  1. Question: If you want, please elaborate on what character design would be the best for Lurik.
  2.
  3. Responses:While there are some meaningful differences, I feel like the redesign shares a bit too many similarities with Oghram in terms of his build and the overall gruffness of his face. The original design is a bit more subdued and almost sweeter in a way that makes him stand out from the rest of the cast. I appreciate the improved colors and expression in the new design, but the old one is simply what made him my favorite dwarf.
  4. Current face, current outfit, redesigned body.
  5. Keep the near moustache & beard design from the old, a middle ground for the face, not too wide to coincide with the body that shouldn't be too ripped or massive, again a middle ground as he is a thief, not a mugger.
  6. Okay, BOTH are amazing, BUT I like the newer version due to him being beefier and, man, I want him on top of the MC like ASAP (That's gonna be so HOT).
  7. I like his old clothes better, they have a cool color palette. The nipple is also a bit too much for me, although I know it wasn't your idea ;)
  8. My english isn't good but what I meant when I said I liked both was that I liked the brown wrapping on the old design and would like to see it incorapated on the new design. Although you don't have to lol a
  9. body hair, also he kinda looks like hes wearing a onesie, maybe adding buttons on the bulge area would help
  10. I like the sleeveless shirt that shows off his pecs as much as possible
  11. Lurik seems to be going for a rogue archetype so a runners build makes more sense for him.
  12. I like the gruffness of the the redesign, particularly in the face. It looks like he's had to do a lot to survive on his own. I would maybe prefer a touch skinnier, in the arms, legs, and the waist? It seems like he's supposed to be a quick/agile, thief-type character, and as much as I appreciate big muscles, if he's too big it'll make him seem like more of a bruiser/bandit-type. I think somewhere between the two designs, with more muscle and tone/definition, would be an ideal balance. Keep that new face/jaw (and that ass!), though!
  13. I really love the new design even though that was a rough sketch. It really give Bara vibe and his muscle especially lower body look really good compare to the first one.
  14. The redesign for Lurik actually makes him attractive (to me obviously), before I was very meh about his design but with some more beef that not only sets him apart from the other dwarves but makes him plainly speaking sexier. He looks more rugged (which I think a thief with no real friends should be)
  15. The head of the redesign with the body of the current design. His arms are too short.
  16.
  17. Question: If you want, please elaborate on what character design would be the best for Kellan.
  18.
  19. Responses: I like the second design, but maybe with a longer beard more akin to the first design
  20. The new one looks a lot better, more dignified, handsomer & less twinkish, they are dwarves after all.
  21. I have mixed opinions on this one, which is why I favoured the old version over the new one; Basically, I like the leaner, wizened design of the old one, but maybe the new design is still too much of a rough sketch? I'm not sure.
  22. The new one is sexier and more unique, I like the staff with broken stones all around.
  23. The artstyle feels more 3d and alive. Also he's chubbier which makes more sense for an old man.
  24. bigger beard from first, rest from second
  25. The beard braids should be kept.
  26. yes, this design is so much better, especially the bun
  27. i like the belly
  28. I like the build of the newer design but the hair/beard of the old design.
  29. I wasn't too interested in pursuing a physical relationship with the first design, to be honest. A bit too old and frail, for my tastes, to be honest.
  30. Maybe show a bit of staff poking out near the waist of the character, staff feels awfully short. Consider adding some jewelry on his beard. I also imagine dwarves with a tad bit more heft.
  31. Old face, new body
  32. Same as Rurik, beefier is better. But also he looks more distinguished as opposed to elderly, which I think works better for his character
  33. The head of the redesign with the body of the current design.
  34. He lost too much hair on the side of his head in the new one
  35.
  36. Question: If you want, please elaborate on what character design would be the best for Arondal.
  37.
  38. Responses: The new one looks better, especially the face, legs look a wee bit too thicc that it seems a little out of proportion.
  39. Beefier, hairy chested Arondal? Hell YEAH! ...But I like his old outfit, especially his hat, better, so... Making the old outfit more revealing of his new hairy, and more muscular, chest would-be.
  40. The new design is incredible, it makes the character so much better!
  41. I really like the new design because it makes him more lively and unique while the old one is also nice its a bit basic and dull. I also really like the creatures on his back in the new design I think they are quite cute lol
  42. bigger beard
  43. honestly dont think you could compare the two, the new one is so much better, with a nice boob window
  44. i like the chest hair
  45. I kinda like the old design, but I do like the added detail of the redesign (especially the hairy chest peeking out).
  46. The pose is better on the current design, but every thing else is better on the new (I love the cats).
  47. New sprite looks great.
  48. Again, more beef! But also I do like the chubbiness of his original design, so a good mix of both would be good. Like musclechub, also the expression he has on the new design looks more aloof, which I think fits his character.
  49.
  50. Question: Is there anything you'd like to change concerning the character designs for Panya, Horgath, and Oghram?
  51.
  52. Responses: No
  53. Everything seem fine
  54. Hograth Could use a tool belt since he is a blacksmith
  55. I feel that the body proportion on oghram and panya are a little weird
  56. Maybe hograth and panya should have their "workplace logo" on their aprons for aesthetic
  57. More body hair. Chest hair, forearm hair… dwarves are hairy!!
  58. Oghram is perfect. Payna would look great with bigger pecs. Horgath would look great with bigger arms.
  59. I'd like to change Panya's clothes, I don't have a problem with the design itself but it's just too pink in my opinions. You could try adding a complementary color or perhaps an accessory or gloves.
  60. Actually, they're all great at the moment with maybe a bit more body hair as a bonus would be great.
  61. I personally think Horath could be more muscular for working as a blacksmith, or give him some tighter clothes that show his muscles (or chubbiness if the case).
  62. And Panya could be more detailed, his design felt a little blank for me
  63. I mean, an added dash of Bara is always welcome, but, overall, Horgath and Panya is fine, although a gruffier Oghram that doesn't compromise on his youngish adult features would be nice too~
  64. Maybe make Horgath more ginger because I like gingers, and it's like the stereotypical dwarf hair color. I really like everything else.
  65. I believe you described Panya as being chubby. Therefore it should be more obvious please.
  66. Panya looks a bit differnt design wise from the other two almost? His eyes are cartoonishly big compared to the two haha...but I don't mind but I think Oghram is my favorite design wise :)
  67. I'd give them bigger beards, because dwarves
  68. Horgath and Panya should lose their shirts, and just have their aprons
  69. they seem fine.
  70. some more muscle on horgath and panya
  71. compared to the other three these feel kinda underwhelming, adding something to spice them up a bit wouldnt hurt
  72. Just add some more muscle/belly/body hair
  73. I would prefer Panya and Horgath to be more muscular.
  74. I really like these designs, especially Horgath and Oghram.
  75. Horgath needs to be a little more buff, like Lurik. Since he is a blacksmith, it makes since that Horgath should be *very* strong looking.
  76. I didn't play the game yet.
  77. Horgath and Oghram are perfect.
  78. Panya should have a lot more rounder edges being the baker and all. Being a dwarf shouldn't give him the same musculature as Horgath.
  79. Horgath being a blacksmith should probably have a tad bit of an exaggerated sprite with the exaggeration going towards muscle and a bit of heft to give extra strength.
  80. Oghram actually looks pretty good. I agree with the gruff look. Considering he's a guard, maybe a sprite with armor on. I also do NOT agree with weapon choice or location of it being sheathed.
  81. Nothing
  82. Bigger boobs
  83. No they are great sprites in my opinion.
  84. I read the character design post, and I actually like that Horgath has longer legs. Similar to what I said about Rurik, it sets him apart in design, and obviously he doesnt have to be like a full sized "human", but him being a slightly longer proportioned dwarf would also be cool. I like Oghram's design the way it is, same for Panya.
  85. Not really, I think they look good!
  86. Panyas eyes feel out of place, and Oghram needs abs and a shirt that shows them.
  87.
  88. Question: Please elaborate on what character design would be the best for the protagonist?
  89.
  90. Responses: The protagonis having a canon design allows for the possibility for him to appear in CGs alongside the dwarves, which is always what I prefer in games like these. Other than that, I'm happy with the way the protag looks already.
  91. I like the design. Fitting for a human scholar among dwarves. Like the beard as well. Maybe give him green eyes to contrast nicely with his colouring?
  92. Maybe 3 facial hair types (none, stubble, fuxxy), 3 body types, thin, medium & chunky/chubby, he's a mage so overly defined musculature shouldn't be an option. Several skin color palettes for diversity & not that important but maybe 2-3 height options, with short getting maybe extra dialogue as hey approach dwarf height.
  93. It would be nice to have 3 body types for MC. A slim one (like the one already done), a chubbier one and a muscular one.
  94. It would be a lot of work to make those, but it would be nice.
  95. Well, the design you came up is fantastic and I would happily live with that, but I wouldn't mind one with longer hair, pulled back in ponytail, or a bit of a hipster fauxhawk (so long as I can keep the goatee the way it is in your design), but, man, so good so far!
  96. I love the character design for the protagonist. The fact that he is lean and tall contrasts nicely with the dwarves, and he looks like a cool mage.
  97. I really like it but usually but not always I prefer the no portrait to have a self insert (although fvn are the exceptions) but I really like the protag in this one! And I would love to have an option for customization in the future but this protag is also good enough as he is :)
  98. I prefer none so that I can imagine myself however I want, but if there will be one, just a basic human short-bearded bear without exaggerated proportions so as to contrast with the dwarves
  99. bust in text box is great. Then, in scenes, he would have a full image.
  100. being able to costumize a bit is great, and considering my beard/or currently lack of i would want a beard on the mc as well, the sketch is pretty good but it looks like he has a resting bitch face
  101.
  102. The shirt on protagonist shouldnt be that long to the feet , it should be about how it fits the character than being too long or too short for the character
  103. I think the full body portrait would be a little jarring/break the first-person feel of talking to the dwarves. But definitely a full body in any cg scenes!
  104. I would prefer if the MC was kinda chubby looking. The hair can be a little more fluffy looking, the eyes could be green or blue, and the body propotions can be a little more big looking. I like the beard on the MC though.
  105. Make the protagonist a little bit more of a bara man himself by giving him some more muscle. There are too many visual novels that are focused on bara romance options but the main character himself is really skinny or feminine so it would be nice to see a change in the trend.
  106. I am personally a fan of character customization which I know is a LOT of work. I enjoy being able to change my characters size, weight, musculature, looks and even possibly species. I would also not put too much emphasis on this until the game is mostly done. Character customization is just a really good bonus.
  107. The design is good, but the facial hair looks kinda weird and gross to me. That could just be me lol i dunno.
  108. I think the design you have for the Protag is amazing! Only thing would maybe be black hair? There's already a few characters with brown/lightly colored hair, black hair might be more striking. And I'm more partial to black hair
  109. Give him eyes that are a weird color cause hes a mage.
  110. I like the protagonist, he looks relatable. I would yust make the facial hair optional.
  111.
  112. Question: Lastly, regarding CGs: What would you like to see first in general?
  113.
  114. Responses: The 3 of them
  115. Various, depending on the scene or necessary for the plot & of course, nudity for the intimate moments.
  116. I would love to see BOTH, to be honest, or at least have it set-up to see both or either to start; Granted, I lean heavily toward the lewd in every case, but I know not everyone does, but, honestly, I ♡ me P*rn with Plot~
  117. Suggestive but not outright lewd CGs. Teases basically.
  118. Lewd should be included, but as a bonus or unlocked. Such as with courtship/dating. It should mean something.
  119. If you have a plan for lots of CGs, I think starting with Simple or Domestic is fine. If more limited, I would want like a semi-lewd (like shirtless, showing underwear bulge, or turned away showing bare-ass while at work/home).
  120. The first parts of the story, the CGs can be normal SFW CGs of the Dwarves doing their work, or sitting in their house for example. Later on, when the story starts getting deeper into the plot, and when the MC chooses to romance one of the Dwarves, then there should be NSFW CGs especially if they involve intimate moments and romance.
  121. Lewd CG + Suggestive CG (ex: bare chest blacksmithing, bath, spying undress, etc...)
  122. I would probably start with something lewd just to get peoples imaginations running. Follow that up with a mix of both lewd and heartwarming CG scenes.
