- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- Contrary to what you might want to believe, I have NOT been sitting on that pun for ages. (I’m just that much of a genius. …>_>) I say it to show just how much I am about to beat myself up in Nintendo Puzzle Collection. I got the sub-11 I wanted in S-Hard last week. Now it’s time for V-Hard. Pokemon Puzzle League S-Hard is one level of frustrating, but NPC V-Hard turns it up to 11 due to the difference in combo garbage handling. The same tricks will be harder to pull off as a result so I expect A LOT more variance in the times I do get and A LOT more frustration. Re-watching syuga’s record run has given me some ideas… and some extra motivation. I had forgotten that syuga’s run had a loss in it. That kind of thing triggered me in Pokemon Puzzle League for so many years. This category is the hardest VS COM category that exists. It does not deserve to have its best representation be a flawed run with a loss. I will do my best over the next two weeks to change that. After that, there may be another event that prompts me to do something else. This will mostly be based on my mood. I will keep you posted.
- In other stream news, I have added a new incentive to my incentives list: https://pastebin.com/QhF4qTGL. You can now have me go back to old games I have done speedruns of and try to improve my times! (provided that the game is not part of a subscriber goal or other incentive) The rate is currently $40/hour for a category that I have done before. You can also have me do categories I have never done before for $80/hour. I keep noticing some old runs of mine get neglected of games that only certain people in my audience enjoy. This way, you can motivate me to give those runs some love once again!
- Also, I removed the requirement that new Tier 1 subscriptions had to not be from Twitch Prime to get the 15 minutes incentive. That was a dumb idea. I also enabled this for those who had hit yearly milestones with their subscriptions (12 months, 24 months, 36 months, etc.) as encouragement to continue their subs for longer.
- Finally, to bury the lead, I am now allowing PARTIAL tips towards my incentives! For instance, you no longer need to give $100 in a single tip for a 100% Puzzle League run. You can put in $5 at a time until you get to $100. Multiple people can pool their funds to make it happen, too. I should have done this from the start. Oh well. - By the way, I have not forgotten about the incentive streams I have promised. I’ve just had duties to the puzzle community to fulfill in my recent Saturdays regarding possible future tournament streams. ;) Puzzle General will tell you when those streams happen so all I’m saying right now is stay tuned. I might be able to get back to those incentive streams within the next month or so.
