- Chapter 12 . What you can expect to find in the slims of Rollp Lay. Criminals.. Criminal activites. Rebels. Rebel activities. Evil.. Darkness... All those sorts of horrible stuff. With one or two exceptions.
- Ild had been busy lately. He had to hug and cuddle with his girlfriend, as Toast and Sonne kept fighting the Asurans. Yeah... Ild was a pretty busy man. Truly. Ild... Was not the lazy and laid back hero most people viewed him as. At his youth Ild had received fierce training by his mentor. At the old training hall,he remembered... Ild was back then a little boy, making several slashes with his sword attempting to chop off the tree in one move. It was failing. He attempted several times.. Once more.. He had almost got it. No.. It failed. Ild was tired, and he let go of the sword... But as he did.. There was something, hitting him in the stomach. Wynd had just poked him with the back of his sword.
- "Pick it up"
- "But.. Master..i am.. Tired"
- "Pick it up"
- And Ild would pick the weapon up, attempted to cut the tree. He was failing. Attempted again. He was too tired to think he was failing anymore. Attempted again.. Again failed.
- "A disgrace. You.. Don't have it in you. You can never become a hero... Come on now.. Release your energy. The fire from the i side"-was Wynd saying, before he bowed down near ild, his hand pointed at his own heart's direction.
- "The power.. Comes from here. The strength... If you have no belief, how can you fight? You can always and only fight for your beliefs. Remember that. Now go.. Believe. With the heart , bring forth your flames.. And strike that tree"
- Ild was revitalized. His strength had come back as he gave a strong and firm
- "Yes Master" , before starting to attack the tree again. And again...
- Ild was back in the present. Sonne and Toast hadn't returned yet. He went out... And as soon as he did, he was lunched in his torso by an Iron Guard. Luna got up quickly and proceeded to punch the Iron Guard into submission several times, before two more came. She let out her fire vortex thingy . It hurt them. It hurt them bad. But as she fought the incoming guards, releasing her flames towards then, she found them... Consumed. A burst of blue flames had emitted and covered her own, eating it away. Luna went on, only to have the fiery bird like entity burst in her face, and almost consume her whole. It.. It was not going to end that way was it? No. Ild had come, and he faced the bird thingy with his Hyper Combat Dragon Head thingy. And here the two were. Twice before they clashed, and now... Now the victor would emerge. Ari would go on and hit him several times with the flames, but as Ild dodged, they begun spreading out again. In Hyper Combat he charged forward, before once more activating Hyper Combat.. Making himself exponentially faster . Ari stood no chance, but... Suddenly, he found himself thrown back. And he had so hit the ground, towards the flames, moving in closer to him. They were almost ready to grab him in their embrace, before he moved up. No.. He wasn't giving in to this fate.
- Ild proceeded to fire one dragon head slash. Ari materialized her blue flames, moving in around her and shielding Ari from the attack. It was this far futile. Ild attempted one more dragon slash, and another... Ari was suffering no damage, but right then.. She fell for his trap. From below her feet a burst of hyper co,bat energy emerged, throwing her upwards. Her armor was damaged, but.. Again she was hit, slashed, slashed once more.. And a dragon bullet attack right in her torso. The damage was pretty serious, to her armor and body. She stood up. Using the staff for support, as she flung it several times, three of the bird like entities wandering around, but Ild.. Ild had already taken measure. The Hyper Force Wave attack burst through the roof as Ari took full on impact. Her Asuran armor was destroyed.. Her body harmed greatly... She had only one choice. She could barely mutter
- "Asuran arms: Empress Wrath"-as Flames coated her body, the damage healed, the armor fixed, the staff tearing apart, revealing underneath a blade.. A blade made of glass. Ari flied up. Two wings of blue flames holding her in flight, as she swung the glass blade. The sound resonated for miles, Ild was thrown off his balance.
- Ild proceeded to enter his enhanced Hyper Combat and fight back. It seemed to be more difficult, as flames were now appearing out of nowhere. He tried moving quickly, defending himself, as the flames on the oath to Ari had already spread out. In a few moments.. The whole building was catching fire, and as Ild was nowhere to be seen.. He was in a pinch.
- Luna was herself in quite the predicament, as she barely managed to get out of the building. What to do , what to do...she found herself unable to fight. No.. Why? She was a fighter wasn't she? A strong one? But in the other hand, the other guys defeated all those iron guards and Asurans, and she failed to even get through upper City. Well.. It wasn't true. She had fought.. She was brave... Brave, but was she strong enough? No.. She was not. Luna was about to burst in tears, right when.. Something hit her and threw her backwards. Ild was flung off the building by a burst of those flames, as he was forced to get his shirt off , if he didn't want to get consumed. Ild... Ild had lost the fight. More and more of the fiery blasts were coming and he could only carry Luna away and run. What else could Ild do now...
- The man walked towards the ruined building, he was carrying a huge mass of wood pillars and several tools. He looked at the building's state.. He actually remembered that fall. When he destroyed Ari's shop... He even remembered Ari. Huh..strange world. That thought was almost in sync , through all of the voices. What was going on? Where was he? What was he doing? Why was he doing it? It felt all so weird. He was of course helping a friend. But then, some voices arose. Was she just a friend? Heh... He surely did know the answer. Last night... Why had he even promised her that? That... Actually, this. He proceeded to lower the pillars and start working on the shop. It was a fairly small thing so.. He could finish it, in a few days. His strength and speed were already quite great. And right there.. His perception too. Quickly turning around he saw, Lone and Wynd standing there. Lone recognized his face, and he was about to pull his knives. Wynd was much calmer. Much, much calmer. Too calm... Very calm. Obviously knowing something.
- "Well as you see.. I am making use of my vacation time. I don't have the time and space to fight you so... "-Dyonissious said, before he got interrupted.
- "What are you doing?"-asked Lone, as if almost accusing him.
- "Rebuilding the property I destroyed"
- "And I thought Asurans were all cruel bastards."-Wynd mocked him. Not that he spared the mockery to anyone.
- "Mind you.. I made a promise"
- "To who exactly?-Lone asked, still in disbelief and ready to attack.
- "To one of those cruel bastards your friend mentions"-Dyonissius said, continuing his work. In a little while though, one of the pillars was about to fall. Dyonissous tried to grab it , but... He failed. And right when he thought he had lost it, Lone had appeared. Holding the pillar using the strength of his shoulders, he moved it up with ease. Wynd would proceed to pick a few of them and throw them up, before placing each and every in their spots, before any of the pillars landed. He had to show it.. The badassery and awesomeness. It was no time for words.. Dyonissius kept working on the shop.
- Last night.
- There were only two figures . One, much larger.. One shorter, smaller... They leaned in closer to each-other... Dyonissius had found someone.. That was...Ari. It didn't matter much, he just found a person he did really care about. Dyonissius had always cared about the other Asurans in all honesty, but... But this once it was different. It was said, anyone who heard her voice would fall immediately in love... That was probably not true. Ari had met opposition before, yet.. Dyonissius found himself unable to hold on to his pursue of the self without her. It.. It was not right. He had to do it himself, but... Couldn't he use a little bit of help? Couldn't he let a part of himself be defined by another person? The answer was yet unclear. Ari in the other hand had.. A similar matter. It is not as if she was weak, not weaker than the other Asurans, but.. She did need some protection. And help after all. They had all lived a hollow life, void of many things the average human gets to experience. They , the Asurans, deserved the right to... What good did it do? Having one more shiny white knight in her side? But... That was all too confusing now.
- ...
- Dyonissious kept hitting the nails with his hammer, and as he was stretching out a bit, he looked at the incomplete shop. Ari would be glad... At least he had someone who would be glad for something he did. Ari was wrong after all.. Their power could be used for good. Their power.. Was being used for good. He was glad though.
- "Gonna keep daydreaming, or are you coming to help us with this thing?
- "-Lone's voice came from over the shop. Dyonissius went in and proceeded to help them with the shop. It was a tough job. A really tough job. He had never done any of it before, and he got many of those things messed up. Lone at east had some knowledge. That was good. Wait.. What would Dr.Sonnemuz think of this?
- In his office the man clasped his fingers, the light reflected through his glasses more visible... He showed no signs of anger, fear or anything as he watched over the events unfold. Deep inside, he was burning. It had not all gone according to plan. His design was shattered indeed. First with Anos and now with those two little lovers down there.. It made him furious. Very furious. He couldn't let his plans be diverted, as then... His door knocked. He proceeded to make a small gesture with his hand, while the gate opened by itself, letting in two familiar faces. One.. A tall and muscular warrior, and the other, a short , black haired girl. His two highest ranking officials.
- "Nealon. Batias. We.. Need to prepare for Phase 3. When Ascension is completed, and so is Phase 2 , we will need to make the energy discharge. And for this part.. I need no interruptions. No funny accidents.. No random Asurans bursting into the whole thing and start killing everyone"-he said, his tone, calm , cold.. As always.
- "What?'-Nealon asked, slight shock in her voice. But she.. She was more surprised, as.. What Asuran did he mean? Not her , of course. Right?
- "I am talking about Ari and Dyonssius. Be wary of their actions. You may now go. And.. Remember, this task is for your ears only"-he said, as he sat back in his chair, clasping his fingers and looking evil.
- Ild and Luna were well rested by now. They... They could do this. They could get past this problem. It wasn't that difficult. If they were too weak, they would grow stronger. If they were indecise, they would make their hearts into stone. That is how heroes rolled. And that is what they were. Heroes. The duo proceeded to walk down the main street, as Ari would fly towards them, still in her Asuran Arms release.
- The clash between the two was about to begin and... And...
- Dyonissius was almost finished. He looked at the now , almost completed shop, as Lone and Wynd parted ways with him and each-other, each to his own. But as he proceeded to give one last look to the shop.. Something hit him. In his mind.. Something bad. It happened? No.. It was about to happen.
