  42.             This script was originally intended to be a Venom fan-film script. The original short I wrote had Venom in it. The title "THE OTHER" comes from that.
  43.             This <i>is</i> the first draft. So, it's not perfect at all. But, it's something I hold dearly to my heart. It's not as personal as maybe other works,
  44.             but I have had a strange attatchment to this script.
  45.             </p>
  46.             <p>
  47.             I also tried to make this 90 pages. So, if you're wondering <i>why</i> it's only 43 -- I didn't really write enough plot nor did I put enough text. I wrote this with 0 filler in mind so I made sure that there was 0 filler words. But, in doing that, I winded up just making the scenes bare and unimaginative. Which was stupid of me.
  48.             </p>
  49.             <p>
  50.             The inspiration after I wrote the Venom short script was Zach Cregger's Resident Evil. I actually felt like I needed a new script to write, and at that point I had gotten rid of the Venom refrences because I wanted to ask for feedback on Reddit, but after that... I kinda didn't know what to do. I constantly need to write something so I was just looking for something to write. I had shitty outlines of fan stories. But, man... I needed something original. Don't ask how, but I somehow came in contact with the script. I read it in like a day or two, immediately after reading I had a realization. I knew what my script was going to take inspiration from.
