Thank you so much for reading this manga.
It's been about 5 years since I last published a book about Casio and Mitsuru.
That's quite a large gap between the releases, so I hope you were able to thoroughly enjoy this one.

Amputees in general can be a pretty touchy topic, considering how dark the contents can get.
These two characters were ultimately created purely for comedy purposes.
I made them to create some heartwarming scenes that could only happen with an amputee.

I really love amputees, so when I wrote this manga, I kept thinking about things like "It'd be really cute if Mitsuru moved like this", or "It'd be really cute if Mitsuru said something like this", and that's basically what laid out the plot.
Essentially speaking, this manga was really made to revolve around Mitsuru, and Casio was sort of created to serve as a supporting role, but his presence turned out to grow much stronger than I imagined, so I feel like that sense of freedom he brough to the manga ended up to be an important part of its atmosphere.

If the chance comes again, I'd like to draw these two again sometime.
