- Here's Danny.. and today DICE has shown the Battlefield 5 trailer, and gave out a ton of info
- if you havent seen it, its on the official Battlefield page, i can't use it as background footage because it gives copyright strikes apparently
- And i honestly have no idea what to say, One of the few times im actually speechless
- No idea where to start honestly
- I will try to make a quick rundown of everything, and wherever needed give some info to make this video as short as possible
- I guess ill start off with the new stuff
- For the gameplay side of things
- Ammo 2.0 is active, spawn with less stuff till you get more ammo or loot it from enemies, includes ammo and probably nades
- health doesnt fully regen,
- There's spotting changes, but no info on that
- Attachments and all return to the guns, including visual customisation.. but more on that later
- All normal classes return, however there's also subclasses, for example a recon with a bolt action, or a recoil with a suppressed SMG and throwingknifes
- Fortifications, rebuild destroyed stuff like houses and cover
- Support can build faster, and can replace emplacements, like going from an MG to something else
- More and better destruction, for example a tank driving into a building leaves a hole
- Reviving got a big overhaul
- Any class can revive squad members, longer animation and not to 100% health
- Revives in general take longer, so maybe even less people will revive,
- You can also drag them into cover, luckily
- Also Every death is serverside, so where your body lands on the ground is where you have to get revived
- If you don;'t get revived
- The squad respawn screen is reworked with an over the shoulder cam if your squadmates, you will know if its safe
- The map view spawn is also still there from BF1
- Bullet penetration will be a thing, with LMG's breaking trough thin walls and will probably result in people complaining about the netcode
- In vehicle radios might return.. i hope so
- Talking about vehicles, Tanks can tow things foreward, like stationary emplacementss
- Also when joining the game you automatically join a squad

- Then there is the Gunplay
- There's No visual recoil, which is nice
- but we now get recoil patterns and bullets go where you aim..
- No word on how suppression will work, but soldiers and classes do have a suppression resistance meter
- ____
- The Customisation includes faces, gender, skins, helmets and detailling on the guns like leaves to cover it
- Also clothing items like uniforms.. and i guess prosthetics and hair... Did you see the dude that looked like Kratos?
- Also vehicles can have random details added like a teddybear.. or horse head.. What the hell die

- Movement
- You can crouch sprint like in PUBG, however it is slower
- You can jump trough windows to instantly break em
- You can dive to your side or back, like in Rainbow six Siege
- In third person soldiers can stumble
- They also react to the world around them
- Also when jumping down, the player will make a combat roll, so they keep their momentum
- No idea how this looks in first person tho
- You cal also shoot while falling
- Also when an explosion happens you can fall on your feet from the blast, not sure how i feel about that
- Luckily it seems like explosives are brought to a minimum.. but still, there's always vehicles

- Progression
- There will be an ingame currency, no idea if it ties in to just the microtransactions, or also the weapons
- There's daily, weekly and montly assignments
- ____
- Gamemodes
- Operations will return as multi day battles that span across different types of modes
- If no clear winner is decided at the third day the game will switch to a fourth day with a sudden death system
- Frontlines will luckily return with some changes
- Same for classic conquest with the majority rule, also other standard gamemodes like TDM
- DICE also has a lot of serverside sliders to change anything, from what vehicles spawn or weapons are available
- not sure if server owners have access.. or if they still exist

- Monitization
- Premium is gone, funded by Microtransctions
- And there will be no loowboxes No lootboxes
- The trailer didn't really do the game justice i think, made it look more like Battlefield heroes part 2 than what it actually is
- Looking at these changes, makes it sound like the game is a lot slower paced, which is nice
- not sure how the revive and gunchanges are gonna affect the game

- We'll travel to atleast norway, and to the Netherlands where we visit Arnhem and destroy the city of Rotterdam
- Looks like the map shown in the trailer is operation market garden from Battlefiekd 1942
- The game releases on my birthdau, 19 october
- A deluxe version will release a few days earlier
