  1. Dragons crossing the skies of Pekopon recently had not been anything to marvel at for the people. Really, even the screaming and fleeing in terror soon became a thing of expectation with an element of wonder. So whether the magnificent, silvery-scaled creature passing overhead went unnoticed by those on the ground or not didn't really matter, they only would have avoided it with their noisy habit anyway. Certainly, it was spared unwelcome investigation, which was appreciated; though strangely, other dragons would not have been pleased with the ease that this apparent companion went about its business. They would have preferred it to have faced some sort of outside scrutiny, or more precisely, this would have been the preference of their self-proclaimed master who had robbed them of their will.

  3. Well, perhaps it's better to dispense with the pretenses surrounding this particular beast and what appeared to be its unique freedom of spirit. The creature was no dragon, nor was it a creature, for that matter. The passage of its throat welcomed not prey into a hollow belly, but rather passengers, and it's debatable whether or not an actual dragon would have been able to digest a good half of such a meal if it had tried to eat the ship's occupants. One was composed of an oozing blue liquid that had no right to exist as anything but toxic goo; another would possibly electrocute anything that tried to ingest him with circuitry that wound in place of veins through one half of his body; and the last was last was of a completely different structure, made of nothing but skin and muscle, though he had some additional ornaments of silver and sapphire.
