  1. This post may be more fitting in the Guild Recruitment thread, but I wanted this to be visible to all WvW players.
  2.
  3. Regardless, Cutting Edge [EDGE] is on the lookout for roughly 15-20 players who are interested in competitive wvw and who are willing to learn, twist their builds/playstyles/characters to fit the role of a small guild zerg bust.
  4.
  5. If any of the following videos makes you anxious to learn more, if you see yourself on the edge of your seat thinking "they should static now!" or "their condi's are running high, maybe they should...", or "that group keeps doing this thing, what if they tried that maneuver?" or anything of the like, please flick me a message (Is X, Ti X, or L Y) as this may be what you're after.

  19. Be warned, this is not about bag farming, numbers, being the best dueler, "winning the game", creating an ego, or anything like that. The people I am after have to be willing to learn, willing to explore their class, willing to explore other classes, willing to learn how to best utilise their class, willing to learn strengths and weaknesses, willing to synergise with what ever other class on offer, willing to listen to other players inputs, willing to submit input. You have to be willing to evolve with the group, as the group evolves.

  21. This is not about hard core WvW or MLG, the current drivers/teachers I have interested are the most chill players in the game, but we are all willing to put our A into G and get onto the Cutting Edge of where competitive WvW is in Guildwars 2. Essentially, Cutting Edge will be a group of players who love Guildwars 2 game play and want to take it to the next level, or already have taken it to the next level and would love to share their experience with like minded players to bounce ideas off of each other and grow a tight community of epic proportions.

  23. I transferred to Northern Shiverpeaks right before season 2 where transfers were free. For a long time I had been looking at NSP, as the interactions I had had with your roaming individuals made me fall in love with your server. Since I have arrived, the crew here at NSP has been amazing, other commanders always support commanders who are running a borderland/battleground, and your Teamspeak usage is efficient. So for that, I have yearned to start a zerg busting guild for NSP, to give back to NSP what experiences I have had in my Guildwars 2 life. I have connections with numerous people on other servers who, too, are willing to help us out (and possibly/probably even transfer!)/make suggestions/talk to/collaborate with, as the will to learn holds no bounds.
  24.
  25. One thing we do not want, is players who, while they may have the skill, have the wrong attitude. I myself used to have absolutely no skill (zero skill. Bomb kit + spam 1 + autorun = win game), but I remember a commander on my old server Sorrows Furnace coming out of the woods and leading us to victory. From him, I learnt everything, purely because I had the passion to learn. He taught me combo fields, stat caps, good stat combinations, while I took that and showed him the extreme of what my character could do given what he had taught me.
  26.
  27. Skill can be learnt, attitude not so much. Come with the right attitude, convince me that you are wanting to learn and develop, and you're in! We won't require you to rep 100%, as there won't be any need for the guild influence. If this sounds like you, and you are in a 100% rep guild, have a talk with your guild officers or get me in a party with them and we can sort out an agreement. We are looking for reliability, so during raid times you will need to be reliable and present. Outside of raid hours, do what ever you want, as you normally would, but it may be beneficial to practice moves and skills with others in the guild in the off times, so always feel free to PM anyone else in EDGE if you want to roam/just kill practice golems in HOTM
