..."
2383. >Sure thing she is glad that you're not fired.
2384. >Finally you start to understand.
2385. >You loved this class, no doubt.
2386. >But when Twilight started to study, somehow everything became much better.
  2387. "Twilight."
  2388. >Twilight raises her head.
  2389. >"Y-yes?"
  2390. "Thank you for everything."
  2391. >Twilight blushes again.
  2392. >"F-for w-w-what?.."
2393. "When you started to listen to my words, when you started to study, I finally realised how much I love all of you."
  2394. >Twilight gasps.
  2395. >"R-r-really?.."
  2396. >Her eyes are wet.
  2397. "Yes."
2398. >You wipe a few tears from her face.
2399. >"T-t-thank you... Thank you so much!.."
2400. >Twilight starts to cry but then quickly wipes her tears off.
  2401. >"Can we..."
2402. >Twilight starts to speak and instantly closes her mouth.
  2403. "Twilight?"
  2404. >"N-no. It's n-nothing!"
  2405. >What did she mean?
2406. "You can tell me, Twi."
2407. >She hides her face in her hands.
2408. >"I wanted to ask if you'll allow me to go with you..."
  2409. >Oh.
2410. >You don't have any work after the tour, so you can take her to your home.
2411. "Of course you can. Why not?"
  2412. >"T-t-thanks..."
  2413.
  2414.
2415. >The tour ended and you are at your home with Twilight.
2416. >You're watching an episode of Power Ponies.
2417. >Suddenly, Twilight starts to speak:
  2418. >"I am so g-glad that you d-didn't get f-fired."
  2419. "So I am."
2420. >"I don't know what I would do if you would leave."
2421. >You were right. She'd stop studying hard.
2422. >"I just started to become friend with Moons. I hope she will be friends with me."
2423. >She's so worried about one friend?
2424. >You try to say something but Twilight starts speaking first:
2425. >"She'd be my first friend..."
  2426. >Oh god.
2427. >You almost asked her why'd she worry about one friend.
2428. >Sinking feeling appears in your heart when you hear Twilight's words.
2429. >You push her closer to you and hug tight.
  2430. "You'll do this... Don't worry."
  2431. >Twilight starts to cry.
  2432. >"T-thanks..."
2433. >After a few minutes of crying Twilight wipes away her tears.
2434. >"I'm so exited about her. I hope she likes me."
2435. "She sure does. Why someone would not like you?"
  2436. >Twilight blushes.
  2437. >"D-don't say such things..."
  2438. >She is really shy.
2439. "Let's continue on the episode!"
  2440. >"Yes!"
  2441.
  2442. >Morning.
2443. >You're sitting at your table and waiting for your students to come.
  2444. >And you're not fired!
2445. >A single thought about you working here again makes you clap your hands.
2446. >You stand up as students start to come in.
  2447. >First lesson is Maths.
  2448. "Good morning, students!"
  2449. >"Good morning, teacher!"
2450. >You write an equation on the blackboard.
  2451. >2x-7=2-x
  2452. >"Teacher? You've made a mistake, there's two x's!" you hear Octavia say.
2453. "It's no mistake, Octavia. There is two x's and you have solve this equation."
2454. >Students begin to write down the equation.
2455. >"How do we do this?" Vinyl is asking you as she throws her pen at the desk.
  2456. "It's simple."
2457. >You come to the blackboard and start to explain as simple as you can.
2458. "X's is an unknown number. As you can remember we always have unknown numbers separated from known. So why can't we make this complex equation a simple one? Let's make it like this."
  2459. >You write 2x+x=2+7 on the blackboard.
2460. "Minus x changes to plus x and minus 7 changes to plus 7. From this we get 3x=9."
2461. >You write down this equation.
2462. "I think you know how to do this one."
2463. >Students nod and you write down some more equations.
2464. >15 will be enough until the lesson ends.
2465. >After 10 minutes Trixie comes to you and gives you the work.
2466. >It's done well but there are a few mistakes.
2467. "Check this equation... and that one. And fifth. Aand seventh."
2468. >"Urgh! How did Trixie manage to fail with such a task?!"
2469. >Frustrated, Trixie goes back to her desk.
  2470. >Next comes Moondancer.
2471. "Great work, Moondancer! You may go and do your stuff. A+!"
2472. >Moondancer blushes and briskly walks to her desk.
2473. >Vinyl comes to you and gives you the work.
2474. >You're waiting to see a lot of mistakes but there's only two.
2475. >You check her work closely and watch at her desk from time to time with a hope to find any cheat notes.
2476. >When you don't find any, you point at Vinyl's mistakes and she walks away.
2477. >Lesson goes on with somebody coming and going back and ends soon.
  2478.
  2479. >History.
2480. >As the students sit down you take a book from your table and start to ask.
2481. "Sour Sweet, what is the date of Kievan Rus' establishment?"
  2482. >Sour Sweet stands up.
  2483. >"Uhh... 882?"
2484. "Correct. Octavia, when was Russia baptized?"
  2485. >"In 988!"
  2486. "Correct! Next is... Sugarcoat!"
2487. >Sugarcoat jumps a little bit and watches at you.
2488. "Which type of government was used in Kievan Rus'?"
  2489. >"Republic?"
  2490. "Eeh, no."
2491. >Sugarcoat sighs and you see Trixie raising her hand.
  2492. "Trixie?"
  2493. >"Monarchy!"
2494. "Correct. I see you wanted to answer so much so I'll answer you one more question."
2495. >You decide to check if Trixie's ready for the lesson.
  2496. >"I'm ready."
2497. "Who was the first ruler of Kievan Rus'?"
  2498. >"Oleg. Oleg of Novgorod."
2499. "Well done. Vinyl, could you tell me how was called the analogue of popular assembly in Kievan Rus'?"
  2500. >Vinyl starts to think.
  2501. >"Russkaya Pravda?"
  2502. "No. That's other thing."
2503. >Vinyl continues to think but after a minute she gives up.
  2504. >"I don't remember."
2505. "I'll ask you later. Who remembers how was called the analouge of popular assembly in Kievan Rus'?"
  2506. >Moondancer raises her hand.
2507. >After a moment Trixie and Sour Sweet do the same.
  2508. "Twilight?"
2509. >Twilight looks in the book.
  2510. >"I don't know."
  2511. "Moondancer?"
2512. >Moondancer smiles and stands up.
  2513. >"Veche."
2514. >You come a bit closer to her.
2515. "What was the currency in Kievan Rus'?"
  2516. >"G-grivna."
2517. >You do one more step and Moondancer blushes a little bit.
2518. "What religion did Kievan Rus' follow?"
  2519. >"C-christianity."
  2520. "That's not all."
  2521. >"Orthodoxy."
  2522. >She's brilliant.
  2523. "Excellent, Moondancer. 'A+' again!"
2524. >Moondancer blushes even more and sits down.
  2525. >"Th-thanks."
2526. "Who would be the one who will tell me one important thing about Yaroslav the Wise? What did he invent?"
  2527. >Class is silent.
2528. "We were talking about it recently."
  2529. >Class remains silent.
2530. >Suddenly, you see Twilight raising her hand.
  2531. "Yes, Twilight?"
2532. >"Rus - ska - ya prav - da." Twilight pronounces syllable by syllable.
2533. "And what is this Russkaya Pravda?"
2534. >"Russian Justice. The law code."
  2535. "Good!"
2536. >Well, at least she answered some question.
2537. "Who can name me one of the biggest trading centers of Kievan Rus'?"
  2538. >Trixie raises her hand.
  2539. >"Kiev!"
2540. "No, Trixie. Kiev was the capital but not the trading center."
  2541. >Trixie sighs.
  2542. "Twilight?"
  2543. >"K-Kiev?"
  2544. >Uhh. That's awkward.
2545. "Twilight... it's not correct answer. I just said that..."
2546. >Twilight buries her head in hands in frustration.
  2547. "Sugarcoat?"
  2548. >"Is it Novgorod?"
2549. "Yes, it is! Correct answer."
2550. >After a few minutes the lesson ends.
  2551.
2552. >At the break you sit in the classroom as usual.
2553. >You hear somebody knocking on the door.
  2554. "Come in!"
  2555. >Cheerilee comes in.
2556. >"Hello there! Well done on getting this place back." Cheerilee says as she knocks on your table a couple times.
2557. "It wasn't that easy, I'd say. Acutally, I'm here only because of my students. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't talk with you now."
2558. >"Yeah, I know. I saw them going to Harshwhinny's office. I thought everything will end up badly, to be honest."
  2559. "Me too."
  2560. >Cheerilee giggles.
  2561. "What's so funny?"
2562. >"It's funny because a few days ago you were frightened by Harshwhinny kicking you out of the school. And now you're, you know, here."
  2563. >That's true.
  2564. >Wait.
2565. >Didn't Harshwhinny say you something?
  2566. >Exactly.
2567. >[But don't think you are not fired still]
2568. >Suddenly sadness come at you.
2569. >Your smile disappears and you lower your head.
2570. >"O-oh. Sorry! I didn't mean to bring bad memories!"
2571. >Cheerilee rushes to hug you but you stop her.
2572. "Everything's OK. I just remembered that it's too early to celebrate. Thanks."
2573. >You have to do your best as a teacher for Harshwhinny to forget about all accidents happened.
2574. >In short, you need to regain your reputation.
  2575. >"What?"
2576. "Harshwhinny didn't say that I am not fired. She said that she will think about me."
  2577. >Cheerilee nods.
2578. >"I understand now. You need to prove your best to her, right?"
  2579. "Right."
  2580. >"Good luck, Anon."
  2581. "Thank you."
2582. >Cheerilee leaves the classroom, leaving you alone untill the break ends.
  2583.
  2584. >Drawing.
2585. >You've been giving too much free tasks lately, so you decided to ask your students to do something particular.
2586. >You stand up from your table and come to an old TV standing behind you.
  2587. >It hasn't been used in a while.
2588. >You blow off the dust from TV and take an old CD from your table.
  2589. >[Bob Ross.]
2590. >You put DVD on and let students watch the show.
2591. "You need to draw what this guy draws."
2592. >You quickly say and bury yourself in thoughts.
2593. >What do you need to do to prove Harshwhinny that you mean nothing bad?
  2594. >Where would you go?
2595. >These questions make you forget about time and think only about things you can do to stay here.
  2596.
2597. >You feel somebody hitting you in the shoulder.
  2598. >It's Sugarcoat.
2599. >"Teacher. The lesson's over. We put the pictures here. It's break time."
2600. >You realise that you've been thinking for the whole lesson and didn't find a way.
2601. "Thanks, Sugarcoat, you may go."
2602. >Sugarcoat exits the classroom, leaving you alone.
2603. >Maybe you need to win some competition?
2604. >Or do some school interesting project...
  2605. >Or ask her for a dinner.
  2606. >No, that's a bad idea.
2607. >School project would do it.
2608. >You leave the classroom and head to Harshwhinny's office.
2609. >You need to ask for her permission for making a school project competition or something like that.
  2610.
2611. >"So, you want to organize the competiton, right?"
  2612. "Correct."
2613. >"Do you have the theme and motive?"
2614. "I do. The theme is our school and how we, teachers, and students love it."
2615. >That always works, you just need to assure your boss that you love your workplace.
2616. >"And what is motive? Why'd you all of a sudden decide to make a competition of school projects about love to our school?"
2617. "I want to show how I love this school and also want to see what my students like in it. And it'll be also a great experience to compete with other teachers and aknowledge what are their views."
2618. >You feel that you need to add something more to make this statement sound more strong.
2619. "Uh... And of course it would be extremely useful for all of us! No money is lost if you will allow me to organize this event."
  2620. >Harshwhinny smiles and nods.
2621. >"That's the professionalism I've been looking for a long time! The man who cares about everything in our school and knows how to make profits out it even in financial way! I knew that I did the right thing when I took you back, Mister Anonymous! I give my permission."
2622. "Thank you, Mrs. Harshwhinny! I won't let you down."
2623. >You say and leave the office until she says something else.
  2624.
  2625. >Writing.
2626. >Students had no homework because of compositions.
2627. "I've checked your compositions. Thank you very much for these. But I can't give you all 'A+' for that. That's why I decided to give everyone two marks. First one for the content and second is for grammar."
2628. >Students start to listen closely.
2629. "Moondancer. 'A/A'. There are little mistakes, but they're not that important. Good job."
2630. >Moondancer blushes and thanks you.
2631. "Sugarcoat. 'A/B+'. You had a few mistakes in words and a few extra commas. It's 'conclusion', not 'conclucion'."
2632. >"Thank you. I guess I have to work more hard next time."
  2633. >You smile.
  2634. "That's the spirit!"
  2635. >Sugarcoat nods.
2636. "Trixie. 'A/A'. Well done, I liked the stucture of the text."
2637. >"Thank you very much, teacher!"
2638. >After a few more works you get to Twilights work.
2639. >Which is not good, as you can remember.
2640. >Sure thing the first mark is 'A' because the text is about you and it's great, yeah. But grammar is... bad.
2641. "Twilight Sparkle. 'A/B-'. The structure is good but grammar is not. There are no big mistakes but lots of small. I'd recommend you practise with dictionary at home."
2642. >Twilight's face gets sad as she nods.
2643. >She has been trying and she got a bad mark. The worst mark for grammar in the class.
2644. "Stay after the lessons, I'll help you."
2645. >"Yes, teacher." Twilight said with sadness in her voice.
2646. "Octavia. 'A/A+'. Well done, as always."
2647. >"Thank you, teacher!" Octavia answered lifting her pen as if it is a cup of tea.
  2648. >You both giggle.
2649. >When all works are observed, you open a book and start doing exercises with your students.
2650. >"Teacher, is it "I had been visiting this grocery shop for five years and I never have this issue" or "I never had this issue"?" - Sugarcoat asks, raising her hand.
2651. "Think of it, Sugarcoat. If the subject is talking in the past tense, it'd be better to use 'had' instead of 'have'."
2652. >"Thank you, teacher. I guess I need to pay more attention to these things."
  2653. >You nod.
2654. >For some reason you feel that you are being too rude to her.
2655. >After announcing all the marks, you start to explain a new theme.
2656. "Today we are learning about--"
2657. >Sudden radio interference stop you from talking.
2658. >"Attention dear students and teachers! I have an announcement for you. We are going to have a competition between each other! In short, make a project or two with your class. These projects have to be about our school and your attitude towards it. Teachers and students have to being the work right now! All lessons are cancelled. Let the competition begin!"
2659. >Harshwhinny ended her speech and you hear other classrooms explode with joy.
2660. >The same is happening with yours.
2661. >Harshwhinny tried to be really quick and give everybody time to make project.
2662. "Due to new circumstances, new theme is delayed until next lesson. Let's begin!"
2663. >Students rejoice once again and begin to work.
2664. >They pick a few desks and split in groups.
  2665. >Everyone except for one.
  2666. >Twilight didn't find any group.
2667. >She notices you and comes to your desk.
  2668. >"M-may I be with you?"
2669. >She asks, closing her face with a hand.
2670. "Yes, of course! What do you want to do?"
  2671. >"Thank you. I don't know..."
2672. >Twilight frowns and starts to think.
2673. >"Maybe we can draw a picture of our class standing infront of the school and then add some details to make it look cool... I dunno."
2674. "Beautiful idea, Twilight. Begin to draw, I'll help in a few minutes."
2675. >Twilight's idea is sure good but you have one thing in mind.
2676. >If you love the school, you have to like your boss.
  2677. >And that's Harshwhinny.
2678. >You take a piece of paper and start to draw a woman.
2679. >A few minutes more and a sketch of Harshwhinny is ready.
2680. >She's standing with one hand lifted up to the sky.
2681. >You plan to draw the school building here.
2682. >Like she's holding the school on her own.
2683. >That's going to be funny.
2684. >Another few minutes more and full sketch is ready.
2685. >You look at what Twilight have done.
2686. >She drew a few figures and some kind of building behind them.
2687. >The building must be school and figures are her classmates.
2688. >You take the pencil and start to correct the school building by adding a few details.
2689. "You want our school to look like it looks like, right?"
  2690. >Twilight nods.
2691. >When you end with the school building, Twilight starts to draw other students of your class.
2692. >You decide to continue on your picture.
2693. >You take a purple pencil and begin to paint Harshwhinny's jacket, then paint her hair with yellow.
2694. >While you do this, Twilight peacefully draws the picture.
  2695. >She's drawing Moondancer.
2696. >Moondancer stands on the right side, to her left there is Twilight herself and other girls.
2697. >There is a gap in this line of students.
2698. "Twilight, why is there a gap?"
2699. >You point at the picture.
  2700. >"It's your spot, teacher!"
  2701. >Your spot?
  2702. "What do you mean?"
2703. >"Don't be silly, mister teacher! We are drawing picture of us! How can this be a picture of us if you're not on it?"
  2704. >Exactly.
  2705. >You give Twilight a hug.
2706. >You want this competition to last forever.
2707. >You need to make this picture with Twilight.
2708. >You quickly take a few pencil and begin to paint your picture as fast and accurate, as you can.
2709. >After a minute it is done and it is done pretty well.
  2710. "OK, Twilight, let's begin."
2711. >Twilight's eyes light up as you say these words and she immediately gets to work.
2712. >She was waiting for you to end your picture.
  2713. >But why?
  2714. >You don't know.
  2715.
2716. >Time passes and you decide to check what your students are doing.
2717. >As you stand up from your desk, Twilight lifts her head up.
2718. "I'll be back in a few minutes, don't worry."
  2719. >She nods.
2720. >Octavia, Vinyl, Sugarcoat and Sour Sweet are making miniature of school out of plasticine.
2721. >They're doing pretty well actually.
2722. >Sugarcoat and Sour Sweet are making the school itself, Octavia is making little students walking around it and Vinyl is making trees.
2723. >Moondancer and Trixie are in the second group.
  2724. >What a strange combination.
2725. >They're talking to each other and giggling.
2726. >You look what they are doing.
2727. >It's a picture of your class with Harshwhinny standing behind.
  2728. >It seems Trixie made a mistake, that's why they're laughing.
2729. >You leave them and go back to Twilight.
2730. "Ready to do some more?"
  2731. >"Of course!"
2732. >You and Twilight contiune to work on the project.
2733. >You start to work on the background
2734. >School, trees and other things.
2735. >Twilight notices that and decides to work on the background too.
2736. >You guess that she's trying to do everything with you.
2737. >You two finished background in almost no time.
2738. >Twilight decided to take half of the canvas and other half is left for you.
2739. >You begin to paint Octavia.
2740. >Of course Twilight doesn't draw perfectly, so Octavia looks a bit strange.
2741. >Well, in your opinion, it's still better than modern art masterpieces.
2742. >Another 20 minutes pass as you and Twilight are coming to an end.
2743. >You two stop at the gap in the middle of the line.
  2744. >"Teacher! Let's draw you together!"
  2745. >What?
2746. "Wouldn't that be hard, Twilight?"
  2747. >"It wouldn't!"
  2748. "I don't know..."
2749. >Comparing your drawing skills and hers - the result would look slightly not good.
2750. >"Come on! I wanted to draw with you..."
2751. >Shadow of sadness appears in her voice.
  2752. >She's about to cry.
2753. "Yes-yes! Let's draw it together. I don't know what I was thinking - that's what I wanted to say. Of course it would look interesting and... uhm... nice!"
2754. >Twilight lifts up her head, a sudden smile on her face.
2755. >"Let's begin!" - she says with voice so happy, you feel a bit guilty about lying to her and not agreeing with her offer.
2756. >You and Twilight begin to draw 'you'. Left side is for you and the right side is for Twilight.
  2757. >Twilight draws your hand.
2758. >You start doing the same thing.
  2759. >"Teacher?"
  2760. >You watch at Twilight.
2761. >"Let's draw you in T-shirt, not jacket."
2762. >You watch at Twilight's part of the picture.
  2763. >You are in black T-shirt.
2764. >At your part of the picture you are in grey jacket.
2765. >Actually, it'd look cool if everything stays as it is.
2766. >At one part of the project picture it's you in a half of a jacket and at the other part it's you in some T-shirt.
2767. >For some reason you think it'd look cool.
  2768. "You know, Twilight, maybe--"
2769. >Sudden opening of the door interrupted you.
  2770. >It's Harshwhinny.
  2771. >What does she want?
2772. >"Stay calm, students. You can continue doing your projects. Mister Anonymous," - she looks at you, her voice was trembling before, but when she called you, you could definetly hear some kind of... sorrow in her voice, - "I'd ask you to talk to me."
2773. >Harshwhinny quickly gestures you to leave the classroom and goes away.
  2774. >You follow her.
2775. >As you leave the classroom, she closes the door and rushes... to hug you?
  2776. >"Anonymous!"
2777. >She scream in your jacket, so her voice is silenced a bit.
  2778. "Wh-what happened, Mrs. Harshwhinny?"
2779. >You ask her, pulling her away from you and taking her by the shoulders.
2780. >"I-I... I was about to write a paper about your reinstatement as a teacher..."
2781. >Wow, you were acutally fired sometime before.
  2782. >Wait.
  2783. >She 'was about'.
  2784. >She didn't write it.
  2785. "What happened?"
2786. >"P-principal Cinch came into my office and... told that you can't be a teacher again!"
2787. >Harshwhinny kneels down, tears are on her face.
2788. >"Sorry, I'm so sorry. I really wanted you to come back."
2789. >You look into her eyes and see the true regret.
  2790. >Cinch...
  2791. >More like bitch.
2792. >"B-by the document about your expulsion... you can't stay there anymore, Mister Anonymous."
2793. >Everything good that you had in your heart and this moment just vanished.
2794. >It was destroyed by the rigorous fact that you can't change anything.
  2795. >Cinch won't listen to you.
  2796. >Harswhinny can't help anything.
  2797. >But why?
2798. "Why does Cinch have an influence at all?"
2799. >"When she heard that I brought you back, she thought that our schools could be partners again..."
  2800. "Why then-"
2801. >"Why didn't I tell her that I don't want you to get fired? I told her. She said that my school will suffer serious consequences if I won't listen."
2802. >She can manipulate at THAT level?
2803. "But how can she do that?"
2804. >"She has her reputation and money. You know, Anonymous, these two can do anything now."
  2805. >Nothing.
  2806. >Nothing can be changed.
2807. >It seems the only option you have is... to leave?
2808. >"Go to my office, Mister Anonymous... I'll take your stuff while you ink the documents."
2809. "A black bag near the table."
2810. >She nods and you go to her office.
  2811.
2812. >A bunch of papers about you being fired.
2813. >Some of them about you getting paid with no troubles.
2814. >Some about your boss being competent and adequate.
2815. >You need to underwrite each of them and also write a reason why you have been fired.
2816. >After underwriting half of the papers you hear the school bell ring.
2817. >Students come out and bring out their projects.
2818. >You stand up and come closer to the door of the principal's office to hear what students are talking about.
2819. >Everyone is exited about this event.
2820. >You begin to turn away from the door but suddenly you hear Twilight's voice.
2821. >T: "Me and my teacher did it. It is a really nice project, look, Principal Harshwhinny, look!"
2822. >H: "It is amasing, Twilight!" - Harshwhinny tried to make her voice sound as usual as if nothing happened.
2823. >T: "Yeah and if it weren't for my teacher I wouldn't make it! By the way, where he is?"
2824. >H: "He is..." - despite other students being pretty loud, you could hear these two talk and hear Harshwhinny stop.
2825. >H: "He is busy now. You know, papers." - Harshwhinny's voice started to get more silent. A little more silent and you won't hear her.
2826. >T: "I hope he'll come back soon, I want to see if he's glad that I've done! I think he was about to ask about his clothes on this picture..."
2827. >Noise of kids passing by make Twilight's voice hard to understand.
2828. >T: "...and so I decided to make it like this. How teacher wanted. By the way, where he is?"
2829. >H: "I told you, Twilight, he is busy now. He'll come... later."
2830. >When Harshwhinny stops speaking with Twilight, you hear Cheerilee gathering the students.
2831. >You decide to get back to underwriting papers.
2832. >You start to do your last job.
2833. >For some reason the pack of papers looks bigger than it was a few minutes ago.
  2834.
2835. >You didn't pay attention to time and didn't notice how all the noise has gone.
2836. >Papers are finished and now you are officially fired.
2837. >As you put last papers into the document case which Harshwhinny left on the table, she herself comes into the office.
2838. >Her face gets sad as she sees you packing the papers.
2839. >"I guess it is over."
  2840. >You sigh.
  2841. "It is..."
  2842. >"Where'd you go?"
  2843. >That's a good question.
  2844. >You can't go to Crystal Prep.
  2845. >And you don't want to.
  2846. "Canterlot."
  2847. >Harshwhinny raises a brow.
2848. >"I don't think that is a good idea, Mister Anonymous. It's not like it's a bad school but educational level there is quite bad."
2849. "Everything can be fixed, Mrs. Harshwhinny."
2850. >"No need to formalities, Anonymous. I'm not your boss now."
  2851. >She gives you a small smile.
2852. >"Thanks for everything that you've done and... I hope you can forgive me someday."
  2853. "I already did, Harshwhinny."
2854. >"Don't say such things! It is 100% my fault that you got fired. I could listen to you, I could do something, I could decline that second offer from Cinch!"
2855. >Harshwhinny buries her head in her hands.
2856. >"I want you to take something from me."
2857. >She comes closer, a white envelope in her hand.
2858. >She puts it right on your chest.
2859. >No need to guess what is in this envelope.
2860. >"It's your salary for the next month."
  2861. "Why?"
  2862. >"Just take it, Anonymous."
  2863. "No, I can't take it."
2864. >"Yes, you can! Do it if not for you but for me."
2865. >You understand that declining this woman's offer would be bad for her.
2866. >"There's a certain student waiting for you outside the office. I think you should visit her."
  2867. >Twilight?
  2868. >Must be her.
  2869. "Thank you, Harshwhinny."
  2870. >"Farewell, Anonymous."
2871. >You quickly leave Harshwhinny's office and go to your classroom.
2872. >The classroom is closed, Twilight stands near the door.
  2873. >"Teacher!"
2874. >She rushes to you and hugs.
2875. >You take her on your hands and hug her too.
2876. >You're seeing her probably for the last time.
  2877. >You can't hold your tears.
2878. >You put Twilight down and wipe away your tears.
  2879. >"Something happened, teacher?"
2880. >How can you tell her?
  2881. "Ugh..."
2882. >You can't even find the right word.
2883. >"You were crying like that only when... Oh no. Teacher!"
2884. >Twilight rushes to you once more, hugging you with all strength she has.
2885. >"P-please... tell me I'm wrong, teacher! Tell as you always did!"
  2886. "I'm afraid... I can't say that."
  2887. >Twilight bursts into tears.
2888. >However, she tries to calm herself down.
  2889. >"C-can you c-come back as y-you did?"
  2890. "No, Twilight, I can't."
2891. >Twilight is about to start cry.
2892. >You need to prevent her from doing that.
  2893. "Twilight, calm down."
2894. >As you ask her, Twilight stops crying and starts to wipe away her tears.
  2895. >"But w-why? Why are you leaving?"
2896. "That's Murphy's Law, Twi. That's how life works. It will bite you in the ass at the most important moment of your life"
2897. >She smiles at your swearing.
2898. "Don't listen to my words. Swearing is bad."
  2899. >"I know, teacher."
  2900. >Twilight suddenly perks up.
2901. >"I remembered! Our project got first place at the competition! I decided to make everything how you started to do it and it worked out!"
2902. >You feel so proud of her.
2903. >"I drew half of you in jacket and a half in a T-shirt. Mrs. Harshwhinny said that uhh..."
2904. >Twilight tries to remember something.
2905. >"She said that 'it shows how close are the students and the teacher and represents the true unity between everybody' or something like that."
  2906. >As you expected.
2907. >"But where would you go, teacher?"
  2908. "Canterlot High School."
2909. >"If you are going there, then I will follow you when I will grow up!"
  2910. >You giggle.
  2911. "Listen, Twi."
2912. >You come closer to Twilight and squat, so your faces are on the same level.
2913. "Promise me one thing. Promise me that you are going to study well."
2914. >That's why you are worried. Twilight started studying only because you had done something with her.
2915. >If you leave, she will stop studying.
  2916. >"I promise."
2917. >Twilight says as she puts her hand on her chest and then on yours.
2918. >"If I want to follow you, I have to study harder than ever. And I will!"
  2919. "Thank you, Twilight."
2920. >You stand up and start to leave.
2921. >"And don't try to leave when I will come to your high school, teacher! That would not be fair!"
  2922. >You giggle once again.
2923. "We'll see if you get there, Twilight!"
  2924. >"I will, I promised!"
2925. >You wave her off and go to your car.
  2926. >What a strange day.
2927. >You came back to your job.
  2928. >You began a competition.
  2929. >You got fired again.
2930. >And you managed to make your retirement look not bad.
2931. >Twilight is not very sad.
2932. >You just have to wait until Twilight comes to your high school.
  2933. >It may take a long time.
  2934.
  2935. THE END.
