  4. Social and public media should be blamed for increasing number of violence acts across the world. I completely agree that programs containing violence shown in fictional contents, like movies and tv series, encourage violent behavior. In addition, we can constatntly see violent behavior in real life, like on social meda or in the news, which also forces people to behave in a violent manner.

  7. When people watch enterteinment programs that contain violence, like movies or tv shows, often they forget they are watching a fictional content. In these programs violence is often shown like something funny or even desirable. This is especially dangerous with young viewers like children. They have a sense that violence is often the safe and quick solution for all problems, just because they saw it happens in a movie. This is causing them to behave violently towards other children, but also towards adults. Recent study has shown that more than 50% of the children who enjoy watching violent movies become violent criminals when they grow up.

  10. People are surrounded by violence every day trough daily news on tv or when they open a newspapers. On each day we are witnesses of some violent crimes or domestic violence. These crimes are shown in most public media, including social ones. People often take these news lightly, but subconsciously negative effects of these information create an impact on them, and they not even aware of that. The result is seen when people start to act on the same pattern in similar situation, because in their mind they feel it is a right thing to do. One research has shown that 8 out of 10 people who were exposed to news about violence have commited same or similar violent acts when they were in same situations.

  13. Constant coverage of violence in media is definitely increasing violence in society. I feel that people who are exposed to violence trought different ways are more likely to behave in the same way. This is especially dangerous for children, because they are much easier drawn to bad things like agressive behavior. On the other hand, adults are not imune to this effect, and we can see more and more violent acts every day, all because of the negative effect of today‘s media.
