## What data does Backup Bot collect? ##
1. Backup Bot collects data such as Guild Data, Guild ID, Channels, Roles, Emojis, User IDs, and data that is made by the user.
    * The following data for each category ("Guild Data", "Channels", "Roles", "Emojis") is listed here:
    a. The bot collects Guild Data such as the Guild Name, Guild Icon, Guild Settings, and more.
    b. The bot collects Channel Data such as the name of the channel, the topic, the channel settings, the permissions of the channel, and more.
    c. The bot collects Role Data such as the name of the role, the color, the settings of the role, and the permissions set on the role.
    d. The bot collects Emoji Data, like the name of the emoji and the icon of it.
    * All of this data that is listed is collected when the user initiates a Backup on the server.
2. Backup Bot also collects and stores temporary data in RAM ("Random Access Memory"), meaning that it is stored in the cache until the bot is restarted. The data collected includes Messages, Guilds, Channels, and Interactions. This data is not stored persistently in the database unless a user does a specific event in the bot that does so.
3. The bot also sends a message once it's added to a guild, or if it's removed from a guild to a Private Channel.

## Why does Backup Bot need this data? ##
1. The bot requires data such as Guild Data, Channels, Roles, and Emojis to perform a restore process of a backup, and this data is only collected when the user creates a Backup.
2. The bot needs to know User IDs so it can know which users are whitelisted.
3. The bot needs other data to be collected in order to function correctly.

## Does the bot share data with other third parties? ##
No, the bot has and will not share this data with other third parties besides Discord.

## How can I contact the Developers if I have questions or concerns? ##

## What if I want to remove my data from the bot? ##
1. You can delete your Backup using the "/settings delbackup" command found in "/backups". Do note that this action is not reversible, and we cannot recover said data if it is deleted!
2. If you wish to delete any other data, you can contact the Developers through the Discord Server (https://discord.gg/gMvfVdb), and we can help delete the data.
