  1. Key: Fortido3
  2. Character: Shallot Stark
  3. Skill(or transformation): SSJ2 50% Mastery
  4. How well do you know the source material?(obviously not relevant if it's a transformation):
  5. Reasoning: Shallot attempted to face a wounded Pegasus Yeqin off, hoping to recover the drastically injured Rose and Salla-- but in a key moment, her ascended transformation drained her of energy and caused her to revert to base form. In mid-fall, her opponent recovered, brutalizing her with quick and pinpoint strikes that crushed her inside and out. It was a humiliating display, one that left her side limping back while she remains captured by the enemy. A frustrated Shallot uses this humiliation as a springboard to master her own energy output.
  6. What is the moment: She thought she'd be satisfied with that loss.
  7.
  8. Yeqin had been acting strange. Compared to the woman she knew, the one who had risked it all to defy her parentage and strike back at the demons of Einherjar, alone at times, bearing her life on the line without hesitation to liberate a land she couldnt even call her home... This Yeqin acted strange, distant, even superior. It couldnt have only been Pak Chois influence-- hell, was it at all? Had Shallot ever really known the true Pegasus Saint?
  9.
  10. The fight was to be a test of wills, a way of gauging whether her former comrade was wavering even slightly in her new ideals-- yet, every step she took was perfectly informed, every move Shallot made countered before it even crossed her mind to pursue it. Yeqin was heavily damaged, but hardly showed it in her movement; she danced around and evaded every attack like a majestic winged beast, leaving her mark heavily with each precise approach, then withdrawing without a moments hesitation. Compared to such an effortless display of overwhelming force, was her conviction to her cause even on the map?
  11.
  12. And so, she thought, perhaps it'd be better to end it this way. Perhaps she'd been wrong all along to follow the Time Dragon in her quest to recompose the world's timeline with the Dragon Balls, to put her trust in a woman who had patiently, lovingly rended every barrier she had put in place between them. Perhaps Pak and Yeqin had the just cause, after all-- to restore the island she called home to its former majesty, to prioritize their own above a lofty goal with no clear end in sight...
  13.
  14. But then, Yeqin said eight little words that spun her all the way back around.
  15.
  16. "That's right, Shallot. To defy me is wrong to begin with."
  17.
  18. ...What the hell was that? Were those the words of Dragon Island's greatest rebel, the icon of the Resistance who had held out when nobody else had? They sounded more like her mother than anything else-- but no, it couldnt be that. Suddenly, all the answers Shallot had conveniently accepted with her loss flew away like the summer breeze, leaving only the gaping void of uncertainty to replace it. Was Yeqin really changed, then? Or had she always been this kind of person?
  19.
  20. Another fight. Another challenge. She couldnt drop instantly like she had. She needed the full answer-- the whole truth. That was the only way she could be satisfied!
