  1.
  2. This probably isn't 100% accurate, but I gave it my best shot. Had to leave some bits out that I didn't understand.
  3.
  4. 43:54
  5. Ah, "her laugh heals my heart-" ohhh... my gosh. Ah-ree-gah-toe gozaimasu. Um, tenks.
  6. "Kurumi-chan's voice heals my heart," that makes me happy! Foreigners are pretty scary! They're praising me so much, it's scary!
  7. ...Healing, huh? Never thought I'd see the day come that I'd be able to do something like that.
  8. Well, I am an angel. "Healing," though, I don't know, I think I'm more of the "guiding" type. That's my job. I don't really do the healing thing much, that's not my responsibility.
  9. "It's 'cause Japanese people are bad at giving praise," yeah, I sometimes think it'd be nice to have been born overseas. I really think so. I really think so!
  10. "Heals them or condemns them?" That's extreme! They're both extremes.
  11.
  12. 45:00
  13. "Tenshi-chan's voice sure comes in handy." If it comes in handy... I'm not gonna stop.
  14. "Responsibility of killing-" no, it's not like that. Well, close.
  15. "Weren't you born in heaven?" Yeah, it was in heaven, but... it was in Japan's heaven.
  16. Heaven, um... what is it... that sort of... well, I'm the same as a Japanese person, so. My feelings and everything.
  17. As for overseas, it's like... a long time ago, or not a long time, a while ago? A while ago, there was this video of major league baseball...
  18.

  20. And so, when the guy got a homerun, it was like, the ball's gonna go all the way into the audience, isn't it? So, all these fans came to try and catch it... at first, one kid who looked maybe around 11, well, he was fairly big... this pretty normal looking elementary school boy got to it first, and he was like "yay!" Then, also, a little girl who looked 4 or 5 was running over but was too late, and got there just as the boy took the ball. Almost the exact same timing. So, that boy didn't know about her, she was behind him so he didn't realize, and he was really happy with himself for getting the ball, going "waa!" and such. Then, the girl had this look, like, "ah, he took it," and when she was going to go back, he looked over his shoulder, and probably realized that girl had just run over to try and get it too. Then, as the girl was running back to her seat, he tapped her on the shoulder and said "here," and he handed the ball to her. Well, stuff like that might also happen in Japan, I suppose.

  23. But after that, all the fans around him really liked him, and... when they saw it, they all asked to high-five him, or clapped for him... for some reason, they had that sort of communication, and the feeling of reverence from all around him was amazing. As for Japan, that kind of thing... we don't do that, you know? Like... "ahh... nice, ah..." kinda like that. "Ah..." We probably wouldn't even clap. We'd probably just whisper a bit, wouldn't we? "That's good, what a good guy," like that. "That boy was cool." Uh huh.
  24. Well, Japan has that sort of humility, and that feeling of ennui...
  25.
  26. 48:00
  27. Of course we'd like him, but after all, I think I like the way foreigners react.
  28. "Stop telling us about the time you stole a ball from a kid, granny!" (laughs before finishing reading).
  29. Well, that's not really because it's Japan. There's also foreign people who act like that. Yeah, everyone's human.
  30. Yeah, speaking of reactions, they're all used to saying "bless you" and praising others, it's really nice.
  31. When I talk like this, it's sort of like a radio show. "With that, up next we have a letter." Should I do that? A write-in corner. It's an idea. Well, we have the question box, but I think that's a bit different.
  32. "Humans be human."
  33. "It's because they don't have public personas overseas."
  34.
  35. 49:00
  36. ...I don't think that's the case. They have public personas. But... it's... what is it?
  37. They don't really act unpleasant, you know? I think Japanese can be a little bit unpleasant sometimes. Overseas is... I dunno.
  38. "They have to tip," uh huh.
  39. "A radio collaboration seems like it'd be a lot like that." Let's call Gorilla-san.
  40. "Comes from the differences in population density," ah, uh huh.
  41. "Even in games, foreigners will praise you a lot if you just do one good thing," ah, that's true.
  42.
  43. 50:00
  44. "Ia ia, Kurumi-chan fhtagn!" What? (laughs) What?
  45. "Strangely, they're not concerned about people's inner thoughts."
  46. I wonder about that sort of thing.
  47. Hmmm, that's a tough one. Well, that... that, what do you call it? People... people... what is it?
  48. Of course those sorts of people's internal dispositions are like that, but... the most... probably... directly related reason is the amount of words, I think. Probably.
  49.
  50. 51:00
  51. Like, between Japan and overseas, the amount of words, Japan uses a lot more words. Like the word "ennui" I used before, there are a lot of words that fit that expression. But, overseas, I think there's less vocabulary for expressing things like surprise, delight, and sorrow, probably. Like, "It's great." Or "beautiful." Well, maybe it makes what they mean clearer, but... There are fewer words. That means, if they think "Well, other than using words, how should I express the emotions I have right now?" it winds up as hand gestures and behavior. Reactions. So I think they compensate like that.
  52.
  53. 52:00
  54. So, stuff like how foreigners have such big reactions. They can show their emotions directly. But, as for Japan, well, there's a particular personality we have. Sort of like, should I say, indirect expressions? That's not quite it.
  55. But specifically, we'll give praise depending on how amazing something was.
  56. (???)
  57. They say their reactions are amazing, so they must have a lot of self-esteem, so that sort of thing, growing up, is... I think it must me great for them to grow up like that.
  58. "Not necessarily a Christian angel," true, Christian... well, Christians seem pretty fond of rock.
  59.
  60. 53:00
  61. "We don't praise other people a whole lot," hmm, I wonder why?
  62. Well, could be. Well, that is, that's what's always been done... that's, that's, what is that?
  63. "They probably have public personas, but when compared with Japan, the general idea behind ours is a lot more sparse." Hm, probably, I think so too, so...
  64. I don't think there's no difference. There is, definitely. 'Cause everyone's human. No such thing as a human who doesn't have private thoughts.
  65. (???)
  66. "Having to read the mood of other Japanese people is a pain"
  67. But, like this, in overseas places like America they'll say "Good, amazing, wonderful wonderful," but on the other hand, of course, you can't forget that they'll have such direct emotions in negative times as well, I think.
  68.
  69. 54:00
  70. Japan is like... well, it's said we have a sort of gloomy image, and even regarding praising people, like with bullying, it's sort of like, there are negative-feeling times where it's not the best thing to do.
  71. Overseas they get it all out, they get it all out so it just comes out directly, it's intense. Probably, stuff like bullying would be scarier over there. Well, I wonder about it, but I don't know.
  72. "Wakarimasen"
  73. "The difference between translating "I love you" as "aishiteru" or "daisuki"" Hmm, yeah. And stuff like writing composition is difficult.
  74. "Kurumi is your mother, your older sister, and your angel," it says. I- Kurumi is... mother? Eh? Okaa-san? I'm not a mother. "Older sister," um... onee-chan. "Your angel." Ah, it means "She's your mother, your older sister, and your angel," ah! Tenk yuu tenk yuu. I know I know. I know I know.
  75. I'm aware. I'm an angel, after all.
  76. Ah, I don't want to sound too serious. I hate showing my serious side the most. I guess that's my other side.
