Red 2: Electric Boogaloo

Too many PB attempts so I forgot PC potion and had to go back. Early level 4 rat, and then NOTHING for the rest of route 1. Extended but no triple, found a lvl 5 Pikachu in the forest just cuz. Full HP for Weedle with a potion. Poison turn 1, missed Tackle turn 3, HAD TO HEAL after that because 6 HP, KEPT GETTING POISON STING, 4 HP WITH 2 TACKLES LEFT TO GO, HOW DID I WIN THIS??? Still needed an encounter, and ofc it's another Weedle. Bad special. Had to heal on Brock, as well as the 1st bug catcher. No red bar even though I was incredibly close the whole time after shorts guy. Paras yoloball fail, backup paras yoloball fail, finally got one on the 3rd manip try. Very close to red bar before Mankey and ofc I crit. Tried setting up red bar multiple times after and kept losing it until Machop, missed 2 MP's on the last Oddish and had to heal from 1 HP. Forced to Center despite being behind. Surge encounter, Sand from Boat bird, brought from around 48 HP down to 19 because of misses and Vine Whips. CANS IGT. No damage from Surge so no red bar. Did slowpoke, got paralyzed by Oddish and had to potion out of it. Nothing damages me for the rest of the split so Rip red bar again. No damage from lavender bird either on early drill. Tried to silph bar and got brought too low to go for it. Got HA crit from Nido and tried to Rhyhorn stall, only to get Tail Whip which forced me to give up again. End of Silph co to Gio was good, other than a Gen 1 miss on Nidoking that I think no one even saw, but it just did Guard Spec. Alan dies to Venusaur, I catch up a bit and deposit. Got Rage on Bruno. Hypnosis + Confuse Ray on Agatha, into hit self into Haze into another Confuse Ray. Turns out Alan died to Lance at least twice and now we are neck and neck somehow. I skip save, get missed Hydro Pump and just play the end without red bar and win because Alan died to Champ. This game is dumb.
