  1. Gym 1: Venam - Definitely needs to be toned down for early-game. Spikes + Corrosive Field is oppressive, especially with no access to much in the learn pool. Gastly ends lives indefinitely, and it took me running Alola Rat to get past it.

  3. Gym 2: Keta 1 - Again, this needs more balancing. Keta is far too stacked considering this is still early-game. Lucario was oppressive enough in Intense Mode. Couple that with the dastardly lead of Receiver Pass + Pure Power Meditite, Hitmontop, Machoke, and Steely Spirit (I'm guessing) Perrserker? In my battle, it took Prankster debuff spam to get the team to not be so oppressive.

  5. Gym 3: Marianette - She was totally fine. Difficult, but pretty managable for a doubles fight. I have no complaints.

  7. Pre-Gym 4: Geara 1 - I had a hard time in thinking if it needs to be rebalanced or not. Sash Berserk Zweilous is a bit much given that the early game fairies are in their baby stages. Maybe nerfing it down a tiny bit would make it a bit more manageable for early-game as Geara has Haunter, Persian, superpowered Clef, Sash Berserk Zweilous, and Resus A-Paras.

  9. Gym 4: Narcissa - Aside from the Mimikyu bug, the battle was pretty okay. Granted, I had 3-4 Dark types + Pangoro to deal with the bulky Ghost/Dark Umbreon.

  11. Gym 5: Valarie - Not too much complains here since I stacked up against Valarie's Water threats and brought Cramorant to be cheeky.

  13. Gym 6: Crawli - Definitely needs more balancing. Crawli's sig move buff just...makes Crawli too OP at this stage. Rain Bug + 2 seeds + the buffed signature move made this battle a lot more tedious for mid-game. Felt more end-game boss-like as opposed to Valarie.
