Quicksave is your best friend [q for (Q)uicksave, l for Quick(L)oad]

Ranged weapons in general are very good

Crowd control spells are very strong (Specifically one called SLEEP. It will immobilize the vast majority of enemies in the game and you can beat the snot out of people while they slumber. Castable by mages (NOT Clerics).)

If someone attacks you in town, guards will kill the aggressor

Early game mages are really weak. Also you need to have your party sleep to refresh spells.

Shops don't refresh inventory. If you sell something important to them, you can buy it back.

You can recharge wands by selling it to a shop then buying it back

Shops sell basic ammo/weapons infinitely, but more unique items are limited stock.

Double clicking an item lets you split stacks

Your party can have up to 6 people (Yourself + 5 NPCs. There's 29 to choose from )

EXP is split among current party members. Inactive party members (people you recruited but dismissed in town or smtg) get NO exp. Smaller parties get more exp because exp gets divided between less members.

Party Members that you recruit will autolevel to the party's average level (up to level 6). Game caps you at lvl 8-10 depending on your class.

Evil aligned party members leave if your reputation is 18 or higher.

Good aligned party members leave if your rep is 2 or lower.

Neutral aligned leave at 1 rep.

Some party members have timed quests

You'll have x amount of in-game days to do them or they get mad and leave

They'll complain about it for you to hurry up.
