“Unmask”
To the tragic beauty living in the past,
To the pious man afraid of acting rash,
To the ballerina too numb to dance,
Unmask.
Society takes but never gives,
Heart unfeeling,  dumbfuck stone cold hicks,
Small town peasants don’t understand shit,
Unmask.
It’s been a long time, and now, I must pay,
With blood, with truth, on this very day.
With these honest words, so I shall say.
Unmask.
Fitting in  doesn’t mean a thing,
If the cost of such an action is your dream.
In fact, It could cost your soul to sing,
Unmask.
The truth is I and many more,
Find humanity at large a bore.
Selling yourselves out like thieves and whores,
Unmask.
All my life, I really did not fit,
And though I did try to commit,
I found it was, well, not quite worth it.
