there's random encounters
so like you may come across traders or enemies or what not
if you hvae like wild wasteland you can come across way funnier/cooler/easter egg stuff
so since the world is decently big i wanted to have 3 modes of travel
A paid "door" service where in cities you can pay to travel to other cities via wizards that can cast dimensional doors
A cheaper balloon service but would take some time
and then Carriage which is optimal for travel amongst a country but not cross country that is significantly cheaper
the carriage system would have let you also, if wanted, to do random encounters
so someone would roll a d20 and then you may come across a trader or get stopped by bandits or come across someone in need or very rarely come across treasure
