The Far Side on Acid and with Mrs. Skilton

The cartoon shows a cat named Fluffy sitting on a floral-patterned sofa, looking uncomfortable. Fluffy's owner, a bespectacled man in a plaid shirt, stands nearby and asks, "What's wrong, Fluffy?"

Fluffy looks up with a pained expression and replies, "I think I had too much milk," as a thought bubble above Fluffy's head shows the cat happily lapping up a bowl of milk labeled "Mom's best milk" in bubbly font.

In the next panel, explosive diarrhea is shown erupting from Fluffy's rear end, covering the sofa and splashing the owner. The splatter reaches all the way up to the owner's face, as his glasses are covered in brown goo.

In the final panel, the owner stands in horror and disgust, his mouth agape, while Fluffy walks away, looking satisfied with the mess it has made. In the background, a group of rats are seen rushing towards the soiled sofa, with one rat exclaiming, "Jackpot!"

As the owner tries to clean up the mess, he notices a small "Far Side" sticker on the bottom of the sofa cushion, leading him to mutter, "This is just like one of those Gary Larson cartoons."

The last panel zooms out to reveal that the entire scene is being watched by a group of anthropomorphic cows peering through the window, with one cow saying to the others, "See, I told you humans were weird."

Suddenly, the door bursts open, and Mrs. Skilton from Regina enters the room, her flabby, saggy elbows swinging wildly. On the backs of her elbows, one can see areolas and nipples tattooed in bright colors.

"Hey, hey, what's going on here?" Mrs. Skilton asks, grinning broadly as she eyes the messy scene. "Looks like Fluffy had a bit of a problem."

The owner looks at her in confusion, wondering who this strange woman is and how she got into his house.

Mrs. Skilton walks over to the cows peering through the window and starts stuffing Timbits into their bovine love canals. "There, there," she coos, "that should keep you ladies satisfied for a while."

The owner shakes his head in disbelief, wondering what kind of bizarre world he has stumbled into. As he tries to clean up the mess, he hears Mrs. Skilton muttering under her breath, "I wonder if I can get that cat to try some of my homemade catnip tea."

Fluffy looks over at Mrs. Skilton and shudders, knowing he wants nothing to do with her strange concoctions.

As the owner finishes cleaning up, he realizes that this will be a day he won't soon forget, filled with Gary Larson-style oddities and characters. He just hopes that Fluffy's next milk-induced episode won't be as messy as this one.
