The Taliban said in the statement on Thursday they would keep fighting U.S. and Afghan forces to establish an Islamic regime. They said they are also increasing "political efforts to come to mutual understanding with the world" in order to establish an Islamic government and to "bring about peace and stability" in Afghanistan.
