[center][b]Chapter 20: Components of a Daddy[/b][/center]

Greg got up as the bathysphere rose up and the group prepared themselves. Soon, Dolor's figure was shown as the group tried to leave but the bathysphere door didn't open. Worse still was that the part outside in front of the door ignited in flames as Dolor spoke. "Nice try but I've got all the ADAM in the city now, pal and there's nothing you or your friends can do about it."

"Son of a b****!" Greg cursed as the bathysphere shook and the door soon opened. The group walked out as Kajiraion spoke. "[i]What is this you wait for? Go and get this idiot![/i]"

The group quickly ran after Dolor, reaching a closed door that led into another glass tube hallway that then opened and they resumed running. They reached another locked door, this one made of glass as they saw a security drone flying towards them and shooting at the door, shattering it. With an Electro Bolt from Joseph, Kairi quickly hacked the drone and the group resumed the chase. They soon reached an area as an explosion happened and some debris fell.

"Last chance, friend. You and your friends pack it in now and I'll leave this stinking dump to all of you and Frau Kraut. All of you keep on coming and Radiance's a fish tank." Dolor warned as the group walked over to the door but couldn't open it. "Damn! He cut us off!" Greg growled as Sora asked. "What are we going to do now?"

"[i]Scheisse! You let him get away! I need a moment for thinking.[/i]" Kajiraion said as Joseph replied. "The guy practically blocked us off. What were we suppose to do?"

The group walked over to the Strength Of The People vending machine and upgraded their weapons as Kajiraion shared her idea. "[i]Ah! Ach, of course! This will be no problem. Find a Big Daddy and search his body. I would suggest you to be finding a dead one.[/i]"

"Okay..." Kynthia said, unsure then found a Big Daddy corpse nearby. "There's one."

Greg walked over to the corpse and searched it, finding a strange circuit. "Looks like some sort of control system."

"[i]You see the suit control system? Sehr gut. Get it. That is step one of turning you into one of those disgusting Big Daddies. The only way to get through that door Fontaine went through is to have a little one open it for you. And they'll only trust you if you look like, sound like, and even smell like one of those big, stinking brutes.[/i]" Kajiraion explained as Joseph's mouth gaped wide open. "You want Greg to become a Big Daddy? A FRICKIN BIG DADDY?"

"[i]Da. You'll also need to find four more suit control system if you want to go with him.[/i]" Kajiraion added as Joseph groaned. "Great, just great."

"Where do we start searching for the components?" Kairi asked as Greg looked at the group. "We should start searching for those suit control systems."

The group began exploring, going upstairs to a library and hacking the turret and security cam inside. They soon found about five pair of Big Daddy boots, one on top of a desk and the others laid around the floor. The group took the boots and placed them on as Sora commented. "Wierd place to put Big Daddy boots."

"[i]Was ist los? Why are these boots here? They should be in Failsafe Armored Escorts. Ach, no matter. Take them, take them.[/i]" Kajiraion complained as Kynthia replied. "We already have them on. Oh and I found a suit control system." She then showed the group the circuit she was holding. The group then left the library as Dolor spoke. "[i]Where you gonna go? Your life? Your family? They're a fairy tale, friend. No more real than something you watch in the Saturday Night shows. Poor bastard. A motherless freak whipped up in a half-baked science experiment with his now dead brother.[/i]"

"Shut the hell up, Dolor!" Greg growled as the group walked ahead and entered the Failsafe Armored Escorts. They killed a Splicer that was ahead then Kairi hacked a turret as Greg checked the nearby teddy bear placed in front of the Gatherer's Garden. They then opened more slots and upgraded their Winter Blast, Electro Bolt, Incinerate, Cyclone Trap and Insect Swarm. They then searched a nearby Big Daddy corpse, finding another suit control system then entered the left door that was nearby.

The door closed behind them and the lights in the room went red as something was sprayed on them. "Looks like a decontamination chamber." Joseph said as Kajiraion replied. "[i]Da. After Zivaku takes this place, here is where they build their filthy golems, their Frankensteins. Find the pieces of the suit. Guide the little ones.[/i]"

"We will." Greg nodded as the lights went green and the door in front opened. They went through, hacking the security drone and killing the lone Leadhead Splicer then went to the door on their right. They searched the room then went out the way they entered and walked to the right, reaching two more doors, one in front and the other on the left. The group entered the left door and entered the Candidate Induction. Dolor then spoke. "[i]I'd turn tail if I were you, friend. Ain't nothin' here for any of you but tears.[/i]"

"Go to hell." Joseph replied. The group searched the room and found five Big Daddy helmets and another suit control system. Kairi groaned as she put on the helmet. "These things reek."

"Tell me about it." Kynthia said as Kajiraion spoke. "[i]Und so, all we need now is bodysuit. By the way, how many suit control system do you have?[/i]"

"Three." Greg replied as Joseph turned around and used Enrage on the two Splicers that appeared. The group then killed them as soon as the two Splicers have weakened each other then began leaving the room when they ran into a Rosie with a Little Sister. Despite the fact that they were wearing the helmets, the Rosie stil opened fire at them and the group engaged it.

The Rosie was soon killed quickly thanks to the group having upgraded their weapons annd Joseph searched the corpse, finding another suit control system as Greg rescued the Little Sister. The girl thanked Greg then left through the porthole as Joseph yelled. "Four suit control system down, one to go unfortunately."

"Not looking forward to being a Big Daddy, are you?" Sora asked as Joseph shook his head. "Nope."

"Me either." Sora replied as the group left the room. They then engaged with a group of Splicers and Greg used his Sonic Boom. The powerful blast of wind sent all of the splicers including the Spider Splicer flying and they fell to the ground. They were then finished off by the others as Joseph whistled. "Nice."

The group returned to the Failsafe Armored Escorts as Kajiraion spoke. "[i]This is where you find bodysuit.[/i]"

Greg nodded as he saw five bodysuits hanging then took one. He then put it on and saw that the rest had it on. He then couldn't help but laugh at Kairi and Kynthia as their bodysuits apparently didn't fit. "You two need to find a bodysuit that fits."

"Shut it!" Kynthia growled and Greg quickly shut up. Dolor the spoke, furiously. "[i]You're playing a bad hand, friend! You're just too spliced to smell it! Roll on back to Mount Kilamanjaro now, or everything's gonna go busto![/i]"

"Why don't you go f*** yourself, Dolor?" Joseph replied as Kajiraion spoke. "[i]We are getting somewhere. Now we will find some pheromones for all of you und a couple of voiceboxes. Let us go now, we have got the work to do.[/i]"

The group headed upstairs then searched the place, finding a video diary of Hojo explaining about how to make ADAM using the Little Sisters to recycle it from corpses. The group then left through the nearby door. They kept walking ahead, killing a Splicer on the way then walked back downstairs. They then entered a small crawlspace that took them to a room with a Values Carnival vending machine, hacked it and restocked their supplies.

They then found a video diayr and played, this one having Hojo's image again as he spoke. "[i]Dolor scary son of a bitch, but Zivaku cheap son of a bitch. You can no reuse protector suit. Take a man, graft skin and organs straight into suit, otherwise suit not work. Zivaku say Big Daddy too expensive. Zivaku can go suck egg.[/i]"

As soon as the video diary stopped playing, Joseph gagged. "This thing still has dead skin and organs? Eww, disgusting."

"Why don't want to have this suit grafted!" Kairi said as Greg calmed the two down. "We're not grafting the bodysuits, we're just using them to convince the Little Sisters to trust us."

Sora sighed. "That's a relief." The group then left back out through the crawlspace and entered the left door. They entered the Candidate Conversion room and looked around, hacking two turrets that were nearby. They also found another video diary of Hojo's, speaking about the Big Daddy boots being shipped to the library instead of their original destination.

"That explains why the boots where there." Josep said as Sora nodded. "Zivaku wasn't just paranoid but his delivery system was also incompetent."

"We should go searching for the pheromones and voiceboxes." Greg said then the group left the room as Joseph said. "I'm warning you guys that if those pheromones makes us behave differently with each other, I'm not responsible for any accidents, especially if it happens with Kynthia and Kairi."

A large thump was then heard as Jospeh yelled in pain.

[b]I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. Next chapter, the group still lack the two components to become Big Daddies but they also run into an old friend. Unfortunately, they also run into another aquaintace seeking revenge.[/b]
