  1. [01:17] Ysorra says, "I found a few things while I was out robbing."
  2. [01:17] Noel Serpente asks, "What'cha find?"
  3. [01:17] Ysorra says, "That."
  4. [01:18] Ysorra says, "And- Uhh, a bunch of things, really."
  5. [01:18] Ysorra says, "Also, I don't know if Rakhan told you."
  6. [01:18] Ysorra says, "But he quit the challenge."
  7. [01:18] Ysorra says, "It's why I tried to kill him."
  8. [01:18] Noel Serpente says, "Oh, damn."
  9. [01:18] Ysorra asks, "....Wait. You knew I tried to kill him, right?"
  10. [01:18] Noel stares forward.
  11. (Noel Serpente)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [01:18] Ysorra says, "That's... That's why I was in the temple."
  15. [01:18] Noel Serpente asks, "...y...yes?"
  16. [01:18] Noel Serpente says, "I totally knew that."
  17. [01:18] Ysorra says, "..."
  18. [01:18] Ysorra says, "You had no clue."
  19. [01:18] Ysorra says, "Holy shit."
  20. [01:18] Ysorra says, "Right. SO."
  21. [01:19] Noel Serpente says, "No, I was fully knowing."
  22. [01:19] Ysorra says, "I tried to kill my brother."
  23. [01:19] Ysorra says, "I lost."
  24. [01:19] Noel Serpente says, "I am always fully knowing."
  25. [01:19] Ysorra says, "Yeah, this is."
  26. [01:19] Ysorra says, "Me."
  27. [01:19] Ysorra says, "Explaining to the audience."
  28. [01:19] Ysorra says, "Not you, Noel."
  29. [01:19] Ysorra says, "I know you know."
  30. [01:19] Noel Serpente says, "Oh, ok."
  31. [01:19] Ysorra says, "Anyways."
  32. [01:19] Ysorra says, "I tried to kill him. Lost."
  33. [01:19] Ysorra says, "Went a little nuts from brain damage, and blood loss."
  34. [01:19] Ysorra says, "Thought I /had/ killed him."
  35. [01:20] Ysorra says, "And was sitting in a ruined temple thinking it was my kingdom."
  36. [01:20] Ysorra says, "Turns out? Nope. I was just losing my fucking mind."
  37. [01:20] Ysorra says, "And I kicked our leader's ass while being really fucking wounded."
  38. [01:21] Noel Serpente says, "Okay I was there for that part."
  39. [01:21] Ysorra says, "You were. Yeah."
  40. [01:21] Ysorra says, "If I wasn't batshit insane at the time. I'd like to think it was pretty cool."
  41. [01:21] Ysorra says, "Alas..."
  42. [01:21] Ysorra says, "So yeah. Now you- And by you, I mean the audience."
  43. [01:21] Ysorra says, "Is in the know."
  44. [01:22] Noel Serpente says, "Yeah, they have no excuses now."
  45. [01:22] Ysorra says, "Mhm."
  46. [01:22] Noel Serpente asks, "Now why are talking about this again?"
  47. [01:22] Ysorra says, "Uhh-"
  48. [01:22] Ysorra says, "Oh right."
  49. [01:22] Ysorra says, "Rakhan lost the bet."
  50. [01:22] Ysorra says, "Because he quit."
  51. [01:22] Ysorra says, "That's what it was."
  52. [01:22] Noel Serpente says, "Owned."
  53. [01:22] Ysorra says, "Yeah."
  54. [01:22] Ysorra says, "What a fucking idiot."
  55. [01:22] Noel Serpente says, "Well, y'know what that means."
  56. [01:22] Noel Serpente says, "First picks on you."
  57. [01:22] Ysorra says, "I win by default."
  58. [01:23] Ysorra says, "Well, I have some stuff."
  59. [01:23] Ysorra says, "Some /cool/ things."
  60. [01:23] Ysorra says, "If I do say so myself."
  61. [01:24] Noel Serpente says, "How about you nab a few of 'em and we'll see what we can do."
  62. [01:24] Ysorra says, "Sure. Sounds fun."
  63. [01:29] Ysorra says, "Right. So I."
  64. [01:29] Ysorra says, "Have terrible vision."
  65. [01:29] Ysorra says, "I don't know how I missed you."
  66. [01:30] Noel Serpente says, "Okay, show me the goods."
  67.
  68. [01:42] The goods.
  69.
  70. The things he had acquired from either robbing a home, or by risking his own life on a plethora of expeditions. "Right, soooo." He mutters, as he lowered himself down onto a single knee. "I got a bunch of neat things." Several neat things.
  71.
  72. First, comes the simplest of the items. A piece of arcanium. Which is set on the table next to him. Which is swiftly followed by a rather special piece of arcanium. Next, is some snazzy mythril, then the scale, and the essence of water.
  73.
  74. "And these two are a tad-" He blinks. "Hard to handle, I suppose." The Draconic hate is taken within his hands, and in an instant the image of his brother flashes within his eyes, and he's mere moments away from having another outburst- Until of course, it's set on the table next to him.
  75.
  76. Safe from it's influence.
  77.
  78. "Ahaha... Yeah." He shudders, as he pulls forth the essence of envy. And again, it's influence begins to pour into his mind. Noel's skills as an artificer?
  79.
  80. It should be him who held that talent, not her-
  81.
  82. No, no.
  83.
  84. Those thoughts are pushed to the back of his mind, as it's set down next to the other items. "And, then there's this golden ticket, but uhh- Pretty sure this doesn't have any real use."
  85.
  86. Nod. Nod.
  87.
  88. "That should be everything."
  89. (Ysorra)
  90. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  91.
  92. [02:16] Eyes glaze over the immense amount of items left at her disposal. The increased number of knick-knacks obtained from a plethora of sources honestly had the Therian at a stand still.
  93.
  94. "Wow." She was speechless. "I was honestly not expectin' to see this many things."
  95.
  96. One-by-one, she hops from item to item, peering over their worth and usage just as a realization hit: she had no idea what to do just yet. Not always could she thrive on the spot, but she tries.
  97.
  98. "Hmmmmmm," she hums, raising a finger to Ysorra, as if expecting a word from him. "Gimme a minute. Inspiration's still on its way."
  99.
  100. For a few moments, she stands silently humming to herself. Moments turn to minutes as she continues to stare silently upon the items at hand.
  101.
  102. Only at the crack of an idea does her countenance lights up. "Aha!" Only first steps of course. There was many to unpack after all.
  103.
  104. She fingers point over to the two most physical and material-esque items available: the Samurai Mythril and the Arcanium. "We start here," she opens. The other more... 'unstable' items being best left to wait. "Metal that's perfect for the bow's main base. No strings though. I have a better idea for that, heh."
  105.
  106. Slowly, her gilded forge begins to hum as it ignites to life. A preparation unlike any other. "We'll use my place for now. But I have an idea for one of the components, but it'll need the dragonforge."
  107.
  108. However, for now, the much more simple act of setting off the metals into the fire for casting is begun.
  109. (Noel Serpente)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. [02:25] Truth be told, he wasn't certain if all of the things he'd acquired could be put to use creating anything. Then again, he was never was, nor would he be a craftsman, BUT! If anyone was capable of coming up with any sort of idea as to what to do with the plethora of things he's acquired, it'd be Noel.
  113.
  114. That much he was certain of.
  115.
  116. No matter how long her silence lingered, his confidence in her didn't waver in the slightest. She'd figure it out, and- It seems like his confidence in her would be rewarded.
  117.
  118. She had figured it out!
  119.
  120. "Ah, the metals?" While she had only pointed to the Samurai Mythril, and the Arcanium, he glances over towards the Arc Of The Covenant. "Did you want that one as well, or just the normal arc, and the... Weird samurai metal?" He'd, ask as he scooped all three up, offering them towards Noel.
  121.
  122. Though of course, if she didn't need the Arc of the Covenant, it'd be set to the side for the time being.
  123.
  124. Better to need it and not have it, than to need it and not have it.
  125.
  126. "And, it's fine." He mutters. "Wherever works best for whatever it is you're planning is fine by me. If we need to move, we need to move." He shrugs. "I'll be following your lead on all of this. I may not know what to do, but I can follow instructions."
  127.
  128. A swift nod of his head follows.
  129.
  130. "So, lead on."
  131. (Ysorra)
  132. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  133.
  134. [02:41] "No, no, no," she answered, her palms faced to him in a declining gesture as if to emphasize against the special arcanium's usage for the base. "I have a special plan for that one."
  135.
  136. "But no, for now, we work with the normal stuff." Ideally, that of the two mentioned items.
  137.
  138. Into the fire they are tested. The metals glowing into the brilliance of orange as the heat of the flames begin to envelop them in a fiery heat.
  139.
  140. "Y'don't need to do much for this phase," she reveals. "This'll probably be the easiest thing to do." Surely, for an experienced smith as Noel, this was child's play.
  141.
  142. "Y'know, for all the things I made, there's usually a bigger purpose behind all of 'em," she ponders. "Foster's was because he's a fucking lazy bastard. Ferris' was something to prove himself higher than anyone else he's faced. Nyatasha's was... well, what Nyatasha normally does."
  143.
  144. "But what about you?"
  145.
  146. Slowly, the bow's base is made, molded from the combined ingots of imported mythril and ideal arcanium as the main body of the weapon is made. It was blank and was only as priceless as the materials used, yet what was to be added was brimming with potential.
  147. (Noel Serpente)
  148. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  149.
  150. [02:57] Ah, well it seems as if the Arc Of The Covenant wasn't needed. For the moment that is. So, it'd be set down next to the other materials that were presently vibing on the table.
  151.
  152. Nice, and secure.
  153.
  154. "Normal stuff it is." You wouldn't hear him complaining. "Right. So I guess I can just kinda…" Sienna hues flick around the room, as he searches for an ideal place to plop himself down onto. In the end, he opts to just vibe on the table where a good portion of his items were lurking. Well, not really lurking.
  155.
  156. Where they were situated.
  157.
  158. "Huh? Oh. Hm..." His head tilts to the side, as he silently ponders what the bigger purpose behind his weapon would be. In the end, he opts to start with, "Well, I suppose the answer I should give is that I intend to use it to slay Naysien's enemies."
  159.
  160. There's a pause, a brief moment of hesitation, as he contemplates just leaving it at that, but... No. He couldn't.
  161.
  162. "That's what I'd like to say but," There was always a but wasn't there? "That would be a lie." His head begins to slowly descend down, and then back up in a nod. "Foster is lazy. Ferris wants to prove he's the greatest. Nyatasha is Nytasha- But me?"
  163.
  164. What did he want?
  165.
  166. "I just want one thing." There's another pause. This one is far longer than the previous one. "I want Rakhan dead."
  167. (Ysorra)
  168. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  169.
  170. [03:13] Noel, for the sake and purposes of ideal form, takes her time. Each bend and curve built all for the purpose of durability and agility, a combination befitting that of such a sprightly style.
  171.
  172. Amidst their conversation, the completion of the initial base of the weapon occurs, yet that easily was not the focal point of this moment.
  173.
  174. She had expected the service to Naysien, that much was obvious. She had wanted a more specific answer... which she got.
  175.
  176. "So. Let me get this straight." She had, by now, finished the initial work. The cooling arcanium-mythril alloy she had formed for the base of the bow has begun to set and harden as she turns to Ysorra, a dead-pan yet curious visage covering her countenance. "You want. To kill. Rakhan? Rakhan your brother? That Rakhan? We're not talking about another Rakhan, right?"
  177. (Noel Serpente)
  178. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  179.
  180. [03:16] "Noel."
  181.
  182. He states the girl's name aloud, as his arms found themselves in a rather comfortable position folded across his chest. "We quite literally had a conversation about how I tried to kill him like what, thirty minutes ago?" His head tilts to the side, as he tries to remember how long it had been. Then a thought hits him.
  183.
  184. Did it matter?
  185.
  186. No. Not in the slightest.
  187.
  188. "I don't know why you need me to state it again, but I can, and will say it." He's silent for a few moments, as he clears his throat. "Yes. I want to kill Rakhan. I want him dead more than anything else." There was no hesitation, or doubt within his words. Each one of them flowed from his lips with the conviction of a horrendously jealous brother.
  189.
  190. "And, he is no brother of mine."
  191.
  192. He had sworn off the Olberic name after their last bout. A name he wouldn't reclaim until his brother was six feet deep, or even better, fed to the wyverns.
  193.
  194. That'd be swell.
  195.
  196. "Do you need me to say it again, or will that suffice?"
  197. (Ysorra)
  198. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  199.
  200. [03:43] Always scatterebrained she was when keeping focus on conversation. It was a surprise she had even managed to catch it earlier.
  201.
  202. "I'm just makin' sure!" A curt exclamation. Perhaps just to clarify that, one day, the same weapon she were in the process of making would have a hand in the folly of Rakhan.
  203.
  204. Should she be worried? Perhaps. But then again, what would make Naysien happier than for one to act upon a wishful hope for revenge?
  205.
  206. Truly a conundrum.
  207.
  208. "If y'feel cathartic sayin' it again you can say it as many times as you'd like." An invitation clearly set.
  209.
  210. She steps back, the bow in-question ideally complete on its first stage. "Well, we should be done here," she mutters. "The rest... we can finish in the dragonforge."
  211.
  212. "But I'll warn you now, it'll be less standing for you and—probably—will need more heavy liftin' from you." Just a small heads up. But if there were no other interjections, she would opt to begin clean up and movement.
  213. (Noel Serpente)
  214. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  215.
  216. [03:53] Right. She was just making sure. Yeah, that checked out.
  217.
  218. "Sure, sure." He mutters, arms uncrossing from his chest, as he leapt off of the table sienna hues drifting over towards Noel's work, as his lips curled into a smile. The first step had been finished, but there was clearly more that needed to come.
  219.
  220. "As much as I'd love to continue saying it, I doubt you'd like to hear me repeat it over, and over again."
  221.
  222. He does that enough on his own. He needn't harass Noel's ears with him rambling about his desire to kill his brother. He's done that enough already.
  223.
  224. "Right. The dragonforge." He's seen it only in passing, and even then it was something to be admired. "Well, if it'll need me to be active for it, then I suppose." A hand would move to cover up his lips, as he let out a rather loud yawn.
  225.
  226. "We should probably finish this at a later date."
  227.
  228. A swift, and decisive nod of his head follows.
  229.
  230. "Whenever we're both free next, I suppose." Which hopefully shouldn't be too far into the future. "Sound good?"
  231.
  232. Hopefully it did.
  233. (Ysorra)
  234. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  235.
  236. [03:54] Noel Serpente says, "This can work."
  237. [03:54] Ysorra says, "Perfect."
  238.
