- my own post-commentated videos are actually doing very well on vodcasts and give me similar numbers to what i'd get if I were live, which means it's content that people really want to see. i think that if there were a practical means by which people were motivated to submit high quality speedrun videos with good commentary, they'd do more of it, and there'd be more speedrun content on twitch/youtube than sensationalist top 10 compilation bullcrap
- one of the driving forces behind SDA, SRL, and SRcom is exposure. thing is, there's no real aggregate for high quality post produced speedruns. I was thinking that when you aren't running tournaments, what if you opened submissions for post-commentated speedruns? it'd give your operation a large avenue for growth, more content, and also give a little follower kickback to the people who submit runs to be played when there aren't any tournaments running
