Rosette's life was first lived on a beautiful planet known as Terra Current. Terra Current, during it's time, was known as one of the most vibrant and astonishing planets to visit, and even live on. Civilizations among Terra Current spring with live, having little to no problems. But Rose's own village... Did have a problem. The Casharn Dynasty was to blame for that problem. It was an empire that had a capital known as Rohout. That capital wanted to expand it's own borders by claiming land around it, and building the capital to greater lengths. Apparently.. Rosette's village, known as Neutte, was in the way of an expansion. The leader of the Dynasty wanted the village to submit to their rule and live with the capital. The mayor of the village refused to all of the capital's messages, saying that they are independent and wish to live in their village as they are now. The capital retaliated these decisions by sending troops to the village to burn it down. The village caught whiff and tried to send out of plea for help. 2 hours later... The troops arrived and began to invade the village, taking anyone who stood in their way as prisoners. Or just slaying them. Rose's family, consisting of herself, father and two brothers, was cornered by a gang of soldiers before those very soldiers were taken down within eye blinks. The family's saviors? The Shadow Hunters Reborn. They listened to the Emergency Distress Signal and hauled their way to Terra Current. They fought back the troops that invaded and won. But some of the invading soldiers got away. Soon after, it was revealed that Rosette actually sent out the signal due to the mayor's request. She was the most indulged in technology in her hometown. Brendan Striker, the leader of the SHR, was actually there with the group of Hunters that found the distress signal. He gave some talks to Rose and the mayor about how the Clan works and takes jobs. The mayor, liking what was heard, wanted to hire the SHR to protect the village, and take down the Casharn Dynasty. Brendan agreed with the mayor, and Neutte was under the Clan's protection. Rose got to know Brendan for the time he was on Terra Current. It was about 4 or so months keeping the village intact, and also gathering intel about the capital. With Rose's help of course, it went smoothly. Sometimes the SHR had to help neighboring towns from being destroyed too. The Dynasty really wanted a sort of rule no one probably wanted in the first place...

During that time, Rosette and Brendan got too much close to one another. Eventually, they became a couple. Even if it was in hard times, it looked like they were made for each other. One day, the village received a emergency signal from a small city. However, the distance was a little far... Brendan had the idea of splitting the squadron up. First half heads out to suppress the troops at that designated city, while the rest guard the village. They thought it was a good plan to make sure nothing would go wrong. But... It did. Brendan and Rose, with half the squadron, found out that the signal at the city was never made by any of the residents there. It was a decoy by the capital. Lone to fall for the decoy, Brendan and the crew raced back to the village as fast as they could. By the time they arrived, it was already raided... Many of the village folk were taken into custody and locked away, including the mayor and councilmen. Everyone wasn't quite glad, Brendan and Rose included. The Hunters that stayed behind were all alive, thankfully. They got information that everyone was taken into a prison camp, that also served as a military lab and base. Brendan called the main base on it's home world to bring supplies for a raid. He wanted to liberate the base and save all the villagers if Neutte will ever survive. It would take 2 days for them to prepare...

On the day of the liberation, everyone was on the forefront of the base. It was concealed in a giant forest where no one would even bother visiting. The group successfully sneaked into the base and started the plan. They divided into three groups; two groups would head to both cell sectors to the prisoners, while the third group headed to access the Main Control Room. Once the first two groups were able to rout any soldiers and rescue the caged villagers, they were to all meet up to the main control room. When they were able to get in, the leader of the Dynasty was right there. And so were the mayor and councilmen of Neutte. It turned out to be a drawn out battle between what the leader had left of his own men. He failed, however. Cornered and helpless, he had only one last option... He activated the self-destruct sequence, and fled the scene. The control room locked itself in, and no one could get out... But, Rose had an idea. She went up to override the door by herself. She eventually got the door open, and everyone got to the other side. But, when Rose stopped touching the controls, the door slammed itself again. She found out that in order to keep the door open, she had to keep overriding the console. Brendan called and urged Rose to think of another way. But... She had other plans. She told all of them to escape, and leave her behind. She would use the controls to make sure they escape. Brendan disagreed and wanted to think of a different plan, but Rose shouted at him and told him to trust her, as true and close lovers. Brendan couldn't hold such a grudge to this, and fled with his group. They eventually escaped and ran away from the base as fast as possible before it exploded. The only casualty of the entire operation, was Rose herself... Two hours later, the mayor and the villagers returned to Neutte and thanked their blessed hearts for the SHR's assistance. The Casharn Dynasty won't be trying anymore attempts on the village, or any nearby towns. But Brendan was still mourning Rose's sacrifice, as well as the family. It would take some time to shake off the feeling, but they lived with it. Before Brendan left Terra Current, Rose's father had a parting gift for him. It was actually from Rose. In the box, was a pendant. In the pendant, were Rose and Brendan. Brendan knew what Rose wanted from this.. So he accepted the pendant and cherished it, never forgetting Rosette at any moment...

Five whole years flow through since Rose's death and Neutte's liberation from the Casharn Dynasty. A lot has passed through five years, but the interesting part was going to happen... Within the spring, on an unknown world, a girl was found by two random people. The girl was taken into the nearby town for any care that was needed. The girl was actually an Oni. Before long, it was known that the Oni was none other... Than Rosette Erukana herself. Shocked and amazed, Rosette wanted to know how she was revived. Some of her answered lie with the Elder Oni of the town known as Onigashima. There, she met the leader of the surviving Oni. He explained to Rose about the current troubles of their kind. That any Oni seen in Onigashima was all that was left... Not to mention the two people that found Rose were the leader's daughter, and her bodyguard. Rose told the three about herself, saying that she was actually a dead person. None of them had a solid answer for Rose, and Rose tried her best to explain. But Rose also had memory loss when she was revived. She didn't know where to go, till the Elder of the Oni asked for a small plea to Rose. He wanted Rose to set out and eradicate the demons that thralled their home land. Princess Shizuha, the daughter, wanted to go. The Elder argued till Rose stood out, saying that she'll take Shizuha and her bodyguard, Yoshistune, with her. The Elder had little choice, and entrusted Rose with their care and life. Eventually the three girls would meet various other people, and befriend them too. It was something Rose had little choice for, but she got used to it. One day... Rose was curious about the Rift Crystals that were in the cities on Onigashima. She touched the crystal and was transported into a place known as the Temporal Rift. At the Temporal Rift, she learned that she can use that place as a sanctum, and as a place for transportation from city to city. She took advantage of this in case she needed to head back to certain areas she visited. One time, however... Rose found an usual setting in the Temporal Rift. She walked up to it and found out it was a camouflage of a hidden passageway. No one was around, so she took the passageway. At the end of it, was a Rift Crystal. It also had a device with the crystal. She eventually learned that this crystal can be used to travel to any world in the Universe. Knowing it was only her that knew about this, she kept this knowledge for another day. One Thursday afternoon, Rose traveled into the Temporal Rift to use the giant Rift Crystal in the secret area. She was learning how to use the device with it, and eventually picked a world she was familiar with due to a sudden memory recall. Before she could touch the crystal, something happened that triggered someone else to go through it into the Temporal Rift. She hid herself in response. The figure that appeared was none other.. Than Brendan. The moment eventually led up to them meeting after 5 whole years of Rose's departure from life... Brendan tried getting Rose to remember him, but Rose wouldn't remember a thing. She had a lot of memory recalls when Brendan met her new friends and explained her past. He had but one choice... He took out his purple flute, and played something known as the "Memory Melody." This melody was only used in horrible times where someone cannot reclaim their lost memories by normal or abnormal means excerpt song. He hoped for the song to work on Rose. After a few moments of using the flute, Rose finally gained her memories back. However her friends kind of had a memory relapse too during the song, since whoever hears it is affected. Brendan apologies and explains how Rose still had her memories. Her memories were kept in her soul. So long as the soul burns within life, the memories will never be wiped from it. All of them took it in consideration in case the information was needed.

With Rosette having her memory back, she wanted to know if she was still a couple with Brendan after 5 long years of death. Brendan had to be honest with her, and tells her that he thinks they aren't. The letter she left with him, alongside the pendant, explains it. After all, she wrote the letter herself. Rose didn't think about this and resented the idea, apologizing to him. All he could do was embrace her for a time, being close friends to one another. It wasn't what Rose thought of, but in a new life, she had to accept it...

A few days later, Rose calls Brendan again for a request. She wanted to return to Terra Current and see her family after 5 years. It was only going to be a brief visit, so he agrees when he had downtime from his work. On a Friday afternoon, both of them went back to Neutte to see her father. Upon the sight of her house, it was barged up. Rose questioned the sight, and was worried. After a moment, they were able to get the door open and head inside. They immediately had an unwelcome greeting from her father, that aimed at them with a special bow. Rose shouted out to him. The father took a moment to look at Rose, and then realize... She's alive. He lowered the bow with the arrow, and cried to her in front of him. It took awhile for him to not cry and tell Rose and Brendan about what has happened to his family when Rose was gone. The siblings grew old enough to move out of their home to expand their education within the neighboring cities, so he was left alone even though he agreed to it. The only visitors he has were his own sisters and Rose's Aunt that was still alive. Rosette asked her father to why she was alive again, and for a fact, as an Oni. Rose's father had one answer. He went to grab an encased photo album for Rose. Upon receiving the album, Rose flipped through to where her mother was seen. After realizing from looking at a close up picture of her mother, Rosette found out her mother was an actual Oni herself. Rose's own father, married an Oni that escaped from her own homeland many years ago. The father told her a story of when Rose was born:

"Upon birth, Oni's usually have their horns. But... You didn't have yours. Something went wrong in the process. It was some sort of defect with your body, and we were worried to hell. But, your mother had an idea. She... She used one of her remaining lives to do a ritual on you. In case you die at a certain age, you'll be revived with your true form... To be frank with this... It was her second life she gave up. Oni's have 3 lives. So... You get the idea. Her last life was with you when you were really young.."

Rosette really thought that was unfair for her mother to do this. But her mother had little choice to such a defect at birth. Rose only has one life on her soul remaining. If she wants the third life, she has to earn it somewhere on Onigashima. Saying she'll do her very best to live for it, her father gave her the mother's bow...

"She told me to keep this as self defense for myself... And a remembering keepsake of our marriage. But... I think it's time for you to take it. I think mom would agree. Here. She called it... 'Takumina Seimitsu.' Which means 'Artful Precision' from her native language. Maybe you can unlock it's mysteries it still has, Rose.."

With one nod, Rose took the bow and agreed. Her father said he'll be alright with some of the family still vising. Soon enough he'll move out of the home in to a better place. But he doesn't know when. Both her and Brendan wish for the best of luck, and they headed out. Rose went back to Onigashima, and continued her journey to cleanse the world from the Demon threats. With friends, and other surviving Oni's at her side, she hopes to succeed to make Onigashima a better place to live...
