+DevonThing __ Just letting you know that I have added you to the "commenting whitelist" so you won't have to wait for your comments in future to appear (I'm experimenting with "moderated comments" for a little while). Although I cannot speak for +cabadejo I would point out that the shape of the Earth serves many purposes.

Purposes such as *_"Why do we even believe the Earth is round in the first place?"_* That is to say - suppose there is evidence suggesting it is round - that is good and well but there are still many people (if not most) who believe the Earth is round *but have never looked at that evidence!* Their belief is not justified _and can only exist as a result of trust._

These are issues I'll be exploring and posting about (I have a "flat/ball Earth" video that should be posted in the next couple of hours).

While there *does* appear to be a nefarious element to the flat Earth topic - the topic/issue itself *is* worthwhile etc. Anyone who rejects the "nightly news" will need to figure things out for many things - including the shape of the Earth!

How one goes about examining the "shape of the Earth" issue (and arriving at a conclusion) can then use that approach to examine other issues etc.

(Hopefully that has made some kind of sense - I'm typing quickly!)
