BACKGROUND: Haemi lived her life as normally as she could in the time that she did. She was born to a young mother who couldn’t raise her and was adopted by the women she now knows as her mothers at age 8. As much as she was given a hard time for not having a father figure, she shook it off easily. Her mothers motivated her to do something she loved, to have a platform to change the way people treated others, and to prove she was more than who she was told she was. She quickly ruled out politician or diplomat (too susceptible to assassination), instead settling on an artist. She didn’t care what kind, she knew she’d find her calling sooner or later, but she wanted to move others. It wasn’t until a chaotic babysitting job that she realized that she really wanted to sing, and so she went for it and decided not to look back. She left several companies after mistreatment got to be too much. She was convinced she was back at square one until she found herself at Atë’s doorstep.

PERSONALITY: Haemi is straightforward. Her time is precious and she prefers not to waste it beating around the bush. If something is on her mind it doesn’t spend a lot of time there, because she’s blurting it out less than 5 minutes later. Because she doesn’t always take her time to think through things completely, her words are blunt. She leaves whoever she’s conversing with in shock, no matter what it is she may say. She’s shameless with no filter, so at the very least you know she’s genuine. Haemi has no problem stepping out of her comfort zone seeing as the zone itself is the one that will have to get used to her. She takes up space and holds a powerful presence because she refuses to be left behind a second time. She will lead because she’s afraid to follow, she will light her own path so she doesn’t have to wait in the dark. Haemi just does what she needs because she wants to survive and at the very least will leave the materials in place for others to strike the match and start the fire.
