How to install Blade Runner 1997 on Windows 10 x64

1. Download the original iso files from here: https://archive.org/details/Blade_Runner_1997_Virgin
2. Follow the steps described here in order to install: https://www.replaying.de/files/blade-runner-patch-windows-vista-7-8-x64/
    a. Download and run the installer
        - proceed to install
        - select your desired language (english)
        - mount first cd with daemon tools (*)
        - select desired target directory
        - click install
        - mount the next disk every time your asked for the next one
        - finish installation
    b. Download and copy the HDFRAMES.DAT (310mb) over the original one in the installed game dir
3. Create a shortcut over the blade2012.exe and check under the Compatibility tab the DPI scalling checkbox with Application (managed) selected.
4. Start the game through the shortcut and upper-left button clicked under the german menu.
*. After reboot, without changing a thing, the game will not work anymore, so every time after reboot, you have to repeat the step [2.a.] until the star (*) phase, then just start the game normally through the shortcut, leaving the installer like that (and without installing the game) and it will work. Maybe because is opening a process that is doing some tweaks or configuration that is not persistent across reboots.

If you have any "BLADE.EXE stopped working" error, just make sure that you're following exactly the [*.] step. Tested on Lenovo yoga book with Windows 10 x64.
