“How did I know you weren’t in the cabin?” I said. The Wraith bobbed his head the tiniest bit, then dry wretched. Gow doused him again and headed back to the sink.

“You’re not used to hiding in the cold,” I said. “You buried yourself pretty well, but you didn’t put snow in your mouth. Every time you exhaled it lit up on thermal like a strobe light.”
