AA2 Basic Modding Tutorial

Disclaimer: I didn't used any links for mods since they still get updates. So, to avoid you getting an older version, just go to the main pastebin and get the links there. Main pastebin: http://pastebin.com/BhpfXqHP

If you are still having issue with the installation, you can search for "aa2 installation guide for idiots" on Youtube; even thought it is pretty outdated, the main installation it's pretty much the same until you get to the DLC. Just download the "all updates" zip on the main pastebin and run the .exes with japanese locale.

Once you have the maker and main game installed, you will need some mods. Download the Illusion Wizard(main pastebin under Utilities) to install the mods. The Wizard is kind of like Nexus Manager for other games, like Skyrim. Drop the Wizard folder in your aa2 folder and open it with jap locale. Be sure to have AA2_Play selected before clicking Play. Once you have that, download all the .7z mods you want(put them on Wizard/AA2_Play/mods) and install them with it(some of them do not install with the Wizard, just read the readmes if they have one to verify this). Refresh the Wizard if the mods are not showing. While installing mods, the Wizard will say Not Responding and will turn white-ish, don't worry, it is normal and it's installing the mods, just give it time. Some mods take a lot, depending on the mod itself and your PC, don't panic.

To play "properly" this game with all of the lolg cards you will need:
°Freckels mod(already listed on the lolg mega) for Leona. She will turn of african american decent otherwise.
°Frontier Pack launchers(main pastebin under launchers) so you can have the abnormal skin tones for cards like Morgana, Eve, Soraka, etc. Just download the .exes and put them right beside the maker exe(AA2Edit.exe) and main game exe(AA2Play.exe). Once you have these ones, you will need to run them with jap locale instead of the original .exes, you won't have those skin tones unlocked otherwise. They also have some other fixes/upgrades.
°Translations/Subs. I highly recommend the AA2 Subtitle Overlay(http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php/430353?p=3567112#post3567112). Follow the instructions on the post, there's even some steps so you can have each card with a different color. Remember that the order it follows(so you can have the names on them instead of just the subtitle) is from left to right, and top to bottom(obviously). The teacher is always the last one, so you'll need to skip that space until last.
°Extra Personalities(main pastebin under personalities). Succubus for Eve, Apricot for Miss Fortune, Janna, and Jinx, and Big Sister for Leona; if not they will be friendly for default, all of them. It's pretty easy, just download the personality .7z's and follow the readme's; it's just drag and drop some files into the maker's data folder and the play's data folder. I suggest downloading them all for future cards you might download.

Other highly recommended mods since most other mods will use them:
°HEXA Hairpack(main pastebin right under Mods) so you can have more hair styles available and some fixes.
°HEXA Override Collection(main pastebin under hexa hairpack) since some cards won't be able to move their mouths while talking and couple of other fixes.
°ReiEdit(main pastebin under cheats & editors). This one is not really needed at all but it's very helpful since it allows you to change the card itself without altering your current progress on the game, for example, if you are already playing and realize that the card you are trying to fug is purely hetero and you are of the same sex, you can go to ReiEdit and change the card's orientation or hair color, boob size, traits etc. without having to start from scrath.
°Thicker Tigh/AsS(www69.zippyshare.com/v/0Q0Z8CyW/file.html). Recently someone in the /aa2g/ posted the 2nd version of this mod and it can be a good option since there's no ass slider on the game itself.

Optional recommended mods:
You can de-censor this game if you want. There's 2d and 3d uncensors, so pick the one of your choice, here are the 2 most used ones
°3D MK-III Uncensor(main pastebin under uncensors). Genitals and pubes will be on 3D(obviously) now. Put them on your mods folder on the wizard and apply.
°SVII 2D Uncensor(main pastebin under uncensors). Same as the other one, just this one will be on 2D, duh.
Both of these mods have their own clothing collection(with censor or 2d or 3d uncensor) so you can have more clothing options for other cards you get or cards you wanna make.
If you get the MKIII uncens, get the HEXA Clothing Collection(main pastebin under clothing collections). Up to you if you want it to be censored/uncensored and how you want it to install it(with or without Wizard, highly recommend the Wizard one if you want to uninstall it in the future). Download the proper .7z's and apply.
If you got the SVII, get the SVII Clothing Collection(main pastebin under HEXACC). Same as above.

Some other cards have specific mods that you will need to have to display them properly, for example, some cards will have scars on their eyes, or special outfits, so read carefully the info on the card. You can open the card in ReiEdit to read the info and get the links, since most of the time, people link the mods needed on the metadata in the card itself.

And for last; when you download a card always make sure to download the eye texture and highlight. If they have custom ones, above the picture of the card there would be a "download eye texture" and "download eye highlight" option. Once you download them, you will need to put them on your aa2 folder/aa2maker/data/texture and "eye" for eye textures and "hilight" for highlight texures, pretty self-explanatory.
