  1. **Title of Run:** Mirrors Mirrors In The Hall
  2.
  3. **Run/Event Summary:** Psi-7 gets sent to a circus to investigate an undercover foundation agent who they lost contact with. They are told he is currently disguised as a strongman and to get more information from him. They are told very little of their mission due to the Ringmaster's anomaly. They watch the show at night where they see blatant use of anomalies in their shows. They'll explore the circus further until they get kicked out at closing time.
  4. During their investigation they might uncover two anomalous objects. A magic mirror that duplicates people and makes them mirror their real counterpart.(That's what they're led to believe. The mirror can be used that way but it can also create a doppelganger of the worst possible version of you.) A top hat that can teleport things. (It can also be used if someone puts their arm in it to punch someone at a distance. It is impossible for a full person to fit inside.)
  5. They might also meet the ringmaster who is anomalous. He can read minds but he cannot reveal any of the secrets he learns with anyone or write it down. If they meet him he might learn the vague details that they are tying to rescue Leo and will prepare traps ahead of time. The other performers are a magician(He uses the top hat and will fight the party from a distance with it.) , a man who can copy himself (He uses the mirrors for this. He is an unremarkable person otherwise.), and the strongman.
  6. After the party leaves the ringmaster will set up a trap or two for the agents and have the magician be a sort of guard and patrol the circus. This is only if he learns about their plan. The strongman would be in his trailer until. The mirror man would be in a trapped house of mirrors that will trap the party inside and create doppelgangers of them to fight throughout the maze. There are multiple doors that slam shut once someone goes through. The hall of mirrors is separated into straight hallways of mirrors. The doppelgangers will be stat duplicates of the party and will taunt them through the mirrors until they get to the exit where they will fight the doppelgangers together. They might also get attacked by very shoddy doppelgangers that die in 1 hit and have very poor stats. The house of mirrors exit leads into the big top where the ringmaster and mirror man will taunt the party while they fight. If it seems like the doppelgangers will lose the mirror master will run while the ringmaster fights them. He shatters in one hit as he is revealed to be a fake.
  7.
  8. **Predicted Difficulty:** Predicted difficulty: Easy-Med depending on the group that comes
  9.
  10. **Run Description:** They will be briefed by a nameless agent about the "The Utopia Bizarre", a travelling circus where an agent was sent undercover. He is disguised as the strongman Leo and they have lost contact with him. He gives them a phrase to give to him so he knows they're from the foundation. He tells them that due to special circumstances he cannot disclose their mission. They are to watch the show, and learn as much as they can about the troupe while they make contact with the strongman. They are told about Sammy Starr, a magician, Ricardo the Mirror Master and the ring master, Roman Cellio.
  11. They are sent out on a train to find the circus at it's newest stop in the Italian countryside. They arrive there at night and can catch a show there free of charge for the show's anniversary. They go inside and the show goes well, with the ring master coming out first and introducing each act. The strong man bends a few barbell weights before putting them back on the barbell and bending that in half. The Magician makes thing disappear and reappear, at one point his arm disappears and appears in front of Psi-7 where it shakes someone's hand before going back to the magician. The Mirror Master makes copies of himself and creates a human pyramid.
  12. The show closes soon after and the party is allowed to roam around. The Circus is set up in a cube shape with a plus sign of pathways intersecting it and splitting it in fours. The top left corner is where the trailers for the performers are and where fans can meet up with them to talk and get autographs. The Strongman and Magician can be found here. The top right is a hall of mirrors that connects to the bottom right where the big top is. The hall of mirrors and big top are off limits during their visit. The Ring Master can be found in front of the big top. The bottom left is filled with food vendors and tacky carnival games. The Mirror Master can be found here manning all of the booths at once with copies.
  13.
  14. If they talk to the strongman and tell him the phrase given during the briefing he will act friendly around them and hug one of them. When he does he slips a note into their pocket. It's folded in half with instructions to not open it until they leave the circus. It tells them that the ringmaster is able to read minds and figured him out. He is being held hostage by the troupe and needs their help to escape. To make matters worse the ringmaster has gathered a few anomalous objects for use in the show that they must steal while they rescue him. If they open this before leaving the circus then the ringmaster will know about them and trap the circus.
  15.
  16. If they talk to one of the many Mirror Masters they will learn very little and will simply repeat themselves. The real Mirror Master is locked in the hall of mirrors. They might occasionally see a clone walk out of the hall of mirrors as a hint. If they get in there and talk to him he will kick them out although they will see him making copies of himself.
  17.
  18. The Magician is pompous and will brag about himself if they talk to him. If they go along with him or persuade him he will let slip that his hat is real magic. After letting this slip he shuts up and excuses himself back to his trailer.
  19.
  20. The Ring Master is over dramatic and is purely business, he will not talk about anything other than the show. He will read the party's thoughts and learn how much they know about the troupe. He will also learn personal secrets about the party that he will use to taunt them later.
  21.
  22. Eventually the circus closes and they are forced out. They can re enter it an hour later once it's cleared out completely. When they go back inside they find the magician is strolling the grounds and will attack them on sight if they don't leave upon request. He will run from the party while and try to hide and punch them with his top hat. If they catch up to him, tackle him, corner him, or put him in any danger he will give up. He will tell them that everyone else is in the hall of mirrors and give no resistance to them.
  23.
  24. The strongman is in his trailer and will come out if the magician is defeated. He will explain what the anomalous objects are and watch over the magician while they enter the hall of mirrors.
  25.
  26. When they get to the hall of mirrors they are trapped by the double doors slamming shut behind them and locking. The Mirror Master will taunt them and create doppelgangers of the party further in the hall that are reflected through the mirrors. The duplicates are the absolute worst versions of the agents and will claim to be their repressed self. They will taunt the agents as they make their way through the mirrors and are attacks by weak copies of themselves that are easily defeated. After defeating a few of the weak clones they make it to the big top where their doppelgangers are and will fight them here while the Ringmaster and Mirror Master watch. The 5 magic mirrors are around the arena and if broken the doppelgangers will be destroyed. The doppelgangers don't need to be defeated this way though and can be defeated normally. They have knives and swords but no guns. After they are defeated the mirror master will run and be caught by the strongman. The ringmaster will attack them but will shatter if hit, revealing that this was a doppelganger.
  27.
  28. **Outcome:** The ringmaster will escape and the party will have captured the rest of the troupe and their anomalous items. Leo will thank them for saving him.

  34. **Description/History:** He is a Russian man with a balding head. He stands at 6 feet 7 inches. While undercover at the circus he is in a cheetah print leotard. Simon was a member of the Russian Mafia as hired muscle. He never actually hurt anyone for no reason though. He was eventually recruited by the foundation to work for them.
