Chapter starts with a recap of last chapter where the blonde's mother surprises them with an early arrival.
The mother tells MC how the food won't be that good cause it was made in a hurry. Tells him to relax and sit in more comfortable way. He goes how he's comfortable enough seeing that he's in her presence. Blonde invites him to eat her mother's cooking telling him that it's very delicious and MC agrees with that. Mother tells him how blonde talked so much about him and how she wanted to see his face(smth like that) and MC goes 'did she now .. ha ha'. Mother then goes all giggly and tells MC how she saw more than just his face and laughs. Blonde goes 'mom, stop it!!'. MC thinks that the only way out of this is by eating the food. MC compliments mother how he got to eat this delicious 'samgyetang' for the first time and mother gets happy her liked it so much and offers him some more. MC starts to think how he forgot that dishes from mothers in-law are never ending. How even if you have previous experience, this kind of thing is smth you'll never get used to it, and goes 'it was then ..' and flashbacku starts.


Flashback and MC compliments the dishes of his previous mother in-law. Again he goes how for the very first time that he ate smth so good. FMC's mother goes 'oh stop it you ..', laughs a little and tells MC to let her know if he needs anything. FMC's dad goes how the food was good and mother needs to bring more of it and soju. A pissed mother tells dad to stop eating and drinking and to keep MC company. MC then flatters the father by telling him that even when he gets nagged at he still has that calm like-a-boss face. Tells the father how he feels that he has the spirit of a general that lead a large army(a militaristic local longevity praising). Dad takes the bait, laughs and calls MC a great guy and how he feels like that as well, and mother goes 'ara ara'. The father asks MC if he secured a house for when they get married and MC tells him that where he lives now is a studio where the rent is cheap. The father questions that about the rent, and how MC must save for the honeymoon and that shit. MC tells him sorry but how his jobs isn't that great. Dad goes how he heard about MC and his family troubles(smth about a widow and that..) and MC apologizes for that again. Dad tries to cheer him up and MC offers to drink a cup with him. MC gets told how the father also started from 0 in his married life and has almost nothing, and MC goes 'for real?'. The the dad then tells him how a real man can work and feed a family of ten if he has to( maybe a SK saying) and MC is in full agreement with him and calls him faltering words again. Dad brags how he has the muscles to prove his hard work in life and how he's still rocking it hard, and MC how he has some huge Terminator style arms(not sure). The father then tells MC that he looks forward to see him and how hard he'll work for his family, and MC goes how he can't say anything back and laughs. MC tops over and goes how he won't be able to do it(joking way) and the dad goes how he's so weak also in a funny way(here the dad is tagged as 'in the best mood' also, best guess - bromance, lack of drinking power etc). Father then ask MC when he will take responsibility for his daughter, and from here on MC starts to mix the flashback with his reality and asks the dad 'Sunyoung ..who?' The dad then goes how MC killed to many brain cells and laughs, but MC goes 'who is Sunyoung?' The father then calls out for FMC to enter, and how MC as her fiance forgot her face. She comes in, tells the dad to stop drinking and towards MC goes smth like 'so my groom really did forget my face'(smth like that) while her face has twirl on it and the flashback ends.


MC vomiting. Blonde goes how he ate in a hurry. Bedroom and she tells him to lay down that she will bring or buy some medicine fr him. Mother then asks blonde how MC is feeling and how maybe he should go to a hospital but she tells her medicine first. MC then thinks that smth is strange is going on and we get pics of FMC without a face in weird ways. He then goes 'wtf.. what should i think of this?'(or smth like it).


Fashion show rehearsal, FMC is giving orders to a guy to change things. She's then told that the budget is tight and the show is in less than two days. She goes how things don't match with how she envisioned it, and tells the guy not to worry about the budget and  to just do it and the dude agrees. The same guy goes and bitches to boss about how FMC is too much and changed the stage design too many times. Boss laughs and tells him to deal with it, that it's a lot at stake when launching smth new and how it's all on her rep. if she fails. How everyone had long sleepless nights cause of this. He tells the guy that he will buy him a drink after it's over and the dude goes how he works for him and goes with it. Next is FMC going all 'are you kidding me now?' on a model and that girl goes 'so ..sorry.' She bitches at the girl how she made mistakes and how she failed to do this and do that the right way. The girl goes how she didn't get a good night sleep, and bitch FMC goes 'what excuses now?' and tells the girl that that there are countless others that would wanna to be in her shoes on the stage. Next a loud girl named is called, model girls rushes to another with a baby and that girl tells her she can't do it or take it anymore and to do smth. Model girl goes how it's time to change her diaper, she takes the baby away and asks her if she's hungry and that her mommy will help her and goes peekaboo. FMC goes 'mo..mother?' and model girl tells her she can't help it, she has to breastfeed the baby, and it looks like FMC will go into her own flashback soon i guess.  Tbc..

MC and blonde have dinner with her mother, she heard a lot of things from blonde about him and she wanted to see his face but she got a more than just that and is all giggly. MC plays the good boy and tells her the dinner was good.
Flashback of MC and his diner with FMC's parents, how he and FMC's dad bonded, how they talked about this and that and how is his job, his house and honeymoon. MC tells him his job is okay, his house is a small studio, and the dad tells him he knew he had problems with his family. Tells MC how he too was broke but made it good with his wife and he's still goes at it and he should do to it as well and he'll watch him closely. MC mixes flashback with reality and forgets FMC's face and name. He comes out and doesn't know whats going on but FMC"s face is all jumbled in every memory of her that he has. FMC is all bitch cause her show is in two days. Boss is pussy whipped and goes along with her ever whim. FMC goes out on a model girl and turns out that girl has a small child that needs caring and when shes told that it seems FMC is ready to start her flashback.
