  1. Oh yeah I apologize I have been a bit scatter brained lately. I did give my card to your mother the other day because she was telling me how you enjoy and are good with computers.

  5. Right now I am in the process of revamping the entire business (we formerly were operating under Downriver Computer Solutions which is owned by The Local Effect, LLC). I do own the company. I really started the whole business off with doing side work repairing computers, virus removals, fixing minor hardware issues and consulting with people that didn’t really know a whole lot about technology. At first I was really only advertising through Craigslist and I did run a flyer campaign in my old neighborhood but then I went back to school and kind of didn’t really advertise a whole lot anymore. I still was doing side work but with taking a full load of classes it kind of limited me to what could be done. I graduated back in May and I have one other guy working with me that is more on the Tech Support side of things. He is our network/OS guru I guess you could say. As of the last two months, I have been having more calls for web design & development than I have for Tech Support. I am kind of a jack of all trades I guess you could say. I have a lot of knowledge with tech support for homes and as well as business upkeep. I also have a great deal of knowledge in web development ranging from HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL (pretty much every SQL platform) and I have some fair knowledge in programming also. My one downfall is graphic design but I can do the majority of things and if it’s something I can’t do I do have people on standby to help out.

  9. So basically that’s the background on my company right now. Like I said before we are completely overhauling the entire company. I would absolutely love to focus more on the web side of things (because it obviously pays more and is a lot more enjoyable) but I also want to keep the tech support side open as well. So with that being said I am basically up for anything and everything you can bring on to us. Plus I am more than willing to teach you and basically point you in the direction with the way the web/IT fields are heading in the future, even though I’m not really convinced it is a pretty picture lol. So anyways I do have ADD so I ramble quite a bit so I apologize. I’ll just add a few quick questions at the end and let me know what you think.

  27. Questions:
  28.
  29. -Where about do you live?
  30.
  31. -Would you be willing to meet up with us (it would probably be just me) and talk and go over more in depth etc.
  32.
  33. -Do you have your own car? (not really a huge thing but if we throw you onto a few tech support calls you might need to drive etc.)
  34.
  35. -Do you do any hard drugs? (lol I really don’t care but everybody asks that so I figured I’d throw it in, unless it’s a major drug I could care less)
  36.
  37. -Do you have a good sense of humor and pretty thick skin? (I tend to joke and poke fun a lot and wouldn’t want you to take things personal)
  38.
  39. -Video games…Xbox, PC, or PS3? (This could be a deciding factor so careful now J)

  43. As you can tell I am really laid back and really don’t care a whole lot about anything. Except for making money and actually enjoying work. I mean that’s pretty much why all nerds like computers, because it makes us happy.
