- Run In With The Raging Blazard Fire against Fire
- First, he ran into this beast with Esbern having to rush through the flames to save the life of his friend. Then, he would face this same beast again, and losing again, only to rise up and wear it down eventually finding victory once he fought alongside his sister Faira . It was the beginning to the birth of something great, for this day would change the both of them, from this day on.
- [12:38] Esbern Antioch says, "I know of a couple other cool spots"
- [12:38] Uri Sanctum asks, "Oh ? What about inside the cave down there?"
- [12:39] Esbern Antioch says, "The monsters here are... terrifyingly strong"
- [12:39] Esbern Antioch says, "I could show you one, if you'd like."
- [12:39] Esbern Antioch exclaims, "Just don't provoke it! I nearly died!"
- [12:40] He was just about ready. "Together, I think we can at least take out one!" He cheers with a small grin, slowly breaking away from his old shy attitude.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [12:40] Esbern squints a bit in return. He was liking this new friend, but his old fear of beasts stayed strong within him.
- " Well... I'm willing, but don't forget what I said. This one is extremely strong."
- (Esbern Antioch)
- [12:41] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Esbern!"
- [12:41] Esbern Antioch says, "I... I couldn't resist the potion..."
- [12:42] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "You shouldn---- I'll get you out of there buddy!"
- [12:43] Esbern coughs, struggling to move in the dirt.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- [12:44] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Hang in there buddy! I'll get you away from that beast!"
- [12:44] Esbern Antioch says, "Don't risk yourself... Mr. Uri..."
- [12:44] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Buddy, when you get up, I need you to run to me as fast as you can!"
- [12:46] * You have been awarded 5 Roleplay Points! *
- [12:46] Seeing how powerful this raging Blazard was, Uri knew that their best option would be to step back, to retreat... He would rush forward and reach for Esberns hand! "We gotta skedaddle outta here!" He dropped down to the very basics, to flee as the beast was too strong for the two of them.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [12:47] Esbern did his best to rush out, but the beast was closing in. He sent forth a massive surge of water, blasting the beast back so that they could run... but several streams of potent fire pierced holes through his torrent, blasting Esbern in the chest, winding him once again.
- Gasping, he manages to say to Uri; "Gimmie a moment... just gotta… catch my breath."
- At least, for now, it seemed they were safe.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- [12:49] Panting from the seriousness of the situation. He looks to Esbern, "That things flames could burn my own flame! It's too strong for us, but...One day, watch, we'll be back here to beat its sorry butt to the ground." He declares, waving his fist, having to use the lariat in order to dash away to safety, for its kick gave him the power to distance himself. Soon, he would come across his sister standing lost before the mines.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [12:49] Esbern Antioch says, "Told you so"
- [12:50] Uri Sanctum says, "Thought we'd be more than enough."
- [12:50] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Rats!"
- [12:51] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Gross!"
- [14:05] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Everyone Lights off."
- [14:05] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Torches out."
- [14:05] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Good, Uri you’ve met Emi, no?"
- [14:05] Faira nods in approval.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [14:06] He would turn to his sister... "I was wondering who she was...But I must warn you... There is a fiery beast within the deepest cave, and around it some good valuables...Me and Esbern tried to fight it but the thing overpowered us the moment we stepped an inch too close..."
- He would point at the ore mines, "We should spread out, it will make the gathering easier but do NOT enter that eastern cave down there alone." he warns, and hopes they would pay heed.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:07] Roxy Gracias says, "Understood."
- [14:07] Faira La Enfer Sanctum asks, "..?"
- [14:07] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Did you say Fire."
- [14:07] Faira grins.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [14:07] Uri Sanctum says, "Mhm."
- [14:07] Faira 's body would combust into flame.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [14:07] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Bring me to it."
- [14:08] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Geh!"
- [14:08] Uri Sanctum says, "Told ya..."
- [14:08] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Things fire can burn our own!"
- [14:08] Uri struggled to get up over time.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:08] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Unfortunate..."
- [14:09] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "We're not leaving until it's been taken down."
- [14:09] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "I want it for something..."
- [14:09] Faira coughs.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [14:09] Uri Sanctum says, "Agreed."
- [14:09] Uri Sanctum says, "Can't let the name of the Phoenix be thrown down by this."
- [14:13] The flames from this beast were too great...Time and time again did it best him and Esbern during their time in the mines... He managed to pull himself up, grabbing ahold of the wall next to him. "I will not let the name of the Phoenix be stepped on so lightly, not by a beast like this..."
- He looks to his sister, and from his body came a burst of raging fire. Uri went to offer her his hand to help her up. "What I tell ya? This things fire is so hot that it burns our own... But its time to get aggressive, right?" He looks to Faira with a serious expression.
- Uri got into the stance of flames and the iron fist. His rage was his fuel to the embers which kept a shroud around him. He was just about ready to Lariat this Raging Blazard into the next century. "Come at us you mindless beast!"
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:15] She was bested by a Fire Daemon. After rising up from the ground she would be engulfed in flames once more. Her anger rising reaching a new boiling point. She was heated.
- "Alright. Let's show this Deamon, a Wildfire."
- Her face dirtied and slightly burned with a grin. She would make her way towards the Daemon once more with no fear in her eyes.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [14:17] Well, she wasn't expecting them to jump at the fire creature right away, but it seemed that such was the case. Which would cost them a bit really as it seemed to fell them all with it's fiery abilities. It was definitely something to be wary of at the very least.
- But also something to be impressed by, at least to her.
- "I won't let this thing beat me with fire!"
- She'd seem raring to go at the creature again, despite how badly it had taken them all down just before. To let some creature best her with her own magic? That wasn't allowed now was it.
- (Emi)
- [14:19] After falling to the ground, the beast showed no signs of slowing its assault. She thought it was going to last forever. However, she did see its flames flicker a little less bright than before. Since she was inexperienced in dealing with these types of enemies, she had thought their collective attacks were doing no damage. However, she relinquished the thought when she saw its state.
- She slowly began to rise back up on her feet, holding herself aloft. "You..." she began, her eyes turning cold, and her hair flowing with a summoned wind, the likes of which began to fan the flames around her. "You... don't hurt her!" she shouted, a might roar of wind pulsating beneath her.
- Her eyes were alight like the flames that surrounded the group, and her teeth were grit with anger. Her winds surrounded the rest of her party. When each attacked, the winds would guide their fire, pushing the flames and bolstering the strength of their magic. Roxy herself wouldbring her sword about, a razor-sharp aura surrounding the blade. With that, she would begin her assault, crouching for a moment before using the wind beneath her feet to push her blindingly fast towards her target.
- (Roxy Gracias)
- The group has emerged victorious! Against the Raging Blazard!
- [14:20] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Now..."
- [14:20] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Let me do something here.."
- [14:24] Roxy was calming down after slaying the beast. She still seemed very upset, and her eyes showing a furious anger within them. However, seeing the spirit's core, and the crystal they had collected... she appeared to be pacing her breaths. She fell to her knees, resting, exhausted from the battle. "Hoo…" she breathed, waiting for the others to wrap their business up.
- (Roxy Gracias)
- [14:31] They had weakened the creature quite a bit really. With their assault of flames and what seemed to be wind the creature was felled, laying there. Was it alive or dead? She wasn't sure, but she'd make a quick rush over to why she tagged along on this trip to begin with.
- Gathering.
- She had seen Amy with this type of ore before, but had never found it herself. She didn't see herself gathering it by her lonesome either if this was what guarded it.
- "Yay, ores!"
- She seemed a bit excited about her find, perhaps a bit to excited really. But gathering was what she loved and did best so, that was most likely to be expected.
- (Emi)
- [14:31] Their battle this round would go on to be very intense with waves of heat filling the entire cave, making it near impossible to run and avoid the powers of the Raging Blazard. While Faira was casting magic, Uri was throwing his fist, and casting a few fiery spells of his own, all in order to surpass the heat of the Blazards true power. "It's so strong!" He shouts from the round going on, causing the ground to burn for brief periods of time.
- From pure observation, he could see the unison of flames, the team work between himself, Faira, and Emi, all using the arts of fire to find victory against a beast made out of that same element. It was a long shot, but they were all brave enough to try it and crazy enough to do it again and again after they were all defeated in the first round.
- "Haaa!" Uri shouts in rage, a build up of what was to come next. "Burst!" He shouts, sending a raging stream of fire at the Raging Blazard, "Burn! Burn!Burn!....BURN!" He shouts as this, along with many other attacks from the people around him, all using various forms of magic, would likely be the finishing blow, knocking the beast down.
- His own flame continued to spark around him. The flames became pure over time, taking fuel from the fiery beast they had just defeated. Adding onto his growth, towards a flame that could very well be primordial in nature. But now, he stood by the others, waiting. "We did it!"
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:36] As the Daemon had fallen Faira would quickly place her palm over it's face attempting to do something she never attempted. She attempted to control the Daemon's Flame trying to condense it within her palm. After immediate focus she quickly compressed it. Now using both her palms to hold it as it was threatening to explode in her very hands.
- "Another planes... Fire. I claim as my own. I'll use this.."
- She would walk over towards the molten rock and what seemed to be Lava that was the Daemon's resting place.
- "I will not be restricted. I shall not see any limits. I cannot allow anything to stop me.. Not now. Not Ever! I must...."
- "Grow... Expand... EXPLODE!"
- Her hands would then plunge into the Lava using the Daemons Fire as well as her own to form a protective coating of Fire around her hands and arms. Her adept knowledge in Fire Magic would support her efforts. But only for a set period. Quickly removing her hands from the pool of Lava she would immediately call for Uri's assistance and Emi's help.
- "Both of you! Please I need you both to each force this into my back on each side of my shoulder blades. Roxy please cool it after their both done with your Wind Magic. I need this to further my abilities.. even if it costs me my life..."
- She would then hold the orb of coated fire behind her and wait for Uri and Emi to take action. Her hands could only hold this for so long before it would expand and explode.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [14:44] He heard his sister loud and clear, never thinking that this little trip would turn out to be such an event! So, as they fought as he was trying to pass his own limits and surpass the flames of that beast... Upon their victory, he would follow Faira's instructions and that was to concentrate, to focus and try sending this flame energy into Faira's own shoulder... Now the thing is, he was not sure if this would work, or if she was going crazy in taking too many risk.
- It did not matter in the end for Uri would give his helping hand. Though the thing was... He partially wanted more of this power himself, he wanted to grow strength by defeating other fire entities like the Raging Blazard. Even though they may have won on a team effort... It felt like a great reward, to feel himself grow, to see the result of his training.
- "Be ready---" The power he tried to send into his sister...Just might of left her scarred for some time... This was a bit dangerous and he was unsure as to why she would allow this, when tensions were high when the cave itself was like the doorway to hell! "Faira!" He shouts in concern, trying to calm himself down through a focus of breathing, to maintain his own flame.
- This was done to manage the burns he may have sustained... He had to fight pain with a serene state of mind. "Focus..." He coached himself, enough for his raging flame to vanish, while Faira...Well, the end result of this event would be a mystery... After all, they were all in this together, one way or another, through their strength was the beast of flames truly defeated.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [14:56] Roxy hurried to Faira's side. However, her instructions were a little confusing to her. Wind was something that helped bolster flames, not cool them. She didn't know what to do, but she was needed by the three, for they were in pain. She began to think, "Even if it's not actual fire, it takes time for wind to cool something down. What can I do to speed... it up...?"
- She came to a realization, and began to hold her hands towards the orb. The fire surrounding it was strong, almost too great for any normal person to handle. It was so hot that the ends of the caves were glowing with heat. However, she had thought that the heat was due to the glowing hot fire of the orb. "What if I... reduce the flames?" she asked herself.
- She began to form a small sphere around the orb... a vortex of sorts. The vortex swirled steadily, around and around, spinning faster and faster and faster. She made sure not to cut or push Faira's handstoo much, but the vortex was almost a small tornado with how fast the air spun. "If I can't cool it directly... I'll make sure the flames aren't as bright," she stated.
- The winds began to suck the oxygen out of the fire. She didn't want the fire completely gone, but she wanted to lessen the burden of touching it by making sure the flames were small enough so as not to harm anyone. She looked onward, concentrating heavily, making sure not to blink, for if she missed a step, she could accidentally fuel the fire with her flames, spreading it to everyone in the cave.
- (Roxy Gracias)
- [15:01] Well, she wasn't expecting -that- to happen. What was a normal gathering trip had turned into them fighting a creature, which she expected, but as to why they were fighting it was a different story in the end. She just simply expected them to walk out and go find more ores. That was not the case.
- Fai would seem to go and absorb the flames from the creature they had just felled. That didn't seem to be too odd, perhaps it was for some cool ability of some sort, or something like that. But the next part, would seem a bit to far really.
- She would go along with it though.
- Fai had plunged her hands into the lava, seemingly with protection at the very least. What she would pull out was an orb of what seemed to be an orb coated in fire. It was quite a spectacle really, but as Fai had raised it towards her back and held it there, it would seem she would have to help.
- She wasn't to keen on pushing a fiery orb into someone's back, but she wouldhelp regardless.
- "Alright!"
- She would rather quickly jump to action, helping push the flaming orb into Fai's back and shoulders. She herself for got to do a bit of protection, so she'd probably have to wrap her hands later, but for now she'd deal with it. No pain, no gain. Right?
- The process wasn't super smooth though, Fai would seem to have some scarring on one of her shoulders. It seemed the pursuit of strength was a taxing one. Hopefully there wasn't any need for her to do such a thing. She would give a bit of a reaction though.
- "Ouch! That's really hot! Are you alright? There's no way that can't hurt, being pushed into your back like that."
- (Emi)
- [15:12] As Uri worked on her right shoulder scarring it permanently. Emi worked on her other side as well as her back the orb being forced into her leaving a mark as well as a huge burn mark on it. Her flames would dissipate body weakened after the ordeal. Falling to her knees she would use her hands now burned as well from the over exposure to the compressed flame.
- Her body taxed. Now breathing heavily all the voices around her drowned out as her body would radiate with an immense heat. Faira would soon stand thereafter her eyes closed for the moment before opening them to show her eyes had taken on a different shade. Now a slight glow of golden proportion.
- "..."
- She remained silent before making her way in a slow manner towards Uri. Lifting his arm and using it as support to walk for the time being. Her thoughts were clouded and distant... For a time Faira would just observe.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [15:19] With the flames now gone, now, would be their time of nurturing and recovery. The flames within the siblings, may just have changed forever and for the better... Through his attempt to try and help his sister, will grow an even stronger will to heal those under the wings of flame. Through this failure will he grow and take the rejection of the gods so that he would create something more for simple mortals such as himself. From his sisters pain, will her always remember the damage e's done... Not by miscalculations or any fault of their own, but through just plain old bad luck.
- Yes, because of this, will the little phoenix within him grow. Uri showed his compassion through his sister and those he cared for... Even now, as they were tired and drained from the battle against the Raging Blazard… Soon, in dear time, will they be able to fight the beast on their own without aid from anyone else, just one on one... Now, Uri would simply lead them all back to Osrona, where they could both recover and learn how to better adapt to the magic of fire.
- "From this day onward... We'll let this fuel the flames of our spirits. Right, sister?" A Wildfire & A Phoenix, two very different forms of flame, on the same card, from the same mother and father.
