[A4A] Yearning [poetry]

I yearn to be near you, alone and unrushed
The howls of your absence delectably hushed
I yearn for the laughter, the silence, the tears
The way that you hold me, and soften my fears

I yearn for your touch, your taste and your smell
Delicious sensations remembered so well
I yearn for your eyes, passion smouldering within
Igniting my embers at your tantalising whim

I yearn for your warmth, our bodies entwined
A sensual coupling so familiar, so refined
I yearn for your gasps, your growls and your screams
The reality around us, now ripping at the seams

I yearn for the explosion,  the sweetness of release
Neon fuelled sensations, achieved now with ease
I yearn for the panting, the breathless soft moans
The delectable serenity of sweet afterglow

I yearn for the melting, safe passage to sleep
Enchanted, entranced in the comfort so deep
And the dreams that so vividly tumble and turn
To my lover, beside me, for who I so yearn
