Fate of the World Session 13

It has been three days since your battle with the Mammoth and to be honest? You're still reeling pretty bad. Thankfully you have enough sick days saveed up so taking off of work isn't a problem. Even better is that Renee managed to spin the tale that you'd gotten hit by a drunk driver. You were beat up, but you'd survive.

You were currently sitting on your couch at 10AM in the morning and flicking through tv channels. Things seemed to be all silent on the news at least. Though there was more talk about that big technology expo and it was going still going on despite all the strange things that had happened so far.

"F-feeling better Hiro?" Holly asked

"I'm getting there." You grunt

Holly had of course came over to continue looking after you. According to her, her Uncle Karl didn't even really question that she wanted to stop by.

"Don't overdo it now Hiro, we don't want you keeling over." Renee said from the kitchen, she was helping herself to some food while you watched TV.

"I'm fine, I'm not gonna die just like that!"

You hope anyway...

"Won't know until you find out!" She replies with a giggle

You roll your eyes and walk into the kitchen and grab what food is available. Some microwavable waffles, some eggs, and there's still some bacon left thankfully.

"Want anything Holly?" You ask

"N-no thanks, I ate before coming over..."

"You sure?"

She nods again and so you return to indulging yourself in breakfast food.

"So, what's on the agenda for today Hiro? We gonna go out and patrol the town? Fight more weird monsters?"

You sigh, you'll never understand how Renee has such boundless energy. You're both in your 20's and the difference is astounding actually.

"Prep? What do you mean?"

"Well, I say we gear up. Check in with Hanekoma and Mirei for starters. We've got a good amount of crystals we can use up. And who knows what Hankeoma might have for sale...I wonder where he even gets all that stuff."

"Oh and Ryza too right?" Holly chimes in

"Yeah, Ryza can probably make us something out of...whatever it is we have lying around." You nod in  agreement

You'd actually been wondering what she'd pulled off with the microwave. According to her, she'd gotten it down to its base parts, but she still needed some time to tinker with it. She found every little bit interesting and when you saw the torn apart microwave, you weren't even sure what all the parts were (let alone how Ryza even managed to break it down so cleanly at that)

"I think I get it. We gotta suit up and be ready, kinda like in those secret agent movies?" Renee said

"Something like that yeah."

"Cool, I think I get it, besides I kinda don't like nearly dying from robot men or giant prehistoric animals with admittedly nice tattoos."

"Same here..." You grunt, thinking back to that trunk slamming you into the ground

"S-so what are doing first then?" Holly asks

"Sounds like a plan, let's suit up everyone!" Renee exlcaims cheerfully

You all nod, and once you're done your breakfast, you all head up to your room and step into your closet, appearing in the velvet room and once again greeted by Igor.

"Hello there my friends. How are you?"

"About as well as one can feel from being hit by a mammoth." you sigh

"I saw that...most unfortunate, but it is nice that you have recovered. Please do try to be more careful in the future."

"If I can manage that." You say "Is Hanekoma here?"

"Indeed he is. Do not allow me to hold you any longer."

And so, the three of you head to Hanekoma's shop.

"Hey there kids! Lookin for new wares? I got some fresh stuff in!"

"Perfect." You say with a smile "Show us what you got."

"You got it boss." Hanekoma says tapping his wall so his wares appear.

"That's new..." Holly murmurs

"Thanks, just got it installed! Anyway, enough talk. Get to shoppin'!"

You pick out your items, while handing the rifle to Holly. She inspects the gun before thanking you, while you hand the cash over to Hanekoma.

"Pleasure doin' business with you kid. See ya around!"

You nod in reply in leave the shop.

"Next stop is Mirei." You say heading through the other door, upon entering Mirei smiles at you

"Hello Hiromu. A pleasure to see you again. You too Holly, Renee."

The two girls give her a greeting before she looks back at you. "Before we begin Hiromu, I have some things to inform you of."

"Yeah? What's that?" you ask

"Firstly, are these..." Mirei says with a beckoning finger as the two orbs you obtained from those demons float out over towards her
"I forgot about those, what's important about them?" You ask

"These are an interesting type of item. Basically, they act as enhancers when summoning new allies. These in particular will help you call forth allies that would be considered demons. Do not worry, I am sure you'd not be hurt by them. There are more than likely other kinds of items that can be used to influence what allies you call forth. Simply bring them to me and I'll use them at your behest."

"Thanks, that's cool to know."

You'd feel a bit more concerned, but then you look at Rajaki and remember, she's really not all that bad. She just loves drinking.

"Next is Archiving."

"Archiving?"

Archiving will allow you to 'store' a summon within the velvet room. Think of it like the PC from Pokemon. If your summons ever get full or simply if you want to, you can 'archive' them with Mirei until you feel like bringing them out again. Keep in mind an archived summon will not gain any EXP or Affection gain and you cannot level them via crystals either.

"That could be pretty useful." Renee says "No lie, sometimes Mythra gets just a little too chatty."

"HEY!" You hear Mythra call out from the COMP.

"Tee hee, now that that is out of the way, how shall we proceed?"

"I see, shall we use the Yoma orbs as well?"

"No thanks, we can save those for another time." you say with a wave of your hand

"Very well. I shouldn't need to instruct you on what to do." Mirei replies with a smile

You nod towards her and take one of the summon crystals out and focus on it. You wouldn't mind another magic user to help fill out your ranks. That could be useful Sure you have others, but the more the merrier, especially with how much stronger enemies have been getting. If Patchouli were to get knocked out, you'd need someone to hurry and take over for her.

"Yes there it is, I can see the person now...Come forth!"

You're blinded by the light again, all of you covering your eyes before you're able to see again. As your vision comes to, you're caught off guard once more by something you didn't expect.

A kiss.

A very long kiss at that.

Before you can do anything you're freed from the torture(?)

"Hehe sorry...I couldn't help myself."

Able to finally focus you see...oh Christ...it's her...she seems a bit nicer though...it's Monika...

"Hello Hiro, I...I know I did some bad things, but I'll make it up to you! I'll help you out as best as  I can!

"Hiro, what the hell was that?" Renee asks with a blush on her face

"Wow...so bold." Holly mutters having covered her eyes(while still staring through them).

"N-never mind that, you wanna go for a try."

"Hmph, Suppose I could." Renee said taking a step forward.

Renee takes her place where you once stood. Monika is still clinging to you as this entire thing goes down, with Renee doing the same thing as you.

"Alright...let's bring someone good!" Renee exlcaims focusing

"I see it...very well, come forth!"

Again the light blinds you, and this time a somewhat older man stands before you all.

"Hello. I've been filled in on the situation...I hope I can do my best to help. The name is Julius."

"Oh...uh...hi." Renee says rubbing her head bashfully "Nice to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine. Thankfully it seems like this...Nyarlatheotep didn't call on Bisley for help, that should make things easier."

"Yeah...totally!"

"I-I'll try next!" Holly says stepping forward

"Very well, you know what to do Holly."

"Y-yeah..."

Holly closes her eyes and begins focusing on the summon crystal in her hand

"Okay...very well...I see it...Come Forth!" Mirei shouts

A bright flash fills the room, the light blinding you all again before standing in front of Holly is a young girl with bat wings?

"Hehe, heeeey there Holly, we're gonna save the world!"

"O-oh um...o-okay?" Holly replies

"Come on, what's with that reply? You gotta put more oomph in it!"

"O-oomph?"

"Yeah, Come on. Say Hell yeah!"

"H-hell yeah...!"

"Louder!"

"H-Hell yeah!"

"EVEN LOUDER!"

"HELL...HELL YEAH! WE'RE GONNA S-SAVE THE EARTH!"

"Now that's what I'm talking about! I'm Lilica Felchenrow, let's have fun together!"

"How cute..." Mirei chuckles, is that all?

"Actually...I was wondering something." Renee asked stepping forth.

"Yes, what is it?"

"Well, I fought this weird Kyle guy and he turned into this summon crystal. The same thing happened when we fought that robot woman."

You step forth and show her the other summon crystal "Could we summon them with these?"

"I don't see why not. You will not neeed my help. Summon them."

You let Renee go first, she focuses on the crystal before a flash of light appears again blinding you all.

"Well well, it's the cute pinky!" Kyle laughs

"Ugh, please don't call me that." Renee scoffs

"Now now, there's no need for that, we're partners now! So once again, Name's Kyle! Nice to Meetcha!"

"Yeah sure...nice to meet you Kyle." Renee says

It's your turn next as you focus on the Summon Crystal in your hand, calling forth the robot woman from before.

"Ah...it's you!" She says in a surprisingly feminine, almost motherly tone "I am happy to see you again. This time on much friendlier terms."

"Yeah...nice you aren't trying to kill us." You reply

"Forgive me, I was not myself. That man....Jail I think was his name...he did something to me...messed with my systems. Anyway, it is nice to finally meet real life humans. I hope to learn much of your kind. I am Aeda Type-G. Bioroid. May we work well together."

The two new summons enter their respective COMPS, with Mirei smirking all the while

"My, the worlds that are becoming connected to this one are truly interesting indeed."

You decide to power up Kyle and Aeda, it only makes sense and you can't have them lagging behind. You need all the power you can get in the struggle.

"I think that'll be all for now Mirei." You say with a nod

"Very well. Remember that you are always welcome here. I wish you luck in all your efforts." Mirei replies with that same smile

You all leave the velvet room and return to your apartment properly, with Monika instantly jumping out of your COMP.

"So *this* is your room. I could only see a small portion of it before. It's nice...for the most part." She says with a giggle

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Oh...nothing, I just think it could use a bit of sprucing up? Maybe a flower vase or two...or perhaps...hmmm, that'll have to wait."

She continues musing on like that while Holly and Renee turn to you

"Well I'd say we're sufficiently 'prepped' wouldn't you Holly?" Renee asks

"Yeah, we should be a lot better off now than we were before. A-at least I think so anyway..."

"So, what's our next step Hiro?"

>Right, let's go look for some trouble

"Alright, next stop is Ryza." You say calling her out from your COMP

"Yo Hiromu! How can I help?"

"We need you to work your alchemy magic, you up for it?"

"Well, if we're being 100% literal here, Alchemy isn't *exactly* magic, in fact, it's actually..."

"Come on already Ryza." You sigh

"Oh! Hehe, sorry, almost got sidetracked, lead me to the kitchen!"

And so you do, you and your friends heading back down to the living room, and then to the kitchen.

"Alright, so what are we working with?"

"Well..."

"Ryza can you whip us up some more burgers?"

"You got it Hiro. Just gimme a bit!"

She goes for the fridge, or rather the freezer part of it and pulls out more burgers. You're gonna have to go shopping again soon if the inside of your freezer is anything to go by...

You watch as Ryza gets to working her magic, stirring the weird green goop in the pot a bit as she continues watching for any abnormalities that could occur.

"Okay, everything is looking good!" Ryza exclaimed "Just a little bit more and...done!"

Just as she says, out pops 3 mouth-watering burgers. Warmed to perfection without a single flaw.

"Great work Ryza. As usual."

The girl puffs her chest out in satisfaction, causing you to notice two...very important features before your eyes go back to the food.

"Now then, anything else you want me to make Hiro?

"Wanna try hotdogs this time?" you ask

"Hotdogs?" Ryza repeats

You show her the box of frozen hotdogs you have in your freezer and she looks at it for a moment, rubbing her chin.

"I think I can work something out with this. Just give me a moment."

You sit back, socializing with the others as Ryza goes about stirring things in her pot again. She tosses in a feew other things to the pot and continues stirring it before out pops a pair of hotdogs, perfectly cooked and ready for consumption.

"Ta da~! What do you think Hiromu?"

"Looks good..." Renee mutters staring at the hotdogs

"Yeah...I-it's amazing how you can make that with alchemy." Holly mutters

"Looks like that's a win all around. Good job Ryza." You say flashing her a grin

"Great, I think I've got a bit more in me for 1 more thing."

"Alright, lastly, mix us up some drinks?"

"Sure thing Hiromu! Now then..."

You sit back as Ryza works her magic and before long you're greeted with 3 drinks that are ice cold and ready for consumption whenever you're willing.

"Lookin' good as usual Ryza, You'll make someone real happy one day with your unique cooking skills."

"O-oh...y-you think so?"

"Ryza, you throw things into a pot and then create things that can more than likely heal a bullet wound. I'm pretty sure anyone would be happy with that."

Ryza blushes a bit before chuckling "Jeez, you don't have to overstate it like that Hiromu. A-anyway, I think that's all for now."

"Alright Now we go looking for trouble." You say to the others

"Hell yeah!" Renee exclaims

The three of you head down to your car and file inside, driving around will allow you cover more ground, and at first you're just aimlessly driving until you decide to head to the business district of the city. It's a place where a lot of high rise buildings are each housing various businesses(as the name implies).

However, as you begin driving through the area, you notice that sky...changes. You're only able to see a bit of it, but it appears as if the sky opens, almost as if it's being torn open, and several winged creatures begin descending out from it. They crash into windows, some carrying people away, other buildings beginning to have people flood out of them as they attempt to flee.

"W-what the hell is going on?!" Renee exclaims

"I have no idea,just hold on tight!" you exclaim trying to dodge through the monsters that were rapidly spewing forth from the tear. The entire area was warping...changing as you drove through it until the area is almost like a ruin.

You dodge another monster, turning hard and just barely stop yourself from crashing into a wall.

"Come on, we gotta get outta here!" You grunt, getting out of the car.

The second you do, you get a good look at the district...

"Holy shit..." you mutter as you stare at what's become of the business district, no longer is it a pristine looking area, filled with business people going to and fro, but now  it's a destroyed, desolate wasteland, almost like it's from some sort of apocalypse type game or movie. The only somewhat positive thing is the area being covered in grass and a small lake having been formed from whatever has occurred as well.


Before you can say anything more, you're confronted by three beings you consider to be quite an odd sight together.

"Uh...Hiro, what are those?" Renee asks

"T-that's a Heartless...and that's a...that's a Yoma...definitely a yoma...a-and the other is...kappa?" Holly says a bit confused at that last part.

"Shit, we don't have a choice, we'll have to power through them!" You shout to the other two. "The both of you, get ready!"

You and your friends ready your weapons and prepare for a fight!

You call forth Dante, Duran, and Aeda, while Renee calls forth Kyle.

"Alright! Finally some action! Let's have some fun." Kyle cackles

"Please, just fight and shut up." Renee sighs "We'll take up the rear Hiro, don't be afraid to tag us in any time!"

You take out your nail gun and open fire on the group of enemies.

"Here Aeda, keep it up.!" Duran calls out,

"Appreciated." Aeda replies

Dante leaps into into action, taking aim at the crab yoma, but unfortunately his gunshots bounce off her hard shell, but he is able to get a decent slash in with his sword.

"Initiating Barrage." Aeda calmly says as several gun shots begin to pepper to the enemy. Managing to damage all of them.

"Not bad, not bad! Not hit em harder!" Kyle exclaims, as he raises your attack power!

The Air Soldier goes in for an attack on you, but you dodge both of tis strikes with ease.

The Crab Yoma lets out a yell as an aura covers it and the rest of its group

>All enemy defense increased! They now take -4 damage!

The Crab Yoma attempts to grab Dante, but he's able to dodge it!

"Too slow!"

Finally, the Kappa acts and it engulfs itself and the others in a shining light! You watch as their wounds begin to heal!

Afterwards, it sets it sights on Duran, trying to hit Duran with some sort of purple ray, but he's able to dodge it without hassle!

"Dante, Kyle! Gonna power you up!" You call out to the two as you engulf each of them in a red aura, that disappears after.

"Dante, help me with the Kappa!" Duran calls out as he slashes at it hard! breaking the stoniness of its skin somewhat.

>Kappa's defense decreased! it now only takes -2 damage!

"I gotcha, come on then!" Dante exclaims focusing on skewering the thing with his sword. He misses the first strike as the Kappa nimbly dodges, however, it's caught off guard by the second hit!
"Opening Fire." Aeda says in a monotone voice, she fires upon the enemy again, but this time she doesn't manage to land a hit.

"Irritating."

"Stand back I got this!" Kyle exclaims sweeping his blade in a wide arc in an attempt to hit all enemies...only to fail.

"Ooookay, maybe not."

The Air Soldier this time focuses on Dante. While it misses the first swing of its fist, it does manage to hit Dante the second time around!

"Gah dammit!" Dante grunts "I'm okay, don't worry!"

The Crab Yoma lets out a yell as an aura covers it and the rest of its group!

>All enemy defense increased! They now take -8 damage! The Kappa takes -6!

The Crab Yoma attempts to Slam you with it's larger pincer, but you easily sidestep her

"It'll take more than that!" You jeer at her

This doesn't last long, as the Kappa acts and this time it once again heals the wounds of its allies, before calling forth a torrent of water! You, Duran, and Kyle all get hit! With Duran taking the worst of it.

As if that wasn't the worst of it, since Duran was still reeling from that last hit. He can't dodge the weird purple beam like before. Taking the shot head on!

"G-gah! I can't move!" Duran shouts "M-my body feels like it's locking up!"

"Duran, retreat! Miku, you're up!" You call out as the virtual singer takes the knight's place.

"Ready to go Hiromu!"

You lock and load and spray a rain of bullets on your enemies. Hitting them all, managing to pierce through their now thick hides.

"Dante continues attacking  the Kappa, stabbing through it's defenses with his sword. Dealing extremely powerful damage to it.

"Elemental Magic detected. Switching Barrier." Aeda says calmly

>Aeda now reflects all water damage. Her weakness is now Electric damage!



"Can't see us~!" Kyle smirks as he tosses out a smokebomb causing the enemy to have a harder time hitting you!

The Air Soldier continues dodging Dante. It misses the first hit again, but lands true with the second one!

"Aw c'mon already!" Dante grunts, getting back to his feet from the hit

The Crab Yoma attempts to slam Kyle and you with its Pincer, but you both dodge it with ease


The Kappa calls forth a light that engulfs it, healing some of its wounds! After which, it tries to hit Miku and Dante with water, only to miss both times.

You continue to spray bullets onto the enemy, this time not missing anything and managed to land all your shots perfectly.

"Dante continues stabbing at the Kappa, doing his best to skewer the thing.

Miku begins singing, and you can feel your wounds starting to heal!

"Activating Ejection Protocol!" Aeda shouts as a white light engulfs the crab Yoma. She lets out a painful, horrified scream before she's no longer standing where she once was.

"Hit em even harder!!" Kyle exclaims with a laugh

The Air turns around, aiming for Aeda but she's able to dodge the punches with surprising grace, not being bothered by it at all.

The Kappa calls forth a light that engulfs it, healing some of its wounds! After which, it tries to shoot that same beam at Dante as it did Duran, but Dante, is able to easily dodge it!

Alright, the goddamn Kappa needs to die. You think as you slash at it,  putting extra power into your blows. It does pretty well for your first attack, but the Kappa manages to dodge the second.

"Dante goes in for more stabs, hitting with the first, but missing with the second.

Miku begins singing, and you can feel your wounds starting to heal!

"Adminstering area wide damage." Aeda calls out as she opens fire on the enemy again, managing to hit both of them without fail.

"Gotcha~!" Kyle giggles after delivering a wide swipe with his sword, hitting both enemies


The Air Soldier turns around towards Kyle, and delivers a hard hit to him, managing to sock him right in the jaw, thankfully he misses the next hit though.

The Kappa calls forth a light that engulfs it, healing some of its wounds again! He then calls forth another torrent of water, which everyone except miku manages to dodge.

Lastly the Kappa tries to hit you with some weird blue beam, not unlike the purple one, but you dodge it just in the nick of time!

"Kyle, eat up!" you call out to him, passing him one of the Ryza burgers

"Yes sir!" Kyle calls back as he...you aren't sure if he takes the mask off or what, he just turns away from you and the next thing you know, the burger is gone.

You don't pay it any more attention, as you focus back on the Kappa, attempting to finally end it by hitting it as hard as you possibly can.

Dante follows up, with one final stab to the Kappa, ending its life finally, before turning towards the Air Soldier and aiming for it, managing to stab it just as its getting closer to the ground.

Miku begins singing again

"Ejection Protocal active." Aeda states as she hits the Air Soldier with the same energy she did the crab, unfortunately, while it gets hurt, it isn't completely destroyed like the crab yoma. Still, she manages to damage it at least.

"Can't see us~!" Kyle taunts tossing another smoke bomb, causing the area to become more dense with smoke.

The Air soldier attempts to attack you, but thanks to the smoke bomb, it misjudges its attacks and misses both swings!

Now to focus down the air soldier. You move in to attack it, missing your first hit, but managing to get him with the second one.

Dante goes for more stabs, zeroing in on the Air Soldier, hitting it from behind and getting a solid hit in on his first attack, but missing the second one as the Air Soldier rises into the air to dodge it.

Miku begins singing again, this time, it being that song that makes you feel stronger!

"Activating Earth Code." Aeda said as a large pillar of Earth shoots up from the ground, unfortunately, the Air Soldier saw it, and dodge it easy...


"Gotcha!" Kyled yelled, jumping up and slashing at the Air Soldier in the back.

Turning around, the Air Soldier quickly threw a fist at Kyle, managing to get a hit in, but missing the second one as Kyle dodged it.

This thing is going down. You put all the power you can into your next attacks and this time, you manage to slice the air soldier clean in half. It's entire body going up in flames as you do.

"Great work!" Renee exclaims as the battle ends, it looks like she and Holly did their part in keeping any other monsters off of you.

"Thanks." Now...let's figure out our next move." you say looking around. The entire area looks pretty awful, but whatever monsters poured through, they were only a small amount, there aren't anymore appearing at all.

"M-maybe in that building over there?" Holly points to some small office building with the windows already blown out "T-there could be people who need help, or someone else in trouble."

"True..." Renee mutters, but look at that main building...no doubt something has to be there. Perfect place for some bad guy to make his home ya know?"

You rub your chin...they both make a pretty decent point. As you're thinking, you see the blue glow of the velvet room appear. Looks like Igor was able to come through at least.

"Come on, let's stop by Igor's first." You say walking into the blue portal. As you do, you see that Igor looks...less than pleased. That's a first.

"Hey Igor, what's up?" You ask

"I am happy to see that you are alright. I am sorry if I appear...apprehensive. This latest incident is most foreboding. The tear in the sky...it was for but a moment, but it was a message all the same."

"What would that be?" Renee asked

"Nyarlatheotep is coming...or at least, he is strong enough to interact with this world in some small form."

*That* was small?!

"I am sorry...I am causing you no small amount of stress I am sure. Now then tell me, what is it that I can do to be of service?

You don't even bother arguing with him and just hand over the cash. He waves his hand and you feel the wear of battle wash away from you.

You decide to go visit Mirei, and once inside her area of  the velvet room, she greets you. Though like Igor, her smile isn't present this time.

"Hello, how may I be of help?" She asks in a serious tone.

"We're gonna power up some people if that's okay?"

"Not at all. Lets do it."

Everyone funnels in the some of the crystals until you're left with a singular crystal.

"That should be all you say, thanks Mirei."

"No problem, good luck out there."

You all nod in turn and leave, walking passed Igor and back out into the real world.

"Now, where to Hiro?"

"The small office first. There may be some survivors inside...or at least I hope so..."

You all cautiously walk towards the building and enter it, on guard. It's surprising how just a moment ago, it was so full of people going about their business, and now it's completely destroyed.

"Hello? Is anyone in here?" You call out.

At first no one answers, but then you see a small door on your right side open up before quickly shutting again.

"H-hey! Are you okay in there?" Holly asks walking towards the door

"S-so many...of those things! Y-you're human right?!" the voice is shakey and it's clear whoever is behind it, is just barely holding onto their sanity.

"Yes, we're human. We just want to know if there are any survivors." You say keeping calm

"Don't know, Don't care! There...there was some monster, started tryin' to kill us all, went upstairs and then I don't know! It's quiet now. I'm just staying here, there's nowhere else safe!"

You aren't getting through to this guy. You motion to your friends that it's time to move on and so you do, heading up to the second floor of the building.

"So what do you think this-"

"Shhhh!" you say silencing Renee "We don't want whatever this thing is to hear us!" you whisper back at her.

Upon getting to the second floor, you see that just like the first floor, it's completely trashed, almost as if it hadn't been lived in for years. You take a few cautious steps forward, but you don't notice anything out of the ordinary, save for the occasional creak of the floor, but you don't that's anything important.

"It doesn't look like anything is here..." Holly mumbles.

"Let's split up and search, maybe we can find some kind of clue!" Renee says

Well, it's a plan. Not one you particularly like though...especially with who knows whatever the hell is lurking around here.

"Really Renee?" You deadpan at her

"What?" She replies with a raised eyebrow

"How many horror movies have you watched?"

"Ick, none, way too gory for my tastes."

That explains so much right now...

Anyway you get to searching the area with the girls and...everything seems okay for the most part. There's no signs of anything bad, and to your luck you even manage to luck out and find some first aid supplies.

"Me too." You say with a sigh

There's no third floor here, this is just a two story building thankfully.  You can turn around and head back or just keep searching around more.

You tell your friends to keep looking around the area, you just want to be extra sure about anything you can find. To that end you check any rooms that are open as well as any of the office spaces that are currently open. You of course pitch in, looking for what you can, but unfortunately, nothing really turns up for you.

Regrouping with the others, you manage to obtain one more chakra drop for your troubles.

"I don't think there's much more here." Holly states "I looked all over, but didn't see much else of use."

"Same here, then again, this *is* just an office building, not much we can get of use here besides some staplers and pens, though I doubt that'd be of any particular use." Renee jokes

"Right, let's get out of here then."


You return to the first floor and knock on the door, that the office worker was hiding in, gently knocking on the door.

"Hey man, we're done here. There was nothing here. Come on, let's get you out of here, it's not safe."

Oddly, you don't hear the ravings of the officer worker like before.

"You still in there? Come on, let's go. Don't tell me you fell asleep?"

Weird, you know the guy was in here, you try to open the door, but it's locked still. If he had left, there's no reason for it to remain so.

"D-did he really fall asleep?" Holly asked

"Maybe?" you reply with a shrug

You try to open the door again, this time deciding to try and force it. You've got no choice but to attempt kicking the thing down. You take a step back, the ladies giving you some room. With a the room provided, you move forward and kick the door down. the thing falling clean off its hinges as you see the sight before you.

Well, the office worker is definitely dead...and you see the culprit right in front of you, it's mouth (and pipe) bloodied

"W-what is that?!" Renee shrieks as you dodge out of the way of the...whatever this is."

"T-that's...R-Robbie the rabbit...from Silent Hill!" Holly states as you all fall back to the entrance to give yourselves more room.

"Silent fucking hill? Seriously?!" You snarl as Robbie moves ever closer.

You aren't sure if you want to handle anything from that particular place...

"No point in running, this rabbity fuck would probably just stalk us." You say getting into a combat position. "You girls ready?"

"Yeah!"

You and Holly step forward ready to fight, while Renee decides to offer some support with her summons. You think you've got the advantage on this thing...until it splits into three, all of them staring at your group with a lifeless stare.

"Of fucking course there's more than one..." you sigh "It can never be that easy..."

You take out your needle gun and open fire on the rabbits.  While some of your shots miss, you still manage to hit them at least a few times.

"P-Princess Undine!" Holly shouts firing off her ice magic. The problem is that the robbies manage to all dodge it with ease, they're a lot more agile than you expected.

"Here everyone, I'll toughen you up! Sailor Moon called out, raising your allies defense

>All allies Defense increased, they now take -2 damage!

Rajaki takes a swig of booze from her gourd, smiling at the enemy. "The next one's gonna hurt!"

"Hehe, I like that! Hit em harder with this!" Kyle laughed, as he buffed your allies attack

The first Robbie moves in close to you, and clubs you right over the head with its pipe.

"Ow! Shit! fuck you!" You exclaim diving back and rubbing your head. Thankfully you aren't bleeding from that

The second Robbie lets out a terrifying scream focused on Sailor Moon, but it has no effect, and when it tries to hit her, she gracefully dodges it.

The third goes for a hit on Holly, managing to just barely hit her, before turning towards Kyle and firing forth some sort of dark energy from its mouth.

You continue to unload on the robbies, this time not missing a single shot!

"P-Princess Undine!" Holly shouts again firing off her ice magic. Unfortunately, lik before, the robbies are able to see it coming and dodge it just in time.

"Stay strong Hiro!" Sailor Moon calls out, bathing you in that warm light from before. The pain in your head, clearing up.

Rajaki runs up to the third Robbie and smashes her axe against its body.

"How ya like that? She exclaims as the Robbie is sent flying back from the impact of the attack, your reminded of how downright terrifying Rajaki's strength actually is.

"Keep it up!" Kyle calls out, buffing your attack once again

>All allies Physical attack increased! They all deal +4 damage!

The first Robbie fires off dark energy at Rajaki, but misses its attack, as well as the swipe it took at her.


The second Robbie raises its pipe in the air, raising the attack of it and the others! It then launches another dark energy attack at you, but it goes wide, flying over your head and going out of the building.

The third goes for Sailor, attempting to hit her but missing, and once again it lets out a blood curdling scream that doesn't affect Sailor Moon in any way.

You continue to open fire on the robbies, keeping up with your constant assault of bullets.

"O-one more time! P-Princess Undine!" Holly calls out, as this time the spell fires out too fast for the enemy to dodge all of them suffering ice damage.

Sailor Moon proceeds to raise your team's defense even more. Your body hardening even more than before.

Rajaki takes another swig from her gourd. Letting out a drunken giggle as she does so.

Kyle raises your allies attack once again!

The first Robbie focuses on you and screams, when that does nothing he tries to attack, only to fail at that as well.


The second  tries to scream at Holly, but it doesn't work just like with you, and it then spits more dark energy at Holly, which she easily blocks.

The last one, again tries to attack Sailor Moon, but she's still just too quick, easily dodging both attacks from it.

Switching over to your Sword, you attack the Robbie that Rajaki had already put a serious beating on,  your first strike rings true, and you notice that the robbie, writes in pain as its body catches on fire. It just barely manages to dodge your second strike.

Robbie Rabbit's weakness found!

"Princess Undine!" Holly shouts, as the Robbies are again hit with ice magic, the one you attacked clearly on its last legs.

Sailor Moon proceeds to raise your team's defense even more. Your body hardening even more than before.

Rajaki having finished her drink, rushes towards the second Robbie and slams her Axe into him, sending him flying backwards like the one before it.

Kyle raises your allies attack once again, all the while laughing at how the rabbits are being pummeled.

The first Robbie focuses on Rajaki, firing off dark energy at her, and then bashing her as hard as he can with the pipe in its hand.
The second Robbie screams at Sailor Moon...and her body goes stock still before she lets out a shriek! The Robbie tries to hit her, but just barely misses as she ducks away, clearly fearful of the rabbit all of a sudden

>Sailor Moon is inflicted with Fear! She may ignore your commands on the next few turns!

The last Robbie, though hurt, sees that Sailor Moon is freaking out and quickly walks up her, it just looks at her, but you aren't sure what happens. Just that Sailor Moon shrieks again as she begins to bleed from her sigh

"It's hurts! I-I-I'm SCARED!" She screams

The two follow your lead with you calling in Ace and Aqua taking Holly's place.

You attack the second Robbie, hitting it, and starting to set it ablaze.

Rajaki follows up with behind you, attacking the same Robbie again, this time with 3 quick hits of her axe. Pummeling the Robbie and causing to fade away, joining back up with the regular one.

Kyle swings his sword in a wide arc, hitting the last two Robbies, hitting them both and knocking the third one  out entirely, it sinks into the floor and rejoins with the original Robbie

The original Robbie completely flubs everything. There is no more to say here for him. Shameful Display Robbie.

Seeing that the final Robbie is on its last legs, you deliver the final blow to the Robbie, taking him out. You slash at him twice with your sword, burning his body into a complete and utter husk of what it once was.

"Glad that's over." Renee mutters "Come on, let's get out of here before another one of those things shows up."

You and Holly both agree, leaving the building behind. You can't help but feel for the poor guy who lost his life to Robbie though, you can't help but blame yourself a little bit, had you not left, he probably would have survived.

"Where to next Hiro? There's some more buildings we can check, but who knows what we'd find, there's still that big corporate building as well. We'll definitely have to check that place out eventually.

"I'm fine with whatever we do. S-so long as we f-finish all this." Holly mutters
