- (part 1)
- Swap!Anons:
- >>Gospel is a is fair businessman (who made a deal with the Devil to remain fair)
- >>Bratislav is a former Soviet "state businessman" and arms dealer
- >>Noir is and early 20th century labor organizer turned anarchist/criminal
- >Other Swapped!Anons:
- >>Zap
- >Instead of being a being made of electricity, he's a sentient, ever-shifting cloud of vaporized Neodymium. He's lethargic and lazy, but, thanks to his incredibly strong magnetism, he can easily cause things to levitate - including people, who he can lift by the iron in their blood.
- >>Stretch
- >While he has the same, cartoonish body, he now bears greater resemblance avant-garde/futurist/constructivist propaganda posters. Also, instead of being an newfag, he's now /leftypol/ LARPer from 2*4Chan. Still friendly and kind, but with a layer of assholery on him.
- >>Sting
- >Was a Medic during WWII and acted as Angel's family doctor - was the only one to fully accept the fact that he's gay, and the two remained firm friends since.
- >>Athanasius
- >A medieval Black Knight with a Monty Python-level zaniness to him. Essentially a skeleton stuck inside a cursed armor, who relies on his bravado and ignorance to "win" fights.
- >>Swinga'
- >An alcoholic and rough-housing jazz musician who enjoyed the patronage of Angel's family, until he got into too much trouble. Still seeks them out for help, even though they want nothing to do with him.
- >>Doc
- >Biological researcher in the field of medicine and amateur zoologist, he was an avid transhumanist in life. Died as a result of medical malpractice - a practice HE introduced into the field and had great faith in, despite the mounting deaths in the operation room.
- -
- >>Pockets
- >A though, no-nonsense prison guard in life (though to the point of violence, though, he was rather ashamed of it), he briefly eloped with Vaggie while she was still figuring out herself in Hell. They remained on amicable terms.
- Cont.
- -
- >>Zagreus (Scum)
- >Charlie's cousin, the white sheep of the family - a philanthropist who had done several things to improve the conditions of Hell. Joined the hotel when he heard that Charlie had lent them their support - despite the fact that he's rather wary of the Princess. The others like him, but Charlie can barely stand his presence - still tolerates and even bonds with him, since he's family.
- >>Mek
- >An Ork with an Ericsson-level intelligence and Fawkes-level vocabulary, he abandoned his previous, warring ways to run a high-end automobile business in Hell. His own brand is now the most sought-after in all of the underworld.
- >A good friend of the Magne family, he also decided to support the Hotel
- >>Postal
- >A former jock and bully who saw his friends killed by the kids whom he targeted, in hell, he reformed and sought to better himself in every way possible. Owns an double rifle.
- >>Keys
- >A man of extremes, he did everything under the sun, good and bad, hoping it'll all balance out and he'll be able to go through purgatory... It didn't work out. Easily the most noticeable figure in the Hotel, with a Saxton Hale-level bombastic approach to all things.
- >>Bronson
- >A paramedic in life, he worked tirelessly to save people's lives, until one day, he was dragged down to Hell by an Exterminator who mistook him for a demon. Now acts as the Hotel's medic alongside Sting.
- Cont.
- -
- >>Jugger
- >Vaggie's long-lost cousin, who tried to stay on the straight and narrow as an up-and-coming politician, never taking any unnecessary risks - until he learned that his last known family member is in Hell. He dropped everything and descended into Hades to get her back... Only to find out that she's been doing alright down there... And he can't get back.
- >Their relationship is strained because of this, but it's improving. Helps Al during TV debates.
- >Alternatively, he died, and ended up being a high-ranking mob boss in Hell, not realizing Vaggie's down there - until the Hotel's debut.
- >>John
- >Too nervous to talk to girls (self-esteem shot to shit from a number incidents), and not wanting to hire a prostitute, he instead attempted to summon a succubus. Somehow ended up summoning Lilith, who just dragged him down to Hell, but managed to loose him along the way.
- >Ended up in the Hotel. Unlike his Canon!(ish) counterpart, he does want to get laid, however, he always ends up being cockblocked, or squicked out by his would-be partners. A nice person otherwise, and the others are frequently trying to get him hooked up with someone decent.
- >Niffty wants nothing to do with him, but the two frequently end up talking about their failures in romance, and slowly drawn to each other.
- >>Chan
- >A personification of the recently-neutered InfiniteChan instead of 4Chan, and a Femanon, wearing a pencil skirt and shoes with slightly elevated heels, as well as having "hair" (or the silhouette of it on her head). Even more cynical than Canon!Chan, she suffers from the same Legion syndrome (and thus, consumes the same amount of painkillers and antidepressants), and has the same friendly rapport with John, often acting as his wingwoman in his quest to get laid - no matter how terrible she is at it.
- Cont.
- -
- >>Funzie
- >A depressed, blackpilled shadow of a man, he seems to drain the light and joy from any room. Born as a side-effect of 2*4Chan's "passing", alternatively, a benzo and codeine abuser and alcoholic, he casts a dark shadow over the bright future of Al's business.
- ---
- Also:
- >is there more or is this the last one?
- --
- >Yeah. Can't really swap the other characters - how Husk's grandson changes depends on how Husk'll be portrayed by the artist, and you can't really change Dr. Mangle's character, since he already changed from what he was (going from Angel of Death to a more manic version of the TF2 Medic).
- >All the other characters are from other franchises, and I don't think inverting them will work.
- --
- >>and I don't think inverting them will work.
- >yeah
- --
- >>Swapped chan and chan meet
- >>Would it be incest or masturbation if they fucked?
- >>The world may never know
- -
- >>Whenever Lucifer visits Charlie Gospel either leaves the hotel for the day or locks himself in his room
- >>Lucifer does try to connects to the sinner once in a while during these visits because of a slight guilt brought on by Charlie's grilling him on what he did
- >>It's awkward for all parties
- --
- >>it also doesn't help that the other anons become more argumentative whenever Gospel's paths is brought up
- >>he had sparred with Chan in a battle of wits on multiple occasions, while Stretch (bless his heart!) has "threatened" him with not stopping the operation until God has even forgiven him, the Devil himself - even going as far as not entering Heaven before him
- >>this makes Luci... Uncomfortable
- >>odder still is the fact the priest has no trouble seeking him out whenever shit hits the fan
- >>though, he does address him as "archangel" when this happens.
- --
- >>Swapped gospels relationship with Lucifer is much less awkward
- >>After all
- >>He did sell his soul to him for his success in life
- >>Their meetings are more like two old friends meeting up
- --
- >>Lucifer is pleasantly surprised that he kept himself on the straight and narrow, even in Hell
- >>he's especially glad he's helping the local Imp population
- >>he's less pleased learning about his association with Bratislav - the arms dealer is one of the main reasons why Hell never seems to rest - there's always a turf war, gang war, or just shoot-out happening somewhere
- >>sure, they're here to suffer, but he'd much prefer them coming to his performances
- --
- >Gospel walks into the lobby.
- >Standing there talking with Charlie is Lucifer
- >The two notices Gospel, who's now panicking, knowing he can't just come up with an excuse to leave.
- >"Heeeeyyy, Gospel right? Or [insert Gospel's real name here], long time n-"
- "YEEET"
- >Gospel flings himself out a fucking window and runs for his fucking life.
- >The father and daughter are left shocked
- >"He's never done that before." Says Charlie as she goes back to chatting with Luci.
- >Bratislav finds him later hanging out at I.M.P's base and after a few minutes of him telling him Lucifer left, he reluctantly returns to the hotel.

- (part 2) A'ight, reposting that prompt:
- >Smol prompt
- >>"Boss, you gotta phone call!"
- >>Cherri groans in frustration
- >>First that fool of a snake ruined one of her land grabs and now some jackass thinks they're important enough to call her
- >>She snatches the phone away from the Bomb Gal
- >>She presses answer
- >"Who the hell do you think you are?"
- >>"Cherri, that is no way to answer your father."
- >>Cherri almost dropped the brick of a phone in shock
- >"...daddy?"
- --
- >>Swapped Cherri and Gospel
- >What would swapped Gospel be like?
- --
- >>What would swapped Gospel be like?
- >a businessman
- ---
- I'd imagine Swap!Gospel would be like Bob Pataki from "Hey Arnold!": cares about his daughter, but really doesn't know hot connect with her. He makes half-hearted attempts, but is so afraid of investing too much time, effort and feels into it in case it all blows up in his face.
- Also, he struggles to run a large, more-or-less legitimate business in Hell, while his more savvy daughter is engaged in turf wars, so the two rarely see each other, and are a bit estranged from one another.
- They do both love each other, dearly, but it's more like loving a past image of the other, rather than who they are today - in sharp contrast to Canon!Cherri and Gospel.
- -
- >>More or less legal business
- >Hes set up in imp city
- >IMP are some of his employees
- >Blitzo constantly sucks up to him in barely subtle ways
- >His corporation is the biggest employer of imps in hell
- -
- >Swap!Bratislav is a "friendly" competitor - a soft-spoken former high-ranking Soviet apparatchik and "governmental businessman" made in the fashion of Anastas Mikoyan, now the owner of an arms manufacturing business - and front to his more illicit, "protection" operations
- >his main, and oldest "contractor" is Gospel's company, which his men guard, and his own officials keep record of, to keep it in the green (in order to ensure they can pay), and free from sabotage
- >Gospel is... Wary of him, and the Russian always vacillates between being friendly and being subtly threatening - never threatens him through his family, though
- >on his part, Bratislav considers him a friend - he just enjoys fucking with him
- >The I.M.P. are "double agents", secretly working for Bratislav to ensure Gospel's safe within the company - which is why they're so close to him all the time
- >Blitzo is a serious, but creative sort, who always tries to look after the others, but has trouble connecting with people, and is usually distant
- >Moxxie is a the trickster of the group, with a great sense of musicality, a dirty mouth, and a brusque attitude - something which Millie, the shy, sensitive caregiver of the four tries to rein in at times. It's rather clear, however, who wears the pants in the relationship - and the two lovebirds wouldn't have it any other way
- >Loona is the "cool big sis" - head in the game, but always spares some time for the others, especially Blitzo, whom she treats like a younger brother (despite him being the oldest member of the group, and her being the youngest)
- >instead of being a former Pinkerton detective, Swap!Noir was IWW member, labor strike organizer and rebel-rousers on par with the era's most notorious anarchists
- >in Hell, he's infamous for being able to cause a riot at a moments notice, and seems to have connections everywhere - no door's closed for him
- >he came after Alastor for helping the police track him down, which resulted in their deaths
- -
- >Gospel isstill feared as the Vicar Man
- >Mostly because messing with him or his company can leave you in financial ruin
- >But if someone messes with his family or really anyone close to him he will pull a shonen protagonist and go Vicarbrand on them
- -
- >he adopted Vaggie in life during a business visit to war-thorn El Salvador, picking her up from a makeshift orphanage
- >she and Cherri got along well in life, but after his death, they began to grow apart, with Cherri trying to maintain his business, and Vaggie, bereft and rudderless, spending their fortune in reckless abandon, leading to their respective deaths
- >in Hell, Cherri can finally live for her ambitions where she's the master of her job, and not the other way around, while Vaggie made a name for herself as Hell's most infamous porn star, finally finding a way to blend business and pleasure - and being considerably better at it than Cherri is at conquering
- >having abandoned her self-repressing Catholicism (to an alarming degree), she's now openly a lesbian (much to her adoptive father's chagrin), but would sleep with anyone for the right price
- >Gospel, of course, isn't happy about this, but he simply feels to guilty about the whole ordeal to even pluck up the courage and talk to her - to the point that Vaggie doesn't even know he's down in Hell
- >on her part, she's been trying to get her uptight sister a man, and his main man "Sir" Pent is game for a romp with Hell's up and coming Queen Bee - perhaps, even more
- >however, Cherri can't seem to get off the high horse, so they decided to beat her at her own game, to prove the snake worthy of her "love" or whatever
- >she also loves messing with her, especially with how flustered she gets
- >however, Cherri had taken her "betrayal" rather to heart, and has refused to tell her about their father in return
- -
- >Vaggie doesnt know gospel is in hell
- Oh no
- Ooooh no
- >Pent and Vaggie plan to raid Gospels headquarters and to hold the ceo hostage
- >Hes obviously just a fat old man with too much money on his hands
- >Obviously
- >Vaggie didnt expect the biggest verbal beat down in her life or the following spanking she got
- >And because it was her (adoptive) father she really couldn't even enjoy them
- -
- >Vaggie taking Gospel by the hand
- >Vaggie taking Gospel to the Hotel
- >Vaggie obliviously and happily introducing one of the most reputable sinners in hell to Angel and Alastor
- >Gospel sneering at Angel's grump and Alastors weak handshake
- >Gospel being surprised when Charlie shows up
- -
- >them being even more surprised when Bratislav shows up (with the I.M.P. in tow)
- >he arranges Gospel's office to be moved to the Hotel, away from an increasingly unstable Imp City
- >Gospel protests, but Vaggie's delighted
- >then Cherri shows up, fighting with "Sir" Pent (one-sidedly, with the snake just holding her at arms length, chuckling at his attempts and waiting for her to tire out)
- >Gospel turns to Vaggie
- "Friend of yours, Margaret?"
- >Embarrassed by her adoptive dad using her actual name, she mumbles a "yes"
- >Gospel hmmms, observing as Cherri, tuckered out, collapses onto the snake's coils, the latter allowing her to breathe
- "...Not a bad choice. Bit rough around the edges, but he could make a decent successor."
- >Vaggie perks up
- "He's been trying to teach Cherri to speak current times, too!"
- "...Fuck it, he's my son, now! Well, done, Maggie!"
- "...It's... Vaggie now, dad..."
- "I'm not going to call my own daughter that!"
- --
- Wow, swapped charlie hasn't made a single demeaning remark
- Progress
- -
- Of course not, she's more polite than that!
- Although, she is wondering if Gospel being in the Hotel would force Vaggie to stop flirting with her.
- -
- Kek
- >Vaggie starts flirting with Charlie
- >Gospel, reading a newspaper, simply raises a spray bottle and squirts Vaggie
- "Margaret, no."
- >"But dad!"
- "No."
- >Vaggie groans
- >"Fiiiine!"
- -
- >Gospel being around stops vaggie from being as much of a horn dog as usual
- >Charlie decides to screw around with both Cherri and Vaggie by openly flirting with Gospel
- -
- >unfortunately for her, this isn't Gospel's first rodeo with ass-kissers and faux-flirters - he had a number of secretaries (both in life, and in Hell) who tried to get ahead by giving him head
- >his rebuff game is otherworldy, and he often manages to leave Charlie flustered - while his daughters cheer him on
- -
- >This was the first time someone did that to charlie
- >Hopefully it doesnt turn into a unhealthy obsession on her end
- >Lucifer doesnt want to deal with a boy crazy daughter
- Also
- >who tried to get ahead by giving him head
- >The newest imp secretary tries this
- >Gospel looks up from his work and at the imp
- "Your fired."
- >He goes back to work as the shocked demon is dragged off by Moxxie
- ---
- So...
- >Swap!Charlie is the creepy Princess of Hell
- >Swap!Vaggie is Hell's premiere porn star (known for her PERFECT ASS as opposed to Angel's chest fluff)
- >Swap!Angel is a moody gayguy with a short fuse
- >Swap!Alastor is an effeminate, but determined young man in Hell, harboring a dark secret, hoping to turn a new leaf for himself and others
- >Swap!Niffty is a drinking, smoking, gambling '50s greaser and Bad Girl
- >Swap!Cherri is a daddy's girl '80s businesswoman (who's business just so happens to involve conquest and explosives)
- >Swap!Sir Pent is a late 19th century career criminal and mad bomber (who kept up with the times far better than Cherri did)
- >Swap!Blitzo is an aloof, creative sort who keeps his distance
- >Swap!Moxxie is a loudmouth and troublemaker
- >Swap!Millie is a shy and sensitive shrinking violet
- >Swap!Loona is (despite being the youngest), the "cool big sis" professional of the group
- And on the anon side:
- >Swap!Gospel is a legitimate businessman (probably a former, misguided philanthropist in life who's actions ended up doing more harm than good), who's the biggest employer in Imp City, and thus, has considerable sway in Hell's economy
- >Swap!Bratislav is a former Soviet business apparatchik and arms dealer, who runs a "protection" racket, and has close ties with Gospel
- >Swap!Noir is an early 20th century radical leftist activist turned criminal and general troublemaker (who killed Alastor when he clued the police in on him, before dying himself)
- ...You know, even though the artist is on plebbit, a lot of the ideas about the main characters seem to come from here. Coincidence?
- Also, what do you think, what would the other Swapped characters and anons are like?
- ...Might as well burn through this before we become too bogged down with autistic bullshit.
- -
- Hmmm...
- >Chan was found by Charlie when he was born
- >She saw he was a natural born legion, and not the knock off ones that are just hopped up sinners
- >She took him in and manipulated him into becoming a more despicable version of himself
- >He doesn't suffer from constant headaches, Charlie taught him to dominate the souls within him into doing his bidding
- >He is usually seen hanging around Charlie or doing whatever he wants around Pandemonium
- -
- Interesting idea, but Chan isn't a person who's "born", but rather, an amalgamate of all the posters on 4Chan - he's died many deaths to end up in Hell as one "person".
- Also, this is more about making characters with swapped personalities - or, in the anons' case, inverted histories.
- Well, except maybe Gospel's - he's role as a businessman (albeit a legitimate one) is a sort-of swap with Henroin (Angel Dust's father, also a spider demon), who I'd imagine in this world is the caring, if demanding patriarch of the family, who, while not approving of Angel's homosexuality, is more than pleased that his son is part of such a project as Al's.
