Countless swords of Azure appeared in his hands.

"Let's change it up!"

And he threw them skyward. The many blades multiplied further as they flew toward the gray clouds above, then lost their momentum and fell back down. They stabbed into the ring like grave markers everywhere, but to the audience's puzzlement, none fell towards Ikki.

"Hoi!"

Before anyone could question the act, Amane threw two new Azure towards those planted in the floor ahead. The thrown blades hit, and bounced like pinballs.

「Th-The swords of Contender Shinomiya are careening about the ring! U-Unbelievable!?」

「…He's bouncing off the stationary swords in the perfect way to keep going, not just at random.」

Just as Saikyou made her observation, the moving swords sprang toward Ikki from both sides. It was nothing hard for Ikki to repel, but when he did─

"Ahaha, that's naive, Ikki-kun!"

Amane spat mockery at Ikki, and one of the swords Ikki had deflected bounced back at him, aimed at his temple.

"Kuh…."

Ikki's outstanding reflexes allowed him to evade, but the dodged sword hit the another by the strangest luck, and─

「W-What is is!? The thrown swords keep hitting the stationary ones and bouncing back with bullet speed! There's no end to it!」

"Hahaha! Isn't it incredible!? These are hounds that keep hunting you even if you dodge, for as long as I want you bitten! And adding more is easy!"

Amane threw more blades of Azure, and they multiplied to more than thirty as they bounced across the swords in the ring. Sounds of metal squealing against metal filled the venue. It was more than Ikki could handle.

"If I had to make a prediction, I think you'll lose without even touching me, Ikki-kun!"

Upon his taunt, swords pointed toward Ikki from all directions. There was no way Ikki could elude them, and deflecting them would only lead to the same thing continuing to happen. Assured of his victory, Amane smiled—and then his eyes widened.

"Huh?"

In the instant Ikki was to be pierced by the blades, he ripped off his uniform jacket and spun it around with his hand like a dancer's veil, catching the copies of Azure shooting toward him. Instead of eluding or deflecting, Ikki had ended their motion without the slightest expression of concern.
