  3. [4:12pm] Proto_Lost: Simon hums something from the Ink Spots, boredom has once again come to for a visit.
  4. [4:12pm] Proto_Lost: He hasn't noticed her yet, he's a bit lost in the rhythm
  5. [4:14pm] Alivi: Eriko sighs and looks at her phone before placing it back.
  6. [4:15pm] Proto_Lost: Simon stops humming and looks over to Eriko after hearing her sigh. "Something the matter kiddo?"
  7. [4:15pm] Alivi: She looks over at Simon before looking back over to the ceiling.
  8. [4:18pm] Proto_Lost: "...Alright, something's definitely eating at you kid, what's wrong?"
  9. [4:20pm] Alivi: She pulls her blanket closer to her and tries her best to ignore Simon.

  11. [4:21pm] Alivi: She looks at Simon. It is a very not happy Eriko look.

  23. [4:40pm] Alivi: "You all worry about me. If small thing happen you get upset and get upset at me if I say I am ok. Then I get worried and you all say it do not matter. So it do not matter."
  24. [4:42pm] Proto_Lost: "Kid, I don't get upset with you when you say you're OK...sometimes I just think you're only saying you're fine just to keep me from worrying."
  25. [4:47pm] Alivi: "Even so. Zach is same and Ralph too…" She says Ralph's name quietly.

  27. [4:49pm] Alivi: She shivers a bit and wraps her blanket around herself
  28. [4:49pm] Proto_Lost: "Well, we worry because we care about you kid, and we work in a place that's known to take people away from us...and I'll be damned if I let it take my sunshine away from me."
  29. [4:52pm] Alivi: "Even so. What about my worry? You all dismiss it."
  30. [4:53pm] Proto_Lost: Simon looks like he's about to say something, then stops to think about it. "...I guess we do, but it's only because we don't want to worry you either."
  31. [4:53pm] Alivi: Eriko looks up at the ceiling again. "Fine."
  32. [4:56pm] Proto_Lost: "Fine? Fine what?"
  33. [4:57pm] Alivi: "I mean I can't stop worrying. But I can stop talking about it."
  34. [4:59pm] Proto_Lost: "Well, I can't stop worrying either kid, and I don't dismiss your worrying about me, I just try my best to show you that I'm fine."
  35. [4:59pm] Alivi: "What about Zach?"
  36. [5:02pm] Proto_Lost: "Well...that boy's harder to read than a burnt book, but I'm sure he does his best to do the same."
  37. [5:04pm] Alivi: Eriko frowns, she would ask about the last person. But cannot bring herself to.
  38. [5:08pm] Proto_Lost: "And I know that Ralph is doing his best not to worry you, not that you should be worried, since he seems to be fine."

  40. [5:11pm] Proto_Lost: Simon looks surprised. "What? What makes you say that?"
  41. [5:12pm] Alivi: "Last night… only you said anything..."

  43. [5:14pm] Proto_Lost: "...Maybe he's just got a lot on his mind kid, I'm sure he didn't want to worry you."

  45. [5:16pm] Alivi: "No matter…I'll just stop worrying."
  46. [5:17pm] Proto_Lost: "Kid, it's alright if you worry, hell, I don't think I can stop worrying. I'll try and talk to him, ask him why he didn't say anything."

  48. [5:23pm] Proto_Lost: "And I'd say this is grounds for a stern lecture for him, since he upset you."

  60. [5:49pm] Alivi: "Just do not understand… you know I thought we were together by that time… then he tells me he want to make it official. It was worrying… What else is different with dating here? Is his action just misunderstanding?"
  61. [5:50pm] Proto_Lost: Simon's looking a bit confused, then he gets it. "Ohh...right. You guys do it differently in the land of the Rising Sun...you need to tell me what you do over there before I tell you how we do it over here."
  62. [5:52pm] Alivi: "Before girl and boy go out together with lots of friends and later start hanging out with eachother…"
  63. [5:58pm] Alivi: "Already Ralph has done some strange and embarassing things..."
  64. [5:59pm] Proto_Lost: Simon scratches his chin, or would if he could move his arms. He instead settles for rubbing it against the neck brace. "Huh...not that different really...and what do you mean strange and embarassing things?"

  66. [6:02pm] Proto_Lost: "He does? What's he done to make you think that?"
  67. [6:04pm] Alivi: "He knows very little of my culture…my language… even Zach is learning. But Ralph does not. In Japan we spend long time before we become "official" and he kisses me."
  68. [6:06pm] Proto_Lost: Simon bristles a bit with that last part, but gets it under control. "Yeah, he's not very subtle...and I'll have you know that back in my day, it took a long time before you got a dame to say yes."

  70. [6:07pm] Alivi: "We are already at stage where he talks to my parents which closest thing is you… this is not right."

  73. [6:11pm] Proto_Lost: Simon isn't just bristling in his casts, he feels like punching a brick wall in his casts with each successive mention of names.

  78. [6:14pm] Proto_Lost: "Well, to be honest, I'm not very up to date with how courtship works now...back then, a weekly date at a nice steak joint with some decent champagne, maybe a movie before that would've been just fine for the two of you.

  86. [6:26pm] Proto_Lost: "...Neither do I kid...it's been a while since I gave advice to anyone about love and how people express it."

  93. [6:50pm] Proto_Lost: Simon lets out a sigh and looks over to Ralph. "I won't lie kid, I'll probably start shouting if he doesn't give me a straight answer, or if he was doing this on purpose."

  95. [6:58pm] Proto_Lost: "Same here kid, but if he is...I will fucking destroy him."
