The Pull

She didn't know why, but she was drawn to the forest in particular today. A certain energy emanated as the girl crossed the veil into the strange pocket dimension she and her friends had discovered one fateful day. Jax raised an eyebrow as she saw a small smattering of her friends milling about in the clearing where they usually hung out when they came here.

“I...guess everyone felt that strange pull that I felt, huh?” Jax muttered.

Surprisingly, Jax saw Zora approach her, completely stonefaced, which was quite uncharacteristic for the plucky stoner.

“You have no idea what we're getting ourselves into, do you?”
