today is a day of loose ends and tying those loose ends together in a way that won't make them just come untied as soon as you pull even the slightest bit on each side and then break down crying because isn't that just a metaphor for your life

for instance, marcello has finally finished up the USUM scripting and data side of things, or so he thought until i reminded him of his sins in the form of missing field effect stuff and TMs for the gruesome USUM crewsome, but i mean, close enough.

and mean while since he finally finished those and added alolaly support for them i went ahead and added the new USUM tutor moves into the game. there were seven new ones i believe:

-defog
-laser focus
-ally switch (marcello and i agree, why bother, gamefreak.)
-telekinesis (see above/10)
-liquidation
-throat chop
-stomping tantrum

sooo the first four have been added to a new tutor on 7th street, (where tutor moves go to die*) and the others have been distributed among the E16 tutors.
*some exceptions may apply

there was also one other move added... Volt Tackle, for Pikachu only. I suppose it's just an alternative to breeding, but I went ahead and added it. of course, there's really only one place that could be remotely acceptable for a move like that, so the volt tackle tutor
has been snuck squarely... into nyu's ground story room.

i say "snuck in there" but it's not really quiet...

no points for guessing which one is the one in question... i've decided to call him the Pikaguru. i decided this four seconds before typing that last sentence, which means it's canon now.
not like this matters but i also went through all the pikachus in his house and varried their movement frequencies so they don't all start moving for the first time unison like some kind of pikachu-thiller dance video.

and in addition to that, gen 7 item icons have been collected and added into the game so baaaaascially the only thing left for me for USUM is the sprites.
and that's what streams are for.
not going crazy.
