  1. Hey there!
  2.
  3. So first of all, I'm going to talk a bit about your terrain. In some areas, you have a nice gradient of terrain, it's not all flat in one area, basically. But on the front side of the house, it is. If you could incorporate what you have behind the house into the flat grass area out the front, that'd be 10x better. Just like a little risen area in the corner next to the water fountain, that sort of thing.
  4. I always refer people with difficulty building trees to search 'Plutouthere' on YouTube. He's pretty wellknown in the community for making trees and organics, and he has a couple tutorials now on YouTube. You should check them out ^.^
  5.
  6. Next, your organics; in this case, the trees. The trunks are far too wide for the amount of leaves you have on top. I think it needs to lose a little weight, similar to the smallest one you have in the corner - that one is great, except the roots are a little long. The tree right beside the fountain is pretty good - use that as a reference for your others.
  7.
  8. Lastly, the structures. I like the water fountain - I like how you've managed to make the water flow really creative and original. I also like the stonework in the fountain - the stone brick looks really nice.
  9. The house, however, has a few issues. You've understood that the roof needs to overhang, however it doesn't over the front of back of the house. It's level with the wall, which makes the structure look a little odd. Also, with this style of roof, there tends to be a point in the middle, so all the blocks come in to one in the middle. It's more of a medieval style, but it works. However, I do like the detail you have on the ends of the roof, so it's up to you really.

  12. The detail on the walls needs a lot of help though.
  13. One thing I say to everyone is that you need to add a frame. You've done so, however you haven't made the wall one layer in from the frame, meaning you have no depth there. It also makes it really hard to detail, and like it has here, has detail poking off the walls instead of WITH the walls. It just makes it look a little awkward.
  14. This is my basic tutorial for a frame:

  18. Detailing is the use of slabs/stairs/cobblestone walls/fences etc to show details and a pattern or interesting aspect to a build. Small detailing like fences/trapdoors tend to be used on smaller structures, like houses or towers. And slabs/stairs tend to be used on larger structures, if not full blocks. Detailing can be tricky, as you don’t want to over detail. You also want to bring the detail into the depth and create multiple layers of it, instead of just one layer of detail in front of a flat wall. I advise you to fly around spawn, have a look at some of the plots in the black carpets around the very edge and see the type of standard.
  19. I want to stress this now that you don’t have to build that well in order to rank. Most of those builds around spawn are exceptional and we do not expect this of every single person who comes on here.
  20.
  21. And lastly, one small thing. The bridge is pretty simple in comparison to the rest of the plot. Have a go at making it a little more edgy some how, with use of more blocks than only oak slabs ^.^
  22.
  23. Good luck!
