- Overall analysis:
- FJ's first post is bare bones as usual, especially compared to Embrace's more thorough R1, but they both brought something good to the table for the R2.
- First, the issue of the hounds. Since the Predator knows where his dogs are at all times (as well as having a 3D map of the arena), he can recognize Masque immediately if she tries to approach him in that guise. The feat used to bolster her disguise tech's capabilities comes from an episode after the feats she's stipulated for. Trying to approach Predator disguised as a hound will not work. However, I do not see the hounds causing her much trouble; they are very slow in comparison and she has many options that can either hurt or one shot them. Thus, Masque's disguise tricks will not work, and the fight will become a 1v1.
- Masque is faster than Predator, and she is more skilled and a better shot than Predator (I do not buy the idea that having a knife immediately overrules what FJ calls "best in the world training"). She is good enough to dodge his primary ranged weapon and can escape to higher ground if necessary. However, he can tank her tasers based on the lightning bolt feat. Either it can enter melee or a firefight. If it enters a firefight, I believe Madame Masque would have the advantage with her non-electric weaponry, since FJ presents no durability for the Predator to counter these weapons, and she has the aiming and speed advantage. If the fight enters a melee, while things are less favorable to Masque, FJ doesn't really provide durability feats for the Predator, and as established, Masque has the speed and skill advantage. She is more likely to hit him than he is to hit her, and she can retreat if need be and make it a ranged fight where she has the advantage. Overall, it seems like Masque has the edge, so I give Embrace the win.
