Subject 0005 - "The Doll in Blue"

Containment Procedure:

Subject 0005 is to be kept in a standard research bay container. Omicron class personnel must be accompanied by two (2) Sigma class guards when entering Subject 0005's container. Omicron class personnel must be thoroughly examined to confirm absolutely no skin is left uncovered by the Mark 5 Lambda Hazardous Material Suit (MV-HAZMAT) Sigma class guards are obligated to terminate any Omicron researcher who exhibits sign of possession. Psi class personnel on cleanup detail must be accompanied by three (3) Sigma class guards and should be terminated if skin comes in contact with Subject 0005.

Description:

Subject 0005 appears as a nineteenth (19th) century Bisque doll of relatively good condition adorned in a light blue, pristine dress. The dress is incapable of being soiled despite many attempts, always remaining pristine (testing with soil, excrement, food dye, and after Incident 40, blood). Subject 0005 is capable of possessing and controlling any person who's skin comes in contact with the Subject (See Document A). Those in contact have been filed as a subunit of Subject 0005 (As of now subunits 0005-1 through 0005-4). The dolls victims act as children, hugging and playing with the doll. When the doll is removed the subunits become enraged, attacking anyone in their path with no concern for their well-being. Subject 0005 cannot possess a person unless it comes in direct contact with said persons skin. Subject 0005 will emit a soft giggle while in possession of a subunit, and it has been proven that it will whisper to the victim (See Document B). So far Subject 0005 has proven to be inanimate.

Discovery:

Subject 0005 was uncovered after the accidental discovery that the same doll was present in a string of pictures of children's rooms whose former residents were the victims of homicide. The doll always appeared either on the left side of the bed or to the left of the bed itself. This discovery led to the creation of the Psi class Victim Research Unit (VRU), not to be confused with Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU). Posing as a private eye, Omega 128 contacted the [REDACTED] family of [REDACTED], Essex, England whose child was victim of a kidnapping and homicide on [REDACTED]/[REDACTED]/19[REDACTED]. The Omega agent managed to track the doll to [REDACTED], Suffolk, England. The doll was discovered with [REDACTED], renamed Subject 0005-1. Subject 0005-1 was terminated upon assaulting Omega 128. The doll was left at the site and recovered later by Mark IV Lambda Protective Suit (MIV-LPS) equipped Omega agents.

Rho 224 and 227 instructed to enter Subject 0005's container. Rho 224 is equipped with a standard MIV-LPS while Rho 227 wears his generic Rho class scrubs. Rho 224 is instructed to pick up the doll and hug it, he complies and holds the doll with no seen consequence (confirmed after medical examination). Rho 224 is then instructed to remove the suit and put on the pair of gardening gloves. He complies and is then instructed to pick up the doll again. Rho 224 repeats this process with the standard medical examination gloves. Container is opened and two (2) Sigma class guards enter, escorting Rho 224 from the container. Rho 227 is then instructed to hold the doll. He complies and is immediately possessed. The Sigma guards enter the container and attempt to remove the doll from Rho 227 (now Subject-0005-2) ended with Rho 227's termination as he assaulted them. The doll is confirmed to need to touch skin to possess its victims. We have theorized that children are immune to this possession, but it may mark them for death(?) Testing on children denied

Document B

Rho 234 was purposely possessed by Subject 0005, becoming Subject 0005-3). Three (3) Sigma class guards removed Subject 0005 and incapacitated Subject 0005-4, transporting him to a separate holding container equipped with a two way intercom. The exact transcripts of the events were destroyed during Incident 16 by Subject 0005-4 before his termination. (See Addendum B-2). It was confirmed that Subject 0005 communicates with those it possesses, but researches failed to confirm exactly what it said.

Addendum B-1

Destroyed during Incident 16 by Subject 0005-4, leading to confirmation that Subject 0005 is an intelligent being that is aware we are researching it and does not wish to be known.

Addendum B-2

During Incident 16 one member, formerly Zeta 132, was pushed back after an encounter with Subject 0013, where part of his MIV-LPS was seared from his body. His skin, though burnt, came into contact with Subject 0005 and Zeta 132 subsequently became Subject 0005-4. Subject 0005-4 made his way to the Data Storage and destroyed Addendum B-1 as well as most of Subject 0005's file. Subject 0005-4 was terminated upon contact with other Zeta class security personnel and Subject 0005 was returned to its container. Most of the file has been rebuilt, but future testing in order to understand the voice of Subject 0005 has failed to produce results.
