💎 : I have a similar story. The letter was not in paper, it was through a pc. At the end of the letter, like Microsoft Words have these free art you can insert right? At the end was a big picture of Santa. When I showed it off to my parents saying "I got a letter from Santa!" they told me coldly "This logo..this art...that's not the real Santa."

💎 : When I told people this on stream chat told me of how shameless and obscene that statement was. "Real anime fans watch at normal speed!" they say, and they shamed me for it

🏴‍☠️ : I have my own feelings about this topic, but if you have good reasons I may be convinced.
💎 : Aren't we hololive members pretty busy? There live work outside and long streams everyday. In that kind of everyday life, aren't there like only little free time left? When it's like that and you want to watch an entire season of anime in one go, if it's only one cour 12-13 episodes that's already 5-6 hours. If you watch it at 1.25X or 1.5X speed it gets shorter and if you skip the openings and endings too

💎 : I of course watch them at least once. What a wonderful opening! and so on and on. But after that I want to know about the story more. This finishes in about 3-4 hours and it all takes place as I eat while looking at my laptop. At 1.25X speed, there's filler scenes right. Like the ones that pan over to the background or have meaningless dialogue in them to just fill time

💎 : There are those scenes right, so 1.25X is about the right speed for when you feel things are getting dragged out.

💎 : 1.5X speed is too fast and it gets hard to listen. 1.25 is about right. I got so used to it when I tried watching at normal speed I can't help but think "These people speak so slowly!"

💎 : For the sake of the busy people 1.25 is always there. Society may judge us for doing things this way, like the one next to me, but please think about it. Youtube (she calls it yootsube, another Japanese slang)  has the option to go 1.25X speed too. You can even do 2X. Netflix, everyone's beloved, too has the option to go 1.25X or 1.5X speed. If Society really is right the platforms wouldn't offer the option, but they do!

💎 : Me too actually, only after joining Hololive I started. I didn't even know 1.25X speed is an option before then. It all started one day when I noticed Netflix has a 1.25 speed option
🌽 : For recent animes I watch at normal speed but if it's something like One Piece it's a 1.5X.

Letter 1:  Fubuki-san, Marine onee-san, and IRyS, good day! During IRyS' debut stream she said that she likes Gundam Seed a lot as she shows how she can speak and read Japanese. She went on about the movie version machine-gun speed nonstop...what is this high spec EN coordinator vtuber.!? I thought. Even if now you can talk about it all day long, what was the reason you watched Gundam Seed in the first place? Question to Fubuki and Marine, what is your favorite Gundam?
🌽 : What was the reason?

💎 : I got into it through my sister. It was from her generation and she would watch it on her computer and I would recognize it as anime. Gundam Seed's opening too had a lot of naked people in it and I would uhh
🏴‍☠️ : That was the thing that lured you in wasn't it??? This woman is perverted!
💎 : So much excessive naked bodies, but there's robots too, but the characters are so cute. I also wanted to know about the cute pink haired girl. Well, back then I was still watching Hamtarou so when I got older I remembered about it and that I watched it with my sister. As I watched it I got deep into it, it is long but the best part about is how the story progresses. The VAs are also great, Ishida Akira, I like him a lot, that's influenced by Eva.
💎 : I just remembered it now but I started watching Eva because of Ishida Akira. Turned out I like Eva a lot too so I looked for more stuff with him and turns out I already saw it.

🏴‍☠️ : Gundam for me... how do I put it, has a really high hurdle to get through. Gundam as a series is so long and if you don't have knowledge of what is going on it's hard to get into it. I am not that interested in robots in the first place. When Gundam Seed was coming out I had no interest in it, I was watching Code Geass

🏴‍☠️ : Talking about seasons...it should be close, no, I think it was Gundam 00 that was on alongside Code Geass.
🏴‍☠️ : I also get the inspiration to start watching animes through seiyuus. If a seiyuu I like is on, I really like female VAs who can do young boy voices. There's not many roles though but Gundam was there, that was Gundam Wing. I am literally the worst, so as I explained earlier I don't care about the story and only watch anime for the characters. So at the back of the tape there's the synopsis right? I read all of that and only pick out the ones that Quatre-sama appears in. I don't care about the story, I just want to hear Quatre-sama's voice

💎 : Completely filled with bishounens. Recently, I like Seed a lot, but I have started watching other gundams too. I started with Hathaway's Flash and now I am back at the original series

Letter 2:  Sukondawa! Talking about IRyS, the recent strongest new visual tofu became quite the topic of discussion. I have a question, do you have any dishes in Japanese cuisine that you cannot stand. Other than tofu, do you like natto as well? Also please have kenchin soup when you want to get better.

💎 : About the Kenchin soup, the name came up in a splatoon stream. There was a player on the opposing side named "Kenchinjiru". When I first read the name there was the chin so

💎 : About that when I go to yakiniku I ask the person applying the tare to just use salt. The pan too absorbs the flavor so even if there's just salt on the meat the bottom is still tare-flavored
