Discord

It's been an interesting few weeks. Months, perhaps. I've streamed very very little this year - pretty much the only thing I've done was a Banjo-Kazooie playthrough. (In fact, I've been so busy that I haven't even played many more video games than that at all). I've considered a few other streaming projects, but just can't seem to find the motivation. I feel bad that there are a few of you out there who still give me regular subscriptions for no content - it was almost to the point where I've thought about telling those of you who do that to just stop because I have no idea when I'll stream again.

But I don't quite want to do that either. There are still a few other projects I'd like to do, I just don't know when I'd get to them. And your support actually means a lot - its humbling, to say the least. So I feel like I owe it to you guys to have a better way to stay in touch and let you know what I'm up to and what you can (or shouldn't) expect with my stream.

I've had it for awhile but was hesitant to open it up to anyone. I do not spend very much time at all in chat online and I don't plan to start, so I didn't want to have this be a commitment to something else I need to check regularly. BUT it's become increasingly clear to me that I just will not be using Twitter anymore. And because of that, I've felt like I've lost my only avenue to keep in touch with people who care about what I'm up to with streaming outside of just streaming itself. So Discord it is!

What you can expect from me:
- Discussion around ideas for possible future streams
- Updates if I don't think I'll be able to stream for awhile
- Posts ahead of time for specific stream plans
- For my status to almost always be Invisible/Offline

What not to expect from me:
- Continual, regular hanging out or chatting. I've never been one to just hang out in chat rooms and I don't expect I'll start now.
- If you DM me, there's a good chance I'll see it - but no guarantees as to when
- Any ideas discussed to actually become real streams

Nobody may join, and that's totally fine. Or a lot of you may join, which is fine. No pressure either way. I just can't look at my Twitter account anymore. It's just a massive trigger for my anxiety problems. SO here's a way I can stay in touch without all that, and you have a place you can ask about streams.
